Co-op West Springs

It's a good place to pick up quick stuff, but isn't a huge store so it doesn't have the variety of the bigger Co-op stores.

Such a good selection here! Found reasonably sized briskets, didn’t go here for that but certainly left with one.

Great service from pharmacy Logan went out of his way to help me find the right medicines for my family. He didn't rush me came from behind the counter showed me where to look and what may help. He also prescribed something to help me. So happy and grateful for his kindness.

Been waiting in the line for a car wash, after waiting for 45 minutes and half way through the line, saw that only one of the 2 washing bays is working. The staff should put a sign up, so that people know the wait is going to be long and may come at another time.

This Co-op location has the best baked goods of all the co-ops in the city. Whoever is running this bakery needs to be promoted. (Oct. 2022)

Well stocked store. Staff are friendly at the till. Good selection of everything you'll need. I find the gross price increases a tad offensive, its blatant price gouging. Otherwise its good, I just feel most people won't want to spend $16 for bacon

One of the most valuable perk of the membership is your full service gas pumps at your gas station. Although the last two times I have been there I have had to pump my own gas because there has been no attendant. For me this is unacceptable and I will give it one more chance. If the still is no full service I will switch stations and receive points at petro Canada which have more monetary valve than the coop but I was shopping for service. I am sure more people especially woman feel the same way.

Horrible store. I was racially profiled at this store last week, all for what? I was walking around the store looking for a specific item, when I discovered it was not there, I noticed an employee following me around the store for around 5 minutes andI attempted to leave, this same employee stopped me at the store and got his manager to search my pockets. Completely unreasonable.

I am torn on this review, I really am. My initial experience was pretty good as I enjoyed the aesthetic of the location both inside and out; my first impression was 4 stars. Mainly, care had been taken to build the displays but I noticed it was deathly quiet, my initial thought was this is not a bad thing to have on an evening shop as it would make the shopping swift. That said, the customer service was not as good as competitors and so I deducted. 5 stars for this. Another half was deducted because of the noticeably more expensive items when you compare to competitor stores of Sobeys, Safeway and Walmart. I would have been happy to pay the extra cost per dollar for a nice looking and diverse grocery store so long as the customer service matched the aesthetic. I will try this store again in a few months to hopefully up the review. Please note, this is constructive feedback and I did enjoy the experience overall. That said, I cannot in good faith give this a an overly positive review (4 or more). Thanks CO-OP for providing a really nice atmosphere to shop!

Never too busy. The meat and baked goods quality is always the best in the city. Highly recommend!

Nice CO-OP, great meat counter and they have Cluck N Cleaver and, Spolumbos sandwiches available.

CO-OP used to be great. Then they followed the liberal progressives and started “saving the world” one bag at a time. Pay for bags, no more grocery coupons when you gas up and the shareholder rebate is minuscule even if you so spend thousands there. So much for being a loyal customer.
