I keep coming here for pain in my stomach area that has worsened for months now and I keep getting new symptoms, it’s sometimes excruciating but I feel like the dr and the nurses here don’t believe me and tell me absolutely nothing is wrong with me, I’m back and fourth from two different hospital bc the other one can’t offer the same care they can for my problem, I’m probably better off going to bonnyville at this point. It’s exhausting. I’ve only heard bad things here and now I know why.

Bonnyville Hospital is better, probably the most racist Hospital around & the reason my mom passed away there, did do anything for her!

Brought my son today for his dental surgery that had been booked months prior. The schedule was at 10: 15AM we checked in at 10, and waited at the waiting area for an hour and half! So I don’t understand the schedule they provided if they won’t commit!

We finally made it to the ward, they brought a gown to dress up my son, checked his vital signs and made sure he was ok before the surgery. Once the check up was done we then waited for another hour or so. Until the ER manager came up to us and said they will reschedule the surgery due to an emergency patient the doctor needed to attend to. Wow! We understand the emergency scenario, but wasting people’s time is not a joke. We had to book time off work, my son had to be excused from class and the days of preparing him before the surgery all went to waste! Very unorganized.

The nurses are good however the new system for checking into the ER is a massive time waste took over an hour just to register

This place was amazing. I just had the work experience with pain in my life and the team looked after me with the great care and attention. I had a 14 hour stay and they made sure I was cared for at all times. The fact that people leave poor review is a lack of reflection of the situations Healthcare workers face in a day to day world. Please people, understand Healthcare works are amazing people who are doing the best they can.

Nurses and doctors are very ignorant. Better off driving to an outlying city for assistance than going to this joke of a hospital!

They were vary polite, and all around professional. First time I had to stay over night in a hospital, wasn’t the comfiest but they tried to make it as much as possible. 5 starts to the nurses who saved my equipment and clothes from being cut

Nurses are absolute sweethearts, but the doctors are horrible. Went into the ER because my mental health was getting bad and the triage nurse was so kind and understanding, another nurse also talked to me while I was in my room which helped a lot. The doctor, however, forced me to tell him my suicide plan and laughed a little bit and told me “it wouldn’t have worked if you went through with it”. I know this sounds made up, even I’m shocked it happened. I’ve heard the Bonnyville hospital is significantly better. Go literally anywhere besides here.

Worst hospital my family and I have ever been to the staff refuses to help or listen they misdiagnosed my daughter twice both times the staff refused to even physically check my child
Not to mention while supposedly all the rooms were full and all staff was bussy the nurses and doctors didn't leave there office conversations for an hour do not go here for anything you'll probably die before your checked

Terrible place to work and very bad management, site manager is racist and very toxic place to work. No job security even if you work so hard. Site manager is terrible and hard to deal with. Poor management and lazy manager.

Unprofessional and snobby! Don’t waste ur time here, and go to bonnyville instead! Nothing but negativity!

Nurses and staff at the ER assisted me well during my surgery and thank you very much to Dr. Baburam and staff that saved my cut and broken finger from being amputated. God bless and guide all of you always

Terrible bedside manner. Left me in a room for 12 hours and didn't tell me anything. Nurse who put my IV in, ripped off my bandage from the blood work without warning and then proceeded to jab me in both arms to find a vein. She was incredibly terrifying and called my veins "juicy". The doctor who was supposed to be taking care of me in the ER was brought into the room by what I assume was the head doctor and made him apologize for the horrendous treatment. Absolutely terrible place!

Very dirty hospital, takes MONTHS to see a DR. Wait times are extremely long, and when you get to actually make an appointment you have to wait HOURS anyways. Doctors/surgeons don't want to do their jobs. Do not waste your time and risk your health at coldlake hospital.

Had appointment for blood work, waited 30 min everyone who came in after me was seen and with more coming in gave up waiting.why make someone have an appt if it is pointless?

Lab: Ugh! So my req. Was faxed the day before to do fasting bloodwork First Thing A. M.before my appt the day after as ordered. I arrived 1/2h early because I'm pregnant and normally eat at 5am.ended up waiting 45 extra minutes on top of the wait for lab to open for the pile of other people WHO CAME AFTER ME just because my req.was faxed YESTERDAY. Oh on top of starving 2 more hours to complete my test.with diabetes!
***pretty please have a better system in place for people who intentionally arrive early because they're starving, especially those growing a very demanding little human being and also have to get back to work*** it's incredibly unfair that others have to wait just because registration and lab aren't on the same page and for people getting routine checks and saying they're bored having nothing else to get back to.
Update: 4 months later, no improvement. There should be a priority sequence instead of me being stuck here for 4h with a crying baby that i have to nurse in this filthy small space packed with sick people you guys are terrible.

ER is not trustworthy they missed two ectopic pregnancies for me and will treat like you're a problem if your tests appear* normal even though you're literally dying. I don't know how you miss 2 ectopic pregnancies is your radiologist competent? And to tell* me I was fine, make me feel crazy for having so much pain and vomiting they never even cared about. These people will make you wait 8h in painful positions and treat you like you're a problem even when another doctor sent you and you Don't Want To Be There. I had anaphylaxis another time too and said to the nurse I feel can't breathe, they just ignore you until it's too late. They operate like a joke, judge you instead of take seriously not professionals at all.

Came here for a CT scan from a distance away from Cold Lake. The people were friendly efficient and on time. Thank you for the exemplary care and kindness.

Upon entering and having the Karen at the door. Throwing a mask ate and I'm refusing to wear it as I'm an asthmatic and the federal government lifted mask mandates. She began to make a scene when I turned my back to her because it's a policy. First off policy's don't over throw laws. Second off your actions with screaming were unprofessional and uncalled for. Then to top it off the 5 hour waiting period in ER. Could have drove to Bonneville got treated and been home before finished at cold lake hospital.

This week i went two time for my kids, within 1hr i came out both times, with prescription, Dr Pinsloo and Dr Azam Khan, great service after long time

Walk-in clinic works only by phone (wich is fine) but everytime you call them there is a 5 min wait and then they hang out you. I've been trying to reach them for the pas 30 minutes without succes.
