Naveed was extremely helpful, always patient with us and answered calls and emails quickly. He made the purchasing experience quite painless. Would definitely purchase with him again!

Our only concern was with delivery, one of our fridges did not fit through the spice kitchen door. The delivery team came inside and measured it first, but then still unboxed the fridge and tried to bring it inside. When it did not fit (even after taking the doors off) they took it back saying we would get a full refund and to call the store. The representative at the store did not give a full refund but actually held back 40% because the fridge was unboxed! We did not remove it from the box, your delivery team did and yet we must pay the penalty.

This service at the very end is the reason I will not recommend people to shop with Coast even though Naveed was amazing. He tried his best on his end to get us a full refund.

Awful experience
Broken washer delivered. Now I have to wait for a tech to come look at with no time frame. Leaving me to go to a laundromat

Told that someone would call regarding a refund and when I called customer service they told me they don’t have a refund in the system to call the salesperson. Will not buy from again!

Recently I purchased a microwave and an electric range for my house from Gateway location. We are very happy and satisfied with the product. Thanks to Rashpal. She was very friendly, nice and have excellent knowledge of a good customer service. She helped us to find the right product as per our requirement. Worst experience ever. We bought all appliances from Coast for our new house. At the time of delivery the delivery man dropped off appliances in the garage which were packed. After that they sent installer to install all appliances. Installer found a dent on washer and thus did not install the washer. Since then we are continuously contacting Coast but Coast has refused to take responsibility of washer.
They receive payment, deliver damaged items and held customers responsible for damages.

Location easy to reach, large selection, heard many good things, unfortunately when we went in we were not approached by any sales representatives, some were with other customers, some seemed not interested in making the first move.

We had a great experience with Coast Appliances -
This was our first time purchasing with them. Everything went smoothly. From the purchase to the delivery. Although there was quite a delay for the product to be delivered (which was a manufacturer issue) - Coast always kept us informed of the progress which was much appreciated.

Very nice place to do your appliances shopping. Rashpal was very helpful to choose the best option that fits my needs in kitchen.

We ordered and overpaid for appliances in Nov 2021 and as of end of June 2022 have still not received them. They turned around and sold them to another customer when they arrived. We finally got a refund for the overpayment amount in April. No apology, and no communication from anyone at the store except emails with news of more delivery delays.

I had a great experience with Rebecca Bouvette when purchasing a new range! My expected delivery date was flexible enough so I was able to check if I could pick up instead. Also, I did not feel pressured to buy warranty or directed to some other else than what I wanted.

I do have to admit that I met Rebecca on my second visit to Trail.

In my first visit, I did see a something that I might be interested in, but did not feel positive about my interaction with the salesman, that day.

I ended up returning later because I thought the product was what I wanted, and glad that Rebecca was available to answer my questions and concerns.

Guys I never suggest to go to this location and guy name Gurkirat sales person has no customer service. These guys delivered two broken fridge, and they are not replacing with new one. I had all the chat with Mr. Gurkirat. So guys neverrrrrrrrr go to this location. Horrible service. Dont go to coast appliances. There are lot of appliances store.

I recently purchased a Fridgidaire fridge late on a Sunday afternoon. Delivery was quick and went off without a hitch. Delivery crew leader was very friendly and knowledgeable. 30 minutes later they were driving off with my old unit for recycling. Very friendly service from start to finish. I will 100% recommend Coast.

DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY.
Coast appliances themselves were good to deal with in the beginning but the third warranty service (W3 solutions) they offer is hot garbage. Its been over 3 months and 10+ calls to all parties and still waiting on items. Yes, there is covid, floods, holidays, shipping delays etc.but they arent shipping from Mars. Would definitely not recommend a company that support another one which has terrible after sales service.

My senior parents (80 &90) bought a new refrigerator to be delivered to their home. The white glove service was an additional 90.00. White glove service means they bring it in and take away the packaging. No hook up no handles attached. The refrigerator fit in their kitchen however one side of the door wouldn’t open because it was too close to the wall. We contacted coast appliances about our error and what could be done. Coast appliances stated they could pick up the refrigerator however my parents would have to pay an additional 750.00 for restocking fees. 750! Shame on you coast appliances. Never will I ever purchase anything here and I will certainly let all my friends, family and vague acquaintances know of what I think of coast appliances.
Response to owner- the restocking fee of $750.00 was advised over the phone. Do you have special restocking fees for each individual item? So if my parents brought back the refrigerator and paid the 750.00 restocking fee, you would then be able to sell a brand new 2000.00 fridge for 1250.00? I was in the store and did not see any kind of deals like that! Your response says enough about your customer service.

Great learning experience about stoves, Ashley was a kind, knowlegible, associate, with 15 years of experience, she let my wife and I know, what is best, affordable, and the most reliable stove to buy, thanks for your help and experience, for us to make an honest decision on what to buy.

When we entered Coast Appliances in Edmonton South, we were greeted in a friendly manner wherever we roamed in the store. Nobody pestered us. When we did require help, Rashpal was efficient and friendly, but not "pushy". We appreciated that very much. She provided the information we required regarding deep freezers and went home with measurements. We phoned back to Rashpal at the store with our choice and in two days it was delivered by two young men who were very conscientious and professional. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received at Coast Appliances - Edmonton South. Thank you!

So far, our experience dealing with Coast appliances has been very favourable. My wife and I found that the sales representative, Malcolm, was informative and applied no pressure on us to make a sale.

My experience could not have been worse. As a disabled person with autoimmune disease and severe environmental and chemical sensitivity, it was very important for me to get a brand new dryer and have the most chemical free delivery that I could possibly have. I did purchase a scratch and dent which I understood to be a floor model that was still a brand new machine but that simply have been a floor model. After many, many emails regarding the delivery and what my needs would be for some very basic reasonable accommodation for someone like myself, all my requests were ignored and the situation became unbearably stressful and I had to accept delivery and allow the chemicals in my home. To make matters worse I have received a used dryer with lint still stuck in the lint catcher and in the crevices around the door and with such extreme chemical fragrance in the drum it is like a cherry bomb went off and after repeatedly washing with vinegar I cannot mitigate the chemical. This is a used dryer that they have sent me and they have put me through hell in the delivery process. Never ever use these people as their concern for the customer is zero. I am suffering severe reaction from the chemicals which will be ongoing now for days and weeks and then triggering autoimmune problems again which will go on for months. Devastating for me.

My wife and I were looking for a new fridge and we contacted Ashley Miller at the Edmonton South Coast Appliances. We emailed for a few days and then looked over the fridges on the site which was well laid out. I went to visit the store and the personal interaction with Ashley was very positive and helpful. My wife was away at the time so Ashley contacted her on Facetime so she was part of the selection process. It all went smoothly and within a few days we had the fridge installed.

We had a fridge on backlog with the Brick since September 2020 due to Covid. It was supposed to arrive in March, then May, and finally July, so we went to Coast Alliances Edmonton to see what they had, and we found the exact same fridge and got it for the same price. Not only that, they had 25 in stock, and they offered to deliver it within 2 days.

Coast Appliances was great, I purchased a 10.1 cu ft stand up freezer, the salesman Malcom was easy to deal with, he was honest and up front about the fact that it may be a few months before the item was delivered due to shortages but told me that I could call and check in anytime. Once my item came in it was ready for delivery the next day. Coast Appliances will be my first stop when I am in the market for my next appliance.

Bought a washer dryer set out of the scratch/dent clearance section. Was helped by Adrien, nice guy and fair prices will be back if I need more appliances.

I needed the help of a sales person and the receptionist quickly called a sales rep for me. He helped me find the item I needed and ordered it then provided me with the specs. An excellent service and a knowledgeable sales person.

Sent live chat request and Gill got right back to me with more than 4 options. Made purchase over phone he set up delivery and everything without me having to come to store. Highly recommend this store.

I needed an entire house package of appliances after a house fire. High-end 36 inch wide gas range, high-end fridge, laundry pair, freezer and a built-in microwave with trim kit. I wear jeans and comfortable clothes so I don't necessarily look like I have money to spend. The sales people we're dismissive and didn't seem to have the time to show me what was available. I walked out and went to another business. I did not find their prices, website or selection to be remotely comparable to their competitors

From an out of towner client. Spoke with Sam and had a cost estimate within 30 minutes. We chose our 6 in stock on site appliances. They assisted in the loading of 3. We forgot to enquire about the warehouse address in north Edmonton.eventually arrived there. Nice guys assisted with loading and we were on our way!

My washing machine decided to self destruct late last night. I went to a local store in Leduc and was greeted by a sales person who knew nothing about washers and dryers so they were not helpful at all. I decided to drive into Edmonton at saw Coast Appliances so I pulled in. I was greeted by a salesman named Gill. I told him I was looking for a washer and dryer. He walked over to a wall of washers & dryers and began telling me the highlights of each machine. I asked some questions and he was very knowledgeable in his answers. He knew every detail of every washer & dryer there. I was very impressed especially since I had such terrible service at Ken’s Furniture in Leduc. My husband was a work but wanted to be involved in the buying process so I was busy texting him prices/brands/model #’s. I eventually called him so he could ask Gill any questions that he may have had. Gill helped us narrow down our search to 2 brands and then 1. We discussed warranty and delivery. At this point I would normally thank the sales person and go to 10 more stores and spend an eternity researching every single brand. But I was so impressed with Gill’s knowledge and his no pressure sales approach we decided to buy the washer & dryer right then. Anyone who knows me will know that this is a rarity. I research a product in depth before I buy. (It took me 2 years to buy a vehicle)

I need to add that this could have easily gone bad because I was on the verge of tears driving into Edmonton. The thought of having to spend $$$ that we aren’t prepared to spend after an incredibly difficult year had me stressed. I commend Gill on his professionalism and product knowledge. My nerves were settled when I knew I was in good hands.

This was just the buying process. I will be a lifetime customer if the delivery & installation go smoothly.

I apologize for the long review but it boils down to, I would recommend Gill & Coast Appliances any day.

We were referred to Mr. Gill from a builder we know. Mr. Gill was helpful, to the point and offered relevant information on the appliances we were looking at. I took a week or so to decide, did some research on the appliances Mr. Gill recommended and all had great reviews; I then had great confidence in his knowledge about products. When we returned to the store to confirm our purchase, Mr. Gill was helping another customer, so we spoke to Ashley; Ashely was so pleasant, knowledgeable and again was able to answer all of our questions. When Mr. Gill was finished with his customer, he did follow up with us. We ended up buying all of appliances today! I would suggest visiting the store before 3pm if possible, as it does seem get busier between 3-5pm.

Best place to get new appliances! Selection and prices are competitive and offers made our purchase affordable.

Re Coast Appliances on Gateway Blvd, Edmonton: I went there today to purchase a washer/dryer set. I received all the pertinent details from Malcolm so I could make my decision. I was very happy with the service!

I had a positive experience buying a new microwave from them when my old one died on me. Thankfully they had a similar model in stock. My salesperson, Ashley Miller was very helpful throughout the virtual process of buying. Once we decided on the model, she issues an invoice and all we had to do was go pay and pickup. I will be contacting them in the future for my appliance purchase needs.

Sorry for the bad rating, I almost bought a refrigerator plus other appliances that would not fit my space. Salesperson needs to know the product their selling

I found this store when I needed a new laundry set a couple years ago, great service, great prices. So when I needed kitchen appliances, I went back. Still great service and great prices. The wait time is a bit longer than usual these days but worth it and delivery is always well done. They price match as well.

Gill was quick to respond and get me a couple options to chose from. Sent invoice, allowed me to pay by e transfer, and I picked up my new appliances within 2 days. Great service!

Ashley was over and above helpful! She found the dishwasher I wanted with all the options within my price range. Everywhere else I looked said I’d have to wait 42 days to 6 months! Ashley found it and will be delivered in 2 weeks!

They provide a very convenient text consultation service, were prompt in their reply, and helped me search for the product I was looking for.

Simple, easy and efficient. Waiting on the installation tech to contact me but the purchase part was great. Polite, provided all the information I needed.

So as I entered the store, I was not greeted by anybody. I stood there for a few minutes before I shouted hello. I was then greeted by two gentlemen. I asked to purchase a water filter for my fridge, the gentleman helped me with that no problem at all. However, the whole process took about 20 minutes, I had to go to his office area, provide all of my information, name, number, address etc.then I was told to go up front to pay. We did that. He then had to go back to finish the process which again seemed like forever. When he was done, he came and gave me the filter and receipt and I was finally on my way. This whole process took approximately 20 minutes! I could not believe how long this took! For a fridge filter! Not to mention, now that we know the filter, it is 15$ cheaper on line. The gentleman that helped me was perfectly fine but the process was absolutely mind blowing.

I went to Coast Appliances to buy Complete set of appliance for my new home. One of my friend refered to Gurkeerat Gill, so after visiting I met him directly. The deal was very smooth. He is extremely knowledgeable, he gave us expert advice which help us making a satisfying decision. Above all, the final price is better than my expectations. It's hard to find such professional, knowledgeable and passionate employee. I would really recommend him to my friends.

It was great the receptionist was pleasant and dealt with me very well. The warehouse people were efficient and got my appliance loaded quickly and safely.

I am truly baffled by all the stellar reviews on the page. I wonder if they paid for them. I am very unhappy with the services.
Got my (partial) appliances after 3 months and it took an another week to get them installed just to find out the gas top is defective. Still waiting to get my complain addressed and resolved.

I am typically a very open minded, forgiving & friendly person but the service & product these guys have provided is pathetic and total wastage of money.

NOT RECOMMENDED.

Gill was fast and efficient at the south branch. I would highly recommend him and coast. He was knowledgeable and anticipated my needs. I wanted to buy a quality product at a fair price in a short period of time without any grandiose showboating or sales gimmicks and they performed admirably
