They don't like large dog breeds plain and simple.
I brought my german shepard puppy with some friends, well she got excited seeing another shepard walk in. She was vocal about seein him and was telling me, I told her to stop and she did.
One of the waitresses came over and told me "maybe i should put my dog away in the corner". Ya wont be back after that ride comment.
I get my dog has a loud bark considering her breed, but their are other dogs growling and barking more, yet your company singled me out for having the only large breed inside.

Original.dog-friendly, and there were many dogs.many disco “objects. ” sweet, heated outdoors be seated.sparkly and shiny.enjoyed.

There’s always great vibes at Cold Garden! Pony Farm Pear Hefeweizen was perfect for a hot summer afternoon. Plenty of seating for my friends and I. We ordered takeout from Ari Sushi and had it with our beers. ZEST Lemon Lager was also perfection.

Fun place! Good beer, friendly staff, and eclectic ambience (cool art all over the place). Tried the TASTE THE RAINBOW PINEAPPLE PASSIONFRUIT & SKITTLES LAGER and it was great!

Fun bar in a trendy neighborhood. Seating inside and out. People of all ages. Dog friendly. Drinks were good.

Great atmosphere, unique artwork and ambience. Feel free to bring in your own food too! A must see if you are in Calgary!

Cool environment, seat yourself and they will come take your order, good prices. Only complaint is the minimum automatic tipping option is 20% which is quite steep.

Best pub in Calgary! It's not even a pub.it's a 'tasting' bar for the micro brewery. I love this place!?

Went to meet a couple of friends for a birthday pint. Enjoyed the Cakeface ale! I also ended up meeting two puppies and 3 doggos today. 10/10 would recommend. Ps. The vanilla cappuccino porter was to die for.

Definetly worth a visit if you havent been there!

By far one of the best places I've been to. The atmosphere is unlike any brewhouse, bar or pub I've ever been to. Everything from the decor to the seating is amazing.

The staff are very extremely friendly and welcoming. I especially want to mention Cody and Cassidy, they were an absolute delight.

I would reccomend anyone in Calgary to check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

As always, a fantastic spot to come and enjoy some amazing local craft beers with a doggo friendly massive patio. Excellent walkable access to everything you need and many local food stops, 10/10 would recommend.

Nice setting to relax on a Friday afternoon in the Sun. Good place four former dog owners to get some canine therapy too!

If you are looking for a party atmosphere bar, a fun patio which allows dogs, and close to other great breweries, this one is it. I gave it 3 stars because the beers themselves are overrated, and the frat party atmosphere is not my style.

Such a great experience, fun and comfortable atmosphere, and a bonus of being pet friendly, we're talking cats on leashes and dogs on leashes and great place to make new connections with people.

Cold Garden is a great place. Lots of outdoor space, hopefully that gets to stay after the pandemic. Dogs are welcome both outdoors and inside. It's nice to be able to sit with a beer and watch all the happy dogs:)

Amazing highly recommend. Bring the dog chill on the patio have a fire in a great happy environment.

I love this place, even though we are not able to socialize like before it is still a great place to bring your dogs and have a really good beer.

This is definitely the place. Lots of patio room to adapt to Covid restrictions. Servers are always friendly and beer is always good, dogs are always cute.

This is definitely the coolest outdoor hangout in Calgary. Open year round rain or snow. On cold days you can have a fire or they will bring a portable heater to your table. They don't serve food but you can order whatever you like or bring outside food. You can also bring your dog with you

Cold gardens should be nicknamed cooldotcom for sure. It's got a unique vibe for a certain kind of crowd and alot of other adventurous and open minded people and it's definitely one of my favorites in the "four oh three". It's a friendly location and if you are ever in need of a bunch or random cuteness to pet, then you gotta visit. Last time we were there, we met a who had lost it's owner and was poured with so much love from people and also got an immediate temporary dad.also the beer is great.

The beers I got were absolutely delicious the peach cobbler one was the best. The patio vibe was cool, loved to see the dogs around that was great. No host however to greet people at the front just kind of sit wherever. I got the salsa and chips, didn’t come in a bowl or anything fancy just a bag of chips and jar of salsa. If you want some delicious beer and to be around the dogs this is the place.
