The front desk staff were amazing. I have never been anywhere that they were so friendly and helpful!

A most wonderful location to stay that is nestled in the gorgeous mountain ranges and conveniently close to local bus services, stores, car washes and restaurants.

I booked in over xmas for me and my dog. I got a great deal off a 3rd party booking site. The rooms are great, not super posh but still nice, lots of hot water and a nice tubs to have soaks in after being outside all day. The location is perfect- easily walkable into town and for highway access. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because when I called the hotel to ensure they knew I was bringing my dog I was told I had to upgrade me room for a fee of an additional $20/per night and they also charged a pet fee per night of $25 which other hotels in Waterton and Jasper only charged once not for consecutive nights. They did give me comped parking for the 4 days I was there so that helped a little but I ended up spending an additional $135 on my stay.

Had a great time over New Years we enjoyed the pool and were able to walk to a few shops. Breakfast buffet was a little expensive but the food was good. Overall would stay here again.

Had a great stay. Walking distance to everything and anything. Lovely rooms and great staff.

Waaaaay over priced! $315 for a basic hotel room for one nite! Wasnt even a continental breakfast er nothing. Plus a $150 deposit! Nothing like ripping people off hey?

If you need overpriced rooms this place is great.

I traveled from Victoria to Halifax and I can assure you here in Canmore/Banff area was the most expensive. And understandably so to a degree.

My irritation and frustration with overpaying here was the fact they remove other amenities most hotels provide for free. Every other hotel I stayed at across Canada provided complementary hot breakfast. This hotel charged me $350 a night, and offered me $5 off at the restaurant if I didn't get room service. We went for breakfast there and hey welcome to more mountain view pricing. We paid $36 after the discount for a standard breakfast, 2 coffees and a "parfait" (yogurt, granola and berries) then we had the privilege of going to a water station and serving ourselves.

Lastly, small gripe, they don't have cable TV. Strange, but something we noticed.

For the cost and lack of everything you get at this hotel I would not recommend staying there. But I'm assuming this is the general welcome you get in the Canmore/Banff region.

Perfect location to explore the banff national Parks, much more affordable than the banff region. Plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Gave us complimentary gifts for my wife's birthday. Great suggestions for places to visit by the front office team.

Plenty of parking spaces at the hotel.

It was our firat time in Canmote and we were very excited to come. It was my fiamces.birthday. Being that I use to work in gueat servicea, my firat impreaaion of the hotel was great. We had a warm welcoming. Met with a smile and even a birthday bag for my fiance. Which was above and beyond. Front desk was always easy to deal with and treated you with respext and that you were valued. We had a beautiful room, that was up to date and clean. Not to mentuon the view. GORGEOUS. The hotel was clean and well took care of, with a well equipped gym. Along with a pool and a hot tub. We had an amazing stay and we are greatful. The resteraunt was under staffed and did not come cloae to the customer aervice your front desk had. Sat there for 10 minutes without a greeting or an offering of what we qould like. Could be seated for brrakfast due to 45 minute wait.

Our reception at Coast Hotel ended up being wonderful and all of our guests had a great time! Our coordinator was responsive through all stages of planning, and the day of staff were all incredibly friendly and happy to be there. Pricing was reasonable for Canmore pricing, and our wedding suite was romantic with bubbly, a special treat, and rose petals setup when we arrived. They also gave us a special treat for our dog which was appreciated.

If we could give Coast more than 5 stars, we would! We hosted our intimate wedding dinner at Table Food + Drink, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the initial inquiry email, through the planning stage, to the dinner and party itself, everything went so smoothly. Charlotte was our coordinator and she was absolutely incredible! She was quick to respond to emails and accommodating of all our requests. Our bartender (Owen, you were everyone’s favourite person, thank you for being so awesome) and servers went above and beyond to orchestrate a flawless dinner service and ensure our guests enjoyed themselves all night. Finally, the food was absolutely exceptional! We were thrilled with the selections of meals available on the feature menu, and everything was delicious. There is absolutely nothing we would have changed, and we’re so grateful to Coast for helping us plan our dream reception. Thank you so much for everything!

Even if the staff is courteous and welcoming, the rate is simply exorbitant. The room was nice but definitely not worth $507 a night

Not a good experience. They put me in the corner room facing the street and the parking lot. It was very noisy and I hardly got any sleep. The furniture is also very low quality and the bed was uncomfortable. It is insane that people pay 380$ a night to stay in such a place.

The main positive is that it is walking distance to food. The people working were also nice and helpful but it doesn’t make up for the terrible room and location.
