The worst customer service. The woman I spoke with checked my credit and said 'there' no way you'll ever get approved' 6 months later I got my mortgage through servus credit union. It's been 2 years since I've own my home. I would never recommend this company.

My fiance and I were trying to purchase a house, so we came here first. They did alright at getting back to you, but always seemed like they were just pushing us aside. After my realtor and I had tried twice over 2 different properties with them, they used the excuse that our credit wasn't high enough, even when I wanted to put 20% down to skip the insurer she said it wouldn't work. Which was a LIE! We got a more expensive house which was alot better shape and we went with Sevus Credit Union! Deal has been Done and took less than a couple weeks! I highly advise everyone to go to either servus credit union or RBC. These guys won't do anything but waste your time. Thank you, hope this helps others in the same boat as us.

I cannot say enough great things about Collin and his team. Initially I had worked with a broker with a little less experience and had some frustrating circumstances occur, which led me to Collin and his team. I am so happy that we decided to take the recommendation and get started. Originally Collin started on our application and then had Robyn work through all the stips which we were able to get to her efficiently to move ahead with our approval. Robyn was quick to respond, professional and worked around the clock to make this happen. Because of their hard work we are moving into our "dream home" in the next 30 days.

I had an asolutely incredible experience with David Niven. I got in touch with David earlier in the summer of 2021 about advice on renewing our mortgage early. I got clear, helpful and detailed information from David and told him I would reconnect with him when our mortgage comes up. I reconnected as soon as we got a renewal notice and David looked at what the lender was offering us to renew, turns out it was the best rate other than a shorter term option that he presented. We decided that we would rather lock in for a full five year term. David advised us to renew with the same lender, so we will be. Unfortunately for David there is no commission for him in this decision, and it blew my mind that he still spent so much time on us. David was honest and gave us the best advice, even if he didn't make anything off of us.
ANYONE looking for a mortgage broker should reach out to David. His responses were so fast, he uses clear language and he's so respectful.

Collin and his team went absolutely above and beyond to support my partner and I in our mortgage approval. We attempted to secure a mortgage in Alberta while still living in Ontario, and Collin did everything he could to support us. He provided us creative solutions and recommendations. Ultimately after several months of his support, we decided to wait until we moved in province. We reconnected with Collin after our move to Alberta, and he once again supported us to ultimately secure our approval. Our deal closed while Collin was out of office, and his colleague David stepped in providing exceptional coverage. I still can’t believe we secured our dream home with their help!

If I could give this place a zero out of five stars I would. The Collin Bruce team is very dishonest with their clients, Cara, the woman “helping” us caused us a lot of heartache, frustration and stress. There are ZERO incentives to go with Collin Bruce so just save yourself the headaches and don’t bother with this mortgage team. We had our credit pulled so many times for absolutely nothing, neither my fiancé or I have bad credit at all, even our realtor said he thought she was “dicking us around” he’s seen people with much less income and lower credit scores get approved no problem. If you’re a first time home buyer and looking for anything under $300K don’t bother with these people, you’ll get nowhere.
