Co-op Pharmacy Forest Lawn

Sure has changed since I lived in Dover, they have real good chicken than the other store I've been, it seems that other stores are better than the one I go to, it's a bit farther but I don't mind traveling that way to get what I need.

Was OK. I personally find Co-op Expensive but picked up 3 items n had to wait as Only 1 Cashier was on.other than that decent Store NOT busy when I was there

The staff led me to believe that some random guy was following this woman (making me fear for her safety). I asked the man and customer service if the man worked for the store as security, they led me to believe he wasn’t. I told staff to call police on this man for following the woman and went to talk to the woman, told her a random guy was following her that wasn’t security. This obviously got her worried that someone was after her and made her fear her own safety aswell. I told her I’d walk her out to make sure she is safe and asked another staff to walk us out, still thinking this man is trying to harm her. Showed the picture of the man to these staff and everyone seemed shocked he was following her. She left and I went back in the store to pick up the couple groceries I needed, trying to avoid this man now because I think he could be upset with me for helping her (he was still at the front of the store when I walked in) and he walks up to me & tells me to get out of the store (without explaining who he is) and follows me to the aisle I need and then to the front…. I am TERRIFIED that some sketchy guy that was following this woman for who knows what reason is now following me and telling me to get out of the store. I finally manage to find out he is an LPO from the lady checking me out at the till.

I request to speak with a manager and she explains that they are just doing their job, next time ask to speak to a manager to clear things up and that I did great to look out for another woman like that. I agree that they are doing their job but when you have a worried woman saying a man is following another woman and requesting 911, there should be management stepping in and requesting to speak with me to clear this up rather than letting me be scared out of my mind. I left the store shaking and in tears from everything that happened and being so overwhelmed. Super disappointed that they allowed it to escalate that far.

A great grocery store nearby. The place is always clean and stocked. Fresh food items are available always. Staff is also super helpful. Recommend place.

It's not as big as some of the other coops but it's ok. There was only 2 cashiers which one was half maning the self check out so she was a little all over the place which was making people a little upset.

Had every i needed and the pharmacy was fast, called ahead a d everything was ready when i arrived 15 min later.food prices were about what i expected.not low but not high, some were in the middle, store was clean, fresh produce was good, nothing that looked old.id probably go back if i was in the area.

I used to come here all the time because the gas had zero ethanol. This has changed and it now contains ethanol. The fuel economy between their ethanol and zero ethanol gas is significant. For some reason, the Superstore gas (Mobil) seems to give me much better fuel mileage, so I switched. Maybe it's just my imagination? Try for yourself, don't take my word for it. Anyways, the best gas for the best price would be Costco, but I don't have a membership.
Co-op food prices are ridiculously high but they do have good customer service.

Kinda pricey but if what you need is on sale then it's worth it cause the deals are pretty sweet.

It's my grocery store and I love how everything is so fresh. This store makes the best chicken tenders in Calgary.

Damn good bananas and the security didn't follow me around like I was going to shoplift because I was wearin a backpack.

The customer service representative who assisted me, was very helpful tonight and she deserves recognition.

When you walk in I love all the fresh produce right away. Looks great and makes you want fresh stuff to buy. Great store

Experience was good shelves were low on most products prices have gone up about 10 to 15 percent

Love the local foods and staff are very friendly and helpful. They dont usually have lineups so you don't have to rush around the store to get to a till.reasonable prices considering it's all local small producers and farmers.

Well organized, with friendly staff and a good selection of products. Grocery delivery is very convenient.

Always a pleasure experience. My mom and i regularly use all of co op's service's and the staff are pleasant and helpful as well as great knowledge of all their products and services. Everything went smooth. Prices and products are on point. Delivery time was right in the slot I chose for delivery. Delivery man was really polite and courteous. My groceries were everything I wanted as if it was I who shopped. It was perfect. Thank you co op

It was a pleasure to go there I haven't been in a while. Clean, big spacious and very friendly staff.

Update as of March 7th 2022.
They totally crapped the bed in the Pharmacy department. In fact, due to the issues our family will not be going back to COOP in any capacity. You lost my bussiness due to incapable people. They lost two prescriptions for my wife in the matter of a month…twice. Then we were told just get the doctor to prescribe you a new note…waste of our time. We will get the note and go back to Shoppers for our medications, no money back at the end of year, but wayyyyy better service.

There are a lot of stuff there but the store is not organized well with large signs. It is hard to know how to find what you want

Went to this location today to pick up a few things. I am medically exempt from wearing a mask, when I entered the store there was no security present at the entrance and the store was quiet as it was early in the morning. As I went through the aisles a security guard spotted me and said you need a mask, I said I’m medically exempt and then he said ok and walked on. Literally a minute later he came back with a slightly aggressive nature and said “just so you know masks will be mandatory in this store in a month”. This is surprising information as I believe legally I can claim an exemption. Not a great experience here today.

Calgary Co-Op in Forest Lawn has always been forward thinking. They keep their buildings clean and modern looking. The gas bar here is very conveniently located and is very quick.

The grocery store section is bright and easy to navigate. The self-check out registers are sanitized each and every time some is done checking out. You can tell that health is very important to the staff here.

They have plenty of staff on during the day so it does not get backed up at the till or if you have questions, there is someone around who is more than willing to answer them.

The staff here are generally quite knowledgeable about the products that they sell and the locations of them too.

It is great to have them in the area!

Purchased gift cards for my staff at this location and their machine glitched. Management has refused to reverse the transaction and has been giving me the run around for four months. I personally refunded the individual who's card wouldn't function as Coop's policy is to not help with those items that they stock on their shelves. Be aware that they will keep money that doesn't belong to them and will make it difficult to sort out the process. I feel discriminated against and have not been able to obtain a solution.

It is a blessing to me.it's near my home with easy access and great workers and politely with absolutely excellent management

I tend to shop here often. The store is always clean and they sanitize after each customer use at the registers both cashiers and self serve. They have well stocked shelves and a large selection of fruits and vegetables. They have a very wide selection of meats and their deli section is top notch. Their rotisserie chicken is beyond delicious and they have a good selection of meats and ready made eats. Their bakery is excellent. I have been getting birthday cakes for all the members of my family for years here and it's always a hit. Check out the catalog at the bakery for fun and interesting designs for your cakes. They also have great ready made cakes on site for your various holidays and celebrations. Their wash room is very clean and I feel very safe using their baby changing tables. There are changing tables in both the men and women restrooms. My husband also uses their gas bar and car wash often. Don't forget to use or sign up for a member number, it can really add up with your year end membership cheque. You can also get your transit tickets and passes here along with lotto tickets. There is also an on site pharmacy as well. There is even a designated phone line for taxi service at the door. You can't go wrong with this location, friendly staff, excellent service and a great neighbourhood one stop shop.

Visit was Awesome because my Dear Father got First Pfizer vaccine and Doctor was very Nice and helpful and room was clean and bright

I've been shopping here for well over 40 years and co-op used to be my go-to place. But in those 40 years services gradually decreased, no longer have the product they used to have. No checkouts open to speak of, only self checkouts and I am not their staff. They're carry out service is almost non-existent. When I brought my concerns up to the manager she was rude and dismissive I I will no longer be a customer

This store is nice and clean. Produce is fresh and the isles are clearly marked. They only had one register open when I went to check out so there was a bit if a line. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Co-op delivery is the best in Calgary. Groceries within hours and friendly staff! They even toss in a free bag of chips once in awhile!

Wonderful location, back room and store floor were exceptionally organized and well maintained. Also found a few hidden gems I've been looking for in other stores

They do accept CO-OP rewards.

This place is sketchy. Always people begging out side of the store. Every time i have been there is some one going thru the trash. But its not really the COOP fault, its the neighborhood. Just make sure you lock your doors, and keep valuables hidden.

After reading some of the reviews on here I feel the need to share mine.
I have always had a great experience here the staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I always get served right away and don't feel pressured by the staff either. I have made it my regular store because of that. Unlike alot of these stores this one has good staff, and great product without feeling like it's pretending to be gangster or stereotypically themed. Keeps me coming back I would definitely recommend visiting.

Yeesh. What a crummy place to shop. It was loud and the lighting is poor. Too many shoppers in the store and the staff seemed oblivious to COVID protocols. Not going back, ever!

Always reliable and open during most holidays. If you come there and expect an in-depth discussion about which strain is better etc, then you came for the wrong reasons. It’s the perfect store to quickly get your weed and leave. No BS, just straight decent weed. These 1 star reviews are Karens that expect too much.

Scooby Doo is obviously an employee here this place is absolutely horrible. Garbage products, terrible service, absolutely incompetent management. I cannot stress how bad this store is. Go anywhere else, save yourself from the judgement from staff and the overall demeaning vibe of this establishment

I love this store! I have been shopping here for years. The staff is always friendly, informative and willing to serve the community.

I and my adopted sister have shopped here for years and I always appreciate the wide selection, the helpful staff, and the location itself. Their deli, bakery and produce sections are all top notch and always have what we're looking for. I also must commend the customer service here for being very courteous and willing to help out.

The pharmacy is horrible! I went there 3 times for my perscription because they kept screwing it up. I said fill all, they did 2. Not the 2 I needed. The next day I came back to get the other 2 prescriptions, they gave me 1 bag with 1 perscription in it, not the second one I needed. (It was in another bag they never gave me.then I get a phone call yesterday morning telling me they had some pills they owed me, so I stopped in on my way home from work to pick them up, and they tell me they have nothing.all they do is waste my time and gas.not very impressed with this Co-OP!

This is the best co-op you could ever go to their staff care so much of their people in the neighbourhood Who come on a regular basis who will go out of their way to help you no matter what no matter how busy they are they will do everything to help you. Even when I had foot surgery one of the people that are on the higher management said they would help me get groceries to bring them home I believe that is so special incredible incredible people. Keep up the good work everyone.

Like an enormous general store that seems to cover it all. Stocks good Alberta beef. Good thing, too. Tried 'beyond meat' awhile back. It wasn't.

this place is always closed, you can't get in.if you said you got in, i'd say you lied to me.

Absolutely gross the meat department is just uncalled for some of the meat choices I would have never seen 5 years ago. Lamb testicles other organ meat. Just a real turnoff.

This store gets more and more expensive but the quality especially in meat is not good. Coop when I was younger, was a store that sold great quality meat and community produce to not only support local farmers but bring fair prices to consumers. Twice I have returned rotten chicken without even an apology though the best before date showed it was good for a few more days. Ive bought very expensive steaks and roasts which were tough as nails and I am a chef Jean Mccoy
