Collicutt Centre

At the collicutt you can do anything really, from basketball to swimming they have it all and that is why I like it here at the collicutt center and I k ow that you will to.

The pool here is great. Very reasonable price for a family. The water is warm in the kiddy pool, would recommend.

The facilities of the recreation centre are very nice, but I am even more impressed with the staff! My kid’s swimming lessons have been led by Christian and he has been so professional, kind and fun to the group of preschool swimmers. I admire his patience with assessing and coaching the technical skills for such a young age and am glad the Collicut has competitive hiring practices to recruit the best talent around!

Everyone is really nice, even though I have only been to the ice arena, but everyone working in there is so nice, and they will take care of you when you fall very hard on the ice

Nice facilities we were in the fields for lacrosse and the grass wasn't cut so it was not great for playing

Consistently providing false information online. Short and rude reception, dirty locker rooms, and an all around unpleasant experience.

Pool said it was closing at 9pm, and we arrived at 4: 45 to find out it's operating on holiday hours.

You go online, and everything including their website says 9pm.

Wasted our time, gas, and lost our business.

Our family likes the collicutt for any indoor pool day, they should go for an outdoor pool too! It would be neat to have one too.

Does '' Not '' matter what generation, they are all the same - giving insults behind people back for appearance or character. (Zero Respect, against All)

Front desk people always kind.
But always full with capacity and hardly get a chance to use some places like badminton.
Wish we could get some rotations between or some systems needed.

Great place but lately there has been a crowd of kids at the back entrance known to spit on people. Was personally spit on, staff let me know its an occurring event with these kids

Be careful with playing certain sports in the main sports gym, person with a beard working the sports equipment will crucify you if he catches you playing anything besides volleyball, badminton, or basketball. Had the audacity to come up to my son’s face in a very confronting manner as if he was about to do harm. Could’ve just asked nicely for him and his friend not to play the sport they were playing which could do no harm to others, instead resulted to being a confrontational little child. Collicut should ensure their workers have proper social skills or it’ll drive your customers away. Oh and mind you, my son asked where it said on the rules that they were restricted to playing some sports and the guy had nothing to show for it.

Great facility if you’re mostly swimming or playing ball. The gym is kind of small but it’s nice and quiet.

Great place for the whole family! Whether you're swimming, skating, playing soccer, or doing gymnastics, its got something for everyone.

It's a great place I went swimming and then I went to the field house there's lots of stuff and it's a great place

We love going to the collicut! The pool is amazing! The waterside could use some maintenance though

Clean, we take our three children to the pool, ages 2-9, great for them, and easy lay out to keep track of them

The facility as a whole is very nice and quite spacious, with lots to do at any time. I personally don’t like how busy it always is, especially in the pool but they do have a salt water hot tub which is much more enjoyable to sit in than a chlorine hot tub. The new water slide is crazy fast and fun to ride down and the staff are friendly. Their gym is a little bit small but has enough to have a proper workout.

For bending over to the gov'. If people aren't allowed in then they shouldn't have to pay tax to support it

Went to go swim today with my grandkids from out of town and there was a female life guard didn’t get a name just know she was blonde with her hair on top of her head she seem to have a problem with my grandson him being 7 was told he had to have someone over 16 in the water at all times which at the time his dad was in the water and I was sitting and watching, there were a lot of kids under the age 7 not with an adult with them in the water so if we are going after 1 kid then go after them all then him and I went to the washroom I told him to go out with his dad while I went to the washroom just cause he didn’t go right to his dad the same blonde lifeguard made an issue once again. We went there Saturday night as well and seen lots of kids unattended and nothing was said to no one so if this place has rules then make it for everyone

Not too bad of a gym tbh, has most of the equipment you would need except for neiche workout things. Staff are nice but take their time. All around good place to go, whether to workout, practice sports, hang with friends or swim, would definitely recomend.

Was a great places until it bent the knee to this tyrannical government now they are about to goosestep for the government discriminating on a minority of the country because of personal medical information. This clearly isn’t for our health

Fantastic place, finally engineers are designing pools that have it all. What a time to be alive! The pool tiles are a little slippery but other than that it was a superb facility.

Great customer service, staff is friendly and helpful. Space is clean and not crowded Water was crisp and didn't smell too strong of chlorine.

My family before covid would go swim at the cullicut every weekend and then walk around and shop

We came for public swim and they had it closed. Yet there was people inside swimming already. Nothing was posted online saying it was closed and we couldn't get through when we called, before making trip down. Very frustrating need to have a better system in place when you want to close pool off to new people 1.5hr earlier then posted online.

Went to the water park can tell maintenance is lacking 75% of the water fountains no longer run massive cracks in concrete pillars holding up the water slides platform.

Love the swimming here. I do wish they would get mats for the shower rooms in the family change room. ‍️

Things like the lazy river, waves and large hot tub aren't open right now. Most staff are friendly, except the man checking people in, he was rude to the family ahead of my boyfriend and I, and then made us wait while checking everyone else in.

It's a nice looking structure, looks like it's built with the top knotch quality. There were people everywhere having fun times. There was a wasp now and then it bit me in my belly button then i tripped on a curb and smashed my head off a sign. Maybe nextime I'll make it all the way across the parking lot.

We have been coming here multiple times a week to play badminton and other things but just recently they have been on an absolute power trip and getting mad at us for absolutely everything. Having our bags “too close” to the gym stuff when NOBODY is on them what so ever. We didn’t have our stuff even touching them. Extremely rude as well, couldn’t just ask nicely.

Currently need to book time in advance to use the pool due to COVID-19. Pretty organized, not too crowded.

The staff is always so friendly and welcoming! This place is so much fun, great pools and recreation rooms, haven't been to the cafe in years but I'm sure it's still great.

Our family loves swimming here! Chang rooms are clean and tidy. Nice big hot tubs (but for covid hot tubs are closed due to gov.regulations).

Most times you're calls dont get answered.lot of the time the staff will talk to you if your under age and trying to do something

When the pool is open its lots of fun. Would recommend. The whole facility has a pool, gymnastics center, ice rink, field house, basketball court, and places to buy food and coffee.

I love the collicutt it has 2 water slides, lazy river, toddler/kids play area, fountain pool, and 2 hot tubs (1 has ramp for toddlers and kids). Great selection of pool floats and baby floats.

Brought our children here we were pleased that they had a family pass. The kids had a really great time

I mostly only use the gym and pool area. The gym itself is rather small with limited equipment. The best walking track in the city. The pool is good with a steam room and 2 hot tub. Would give it more stars but they recently changed their closing hours from 10pm to 9pm now. I liked it more when it was open later.

The facility itself is great, just don’t like the wasted time and money for all the janitors on shift. No need to have 4 -5 people on shift to clean the small upper area. One dusts, one brooms/mops, one vacuums, one wet mood. Really!

Just awesome, so fun and so many activities to do. Cool wave pool and river ride, just a great pool around. Cool Fieldhouse, great track. Good parking, easy to get in and out. Great access. Clean.

If those want to go swimming after dinner, they wont have enough time to enjoy swimming if your facility closes at 9pm everyday even on weekends. My friend and I want to go swimming after 6pm before by the time we get there and change we wont have enough time to swim at the end of the day. You guy's use to be open till 10pm.

Very good place to visit.good for the kids to spend the time.we can have lots of physical activities and good place for refreshments.

Great place to take the family. Wish it had a full sized pool but otherwize it is a great facility. Top notch.

Very poor management. I am extremely upset about how the staff at this facility deal with situations. Every time I come there’s always a negative experience. Very over priced compared to other places in red deer, and the customer service at this facility is very disappointing. I would not recommend coming here, and I most definitely will not be bringing my family here again.

Lessons spoiled swim time! Had we been notified we wouldn't have gone in. Waste if time and money.
So disappointed to have half the pool, the lazy river and no waves due to at least four classes going on that started within 5 minutes of our arrival.

Went for a swim with the family and all was going well until my girlfriends young cousin swam further than my arms reach for a split second, at which point a lifeguard named Kayla Evans completely blew her temper, raising her voice and telling us that we had to leave. Understanding that children are to be within arms reach, the child with was out of it for less than 5 seconds, and the life guards reaction was not only disrespectful but completely unprofessional. The Collicut centre is an amazing facility but should let go of employees who have no self control or respect for its patrons.

I love this place, it is so welcoming and warm hearted except there is a capacity for the pool and sometimes have to wait for people to leave.

The pool here is ok but it has been very crowded everytime we go. Therefore, we dont go here very often.

The largest multiplex in red deer that has swimming, soccer/baseball/lacrosse, gymnastics, an ice rink and gym for working out. Also offer private classes such as yoga etc. Parking is always an issue. The kids who hang out at the back smoking and doing goodness knows what else is kind of annoying and gross. Security is supposed to monitor this, but it's never ending. Decently priced for the activities.

It was an enjoyable toonie swim experience due to fewer people in the pool. (Mother's day and it was a gorgeous day)

A very modern rec centre with an incredible number of options for sports and activities. At times there are arguably too many teenagers loitering around. The centre is usually very clean and the staff friendly. The gym area could use more room and more equipment.
The pool is of course awesome fun but nowhere near accommodating for serious swimming, just lounging or playing around.
Very family friendly especially to younger children. The steam room is ok at best and definitely needs a refresh.

Not very happy right now, I appreciate the games are going on but to pay for a membership and not be able to use it due to it, not pleased at all.its bad enough that the track is cut down to half which is the only reason I come here and today is closed. I will not be renewing and will be seeking reimbursement.
I appreciate and glad that red deer is holding the games but I don't see the sense in the punishing every day paying patron.

I have been a regular user of the fitness facilities at the Collicutt Centre for over 3 years. Love all the things included in my monthly pass. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Really nice facility. First time going to use the pool. By far, between Rocky and Sylvan, one of the best pools to go! It’s perfect for younger kids!
