BED BUGS! Bedbugs, disgusting! First time in my life ever being bitten by them - did my research, I have bites all over my body in rows, they feel like bad mosquito bites.it's the only hotel I stayed in on the trip so I know it's here, room 314. I called to let them know & front desk staff argued with me that it was something else, and didn't offer anything when I asked what they'd do once they checked and found them. I'm editing this since they posted a reply to say that they found nothing to add a picture - they are LIARS. DON'T STAY HERE.

Brought my wife and small children. Made reservations, told them I had 4 small kids. Booked for 2 queens, largest room.

Got to the location late. He said he wouldn't give us the room. Only I can book 2 rooms, and this will split up our family.

I said I am giving bad review, he said he doesn't care.

Slept in a double queen room, when we woke up we found a large dry urine stain to the comforter. I went downstairs to inform the manager, who arrived at the room minutes later. The manager persisted to gaslight my spouse and I saying that the large stain was an oil stain from food, like pizza. We asked him how he could tell the difference from just looking at the stain, he persisted to say that urine would have been washed out. The stain was approx 12” at its largest, and absolutely did not appear to be an oil stain. Both my spouse and I work in the healthcare industry and clean urine more often than we’d like. This stain, which we were GRACIOUSLY given an offer of 25% off the room without an apology, was absolutely a biohazard that should never have been there in the first place.

I got a room there in January 25th because I had a doctor's appointment the next day! I was itching all over I wondered why got up and my legs and arms were biten by something! I called the office they said we never had bed bugs! Wow I couldn't believe there respond! So I looked and bugs coming from the window! Lady in the front said she was sending up maintenance I waited 40 mins no one showed I left all biten up what a nightmare

Really nice stay here. Yes, the common areas could use a little maintenance love, but the rooms are clean, beds are comfy, staff is friendly and helpful. For the price, if you need to stay close to downtown or the southside you won't regret staying g here at all.

We stayed the week before Christmas. Won't ever stay again. They didn't program our card correctly, so I had to walk around to the front after parking to open up the back door for my family. Note it was in the -35 to -40 range. The mean clerk came flying to the back and told me to close the door. We had other issues with her. She obviously didn't like her job. Also, you have to share the pool with swimming lessons. Rooms were ok. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Stayed here for 4 nights, staff was very impatient and seemed bothered to help over the phone and in person, There are no open stairs cases to use only 2 sketchy elevators, house keeping was only certain days so my room wasn’t cleaned. Pool area was not sanitary. Won’t be coming here again

This hotel won't give my money back!

They made a deposit of 420 dollars on my debit card and simply refuse to return it.

Basically, the receptionist pre-authorized my debit card, then confirmed the transaction and then cancelled it by issuing a "purchase correction". He claimed that he did this because the hotel couldn't accept a debit card and asked for my credit card. I handed over the credit card and the deposit was made again on the credit card.

To date, almost 30 days after staying at the hotel, I haven't received the pre-authorized money on my debit card. It simply left my account and has not come back. I tried to contact the bank and they said to contact the hotel. I contacted the hotel and they simply said it was not their fault (but it is! Since they made a huge mistake by charging me twice).

Can I have my money back please? Can someone help me?

Reservation was made on wrong date. I was told I need to repay. Twice this has happened I highly do not recommend travellers going here.

Front desk agent Ericka is a wonderful ambassador of the Comfort Inn & Suites South and is the jewel of this hotel.

Ericka welcomed me with the most radiant smile and made me feel like family with her friendly outgoing demeanor. She went above and beyond to accommodate me to ensure I have the best stay.

I really appreciate her acknowledging me as a platinum member and giving me a welcome gift. So many front desk employees don't care to do that anymore these days.

My warm was large, clean, and homely. The pool area is a very nice touch for families. The gym leaves much to be desired.

Overall, excellent stay!

OMG. Your reply is a joke! Saying that I’m basically a liar because you couldn’t see where she cut her hand even though I produced numerous photos of how awful it is there! Telling me I should have dealt with it while I was there.tell your staff to answer the phone! Get a grip. Your compensation of $15 was almost an insult! I wish people could see the photos I have posted with this review so they could see how disgusting it was.

If I could give a negative star I would! We stayed at your hotel for one night. We stayed on floor three, there was holes in the ceiling, drywall or something from the ceiling all over the floor, when we got to our room our key didn't work, I had to go back down to the front desk for a new one. Within 5 minutes of being there my daughter sliced her finger on the freezer in the fridge. After tending to her wound, I noticed the freezer was dirty and had mold in it. Which made me worry that she could get sick. I talked to 811. I tried calling down to the main desk but there was no answer. We decided to rent a couple movies in which they skipped numerous times. For $15 a movie I expected better. I connected the wifi to my phone and it was awful, it wouldn't load things properly and when it did, it was extremely slow. There was also small pieces of plastic left for my daughter to potentially choke on. For a room that I paid almost $150 for, for one night I am extremely disappointed in our stay. I emailed to complain to be told they can offer a 20% discount. That doesn’t even cover the cost of the movies that didn’t work. Told me I could have moved to a different room, well your staff would have to answer the phone to do that! I gave them the chance to rectify but they didn’t. We will never stay here again and I will make sure all my friends and family know how disgusting this was and to not stay here whenever they visit Calgary.

Stayed here for 1 night. As I arrived from the airport at 11: 30pm I called the hotel to ask for the shuttle. He arrived after 20 mins and the ride was around 20 minutes also. Check in and check out went very smoothly. The rooms were good for what we paid for. They were not very soundproof, we could hear the people in the next room. Breakfast was included, there was eggs, sausage, toast, muffin and waffles and more. The pastries and waffles were pretty good. Overall things went smoothly and the service was good.

On Friday August 12 we checked into the two rooms we had booked online. The lady that checked us in was absolutely wonderful.
Overnight at around 1am, the room my daughter was in with her boyfriend and two children under the age of 2 were all awakened by someone opening their room door. The person had a key card which opened their door but thankfully my daughter had latched the inside lock so full access was stopped.
My daughter's boyfriend immediately got up and went to the front desk to ask why that happened. He was told "glitch in the system, sorry I hope it didn't wake you up".
I would really like to know how this breach of safety, security and privacy occurred. "A glitch in the system" is not a reasonable answer. I have spoken with two front desk ladies since this happened, both wonderful women, very kind and lovely, they just weren't sure what to do and suggested I email the manager.
Based off other reviews, you can guess that he hasn't even tried to reply to me. I don't want money back, just an answer to how this occurred and an apology. This manager "Raj" is not a very good one. Quite cowardly to ignore issues and hope they just go away.

The carpets in both rooms were absolutely disgusting.
Breakfast was good.
The kids enjoyed the pool.

We paid almost $200 for one night, when we got to our room the key wouldn’t work, we went back down & the lady at the desk got mad at us telling us we must have put it on our phones to deactivate it, we had no idea that even would happen, still no reason to get angry, there was no water in the vending machines, and nobody at the front desk, definitely feels like a waste of money! Will not come back.

The overall staying was okay, breakfast was garbage! We went for breakfast at 9 am: no fruits, no eggs, no waffle, no coffee, juice taste worst! Only good food was cereal but no milk! Poor management! Table was dirty! Will never stay there and paid 210 dollars!

You have to give a huge kudos to Mr. Gotham, Mr. Nick, and the wonderful Miss Erica for welcoming me to the Comfort Inn on McCloud trail with almost no notice. They provided amazing accommodations with a great breakfast and an amazing price to boot, like I said it was super short notice and these guys were on point. The beds are beyond cushy and the independent a/c in the rooms make me wanna live no other way, its all top nop notch. Would highly recommend my friends and family stay at this location, if you have a connection to Calgary or need a spot to crash, you definitely want to stop here for rest.

Honestly not a real 5* hotel. BUT The staff was excellent and the room clean. They are 5 star close to the DR we use in Calgary. Perfect inexpensive hotel for a quick stop, sleep and keep moving.

Not so great. Will avoid on future visits. Loud traffic noise most of the night. Only one (very busy) elevator operating. Stairs to second floor only. Don't try the other stair wells (looking for exercise). Miss the small black sign (advising no exit) & you're trapped.

Tried to share my fun stairwell adventure but desk staff really just wanted me to go away.

Bathroom renovated with slip & slid tub. Tub not draining well which might account for the slick tub floor.

Dumb lay-out with tiny breakfast room. If it's not super crowded try the mystery eggs & meat patties.

Only important fault is that the coffee (in the room or at the desk) was really horrible. First free ADAGIO pods are nasty. But you can buy good stuff at the desk according to the signage.

I have observed some similar patterns in previous reviews; poor service and room quality seems consistently reported. My experience is similar:
1. Hotel rooms are in need of updating.
2. Front desk staff were not friendly or welcoming - sensed a tone of indifference.
3. Cost of a one night stay for 1 bed and 2 people is overpriced at over $200.
Believe the low reviews and stay somewhere else. There are plenty of clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced hotels to stay in Calgary.

Overall the stay was good. The breakfast was tasty, cereal, muffins, waffles, eggs and sausage, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee. The rooms were a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable. I personally found the check in and out staff to be on the rude and unpersonable side. The pool and waterslide was lots of fun. The worst part about our stay was the hot tub. It opened at 9 and we were there at 9: 10. My husband sat in the hot tub for about 10 minutes, he got out and his SAXX swim trunks were fully bleached except where he was sitting on his butt. He smelled so strong of pure bleach, not chlorine. When I addressed this at the front desk she told me I must not have bought proper swim wear for hot tubs, false cause we have a hot tub ourselves and never had this problem.

Review is more like 3.5 stars.

Rooms here were really nice, however the shower drain was plugged up so you were showering in your own filth. Told them about it on our check out since we were only there for a few days and wasn’t worth them calling a plumber over during our stay. I hope they get it resolved.

I wish they had a water/coffee station that was available 24/7 but they only provide it during certain hours.

The breakfast is included and is actually pretty decent. They also only have 2 elevators which are extremely slow and LOUD. Our room was located right next to them and I could hear them going up and down through the walls. Need to check that out because some of the noises I heard did not sound very good.

If I could give zero star I would. Stayed here for a gymnastics event. We booked 12 rooms. I knew the area wasn't great, but expected, based on pictures and reviews, that the hotel would be decent. Nope. Wrong. 6 of the rooms, so 12 beds, had blood and bodily fluid stains on the sheets/blankets. I had to dig through the laundry room because only the front desk person was working. MULTIPLE "clean" sheets had blood, one the size of a watermelon. I had to strip the beds and change the sheets. It was disgusting. The manager wouldn't speak to us but apparently said "we checked in at 4 so we should have notified them of a problem at that point". Sorry but who checks their bed the second they get to a hotel, especially when we checked in and quickly left for supper. The elevators didn't work properly. The stairwell is locked but no signs saying that so kids got locked in the stairwell. The "breakfast" was horrible. The hotel was hot and stuffy and under renovations which was not advertised. We asked for a refund or discount and were denied. Luckily we were able to cancel our second night and found a much MUCH better hotel. We told them what happened and the hotel manager was mortified at our experience. Utterly disgusting, revolting hotel. Shameful that the manager allows it to be in such condition and then is so ride and disrespectful to us. Sorry the kids didn't want to sleep on someone else's blood and fluids. And any argument or comments by the hotel management in response to this, good luck, I have pictures to prove how disgusting your hotel is.

My family and I stayed here for a hockey game over the weekend. The place was close to the stadium and nice for the price we paid. We had some problems with the TV when we got back but Niko fixed it promptly, which was awesome. Great staff and experience.

The suite was relatively dirty, sweat stained pillows and sheets. Hair was found under the sheets when we pulled them back on the main bed. The fold out couch sheets were not made up and had the same mysterious long black hairs & stains. No utensils in the kitchenette, half used toilet paper. The room was a disappointment. The pool was cloudy and chunks of hair found around the spa deck.

Other then the cleanliness throughout the building the front end staff was kind and respectful. Unfortunately our experience was less then satisfactory.

One of the pillowcases and the comforter were quite dirty. This was being discussed with staff by another group that they had the same issue in multiple rooms. The elevator was extremely loud (my room was at least another room away and I could still hear it) and one out of two were broken. The stairs only went to the second floor so you had no choice but to wait for the elevator. This was all mentioned at checkout with little acknowledgment. Breakfast was a normal hotel buffet.

To the unprofessional manager at the 2 star hotel, we tried to check out the second night and leave and we were told we would be charged for the second night if we left because of the time. That is why we stayed at the dump hotel unfortunately for the second night.

I wasnt given the right and proper customer service that everyone deserves. Nico the front desk was rude, made me think he didnt like his job. But regardless staff must stay professional. We dnt pay for just any service but rather paying for the best and i hope next time this guy would know how be one. Its also not safe for lone woman travellers.

I had tickets to attend a concert across the street at a place called "Back Alley". Prior to the event, the main act had to cancel due to COVID, so the entire event was rescheduled. As soon as this happened, I contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation, as I no longer had any reason to go to Calgary. When I initially contacted the hotel, the manager was not on site, but I explained the situation, and that the event had been cancelled due to COVID, so I was hoping I could get a refund for my reservation. The person at the front desk notified me that it shouldn't be a problem, but the manager has to make that decision, so they would leave a note for the manager to contact me. Days went by and I was not contacted, so I called them again. The manager clearly had not recieved any note or had no intention of contacting me about the cancellation. They did not document my request to cancel multiple days before the reservation at all. I had been in contact with Expedia as that is who I had booked the reservation through, and they notified me that it is up to the hotel to provide a refund. I even had Expedia contact the hotel and request a refund for me prior to the reservation. I have a copy of the email provided to me by Expedia and the date it was sent on. The manager could not be reasoned with and outright refused to offer me any kind of refund whatsoever. This hotel lied about not receiving a cancellation request prior to the reservation. I strongly recommend avoiding any kind of booking with the hotel as the manager quite clearly does not care about customers or the hotel reputation. 0/10.

I stayed there for 2 weeks while I was looking for a place to live in Calgary. It is a small hotel, pretty quiet with a typical American atmosphere. Room was nice (big bed, TV, WiFi and modern bathroom), staff was very kind and welcoming. There is always someone at the reception who will do his best to help you.

Also, thanks to C-Train and the bus route 10 located nearly, it is easy and fast to reach the city center if you don’t have a car.

I really enjoyed my stay, thank you for that!

We have booked 2 rooms, we have requested
Late chexk in around 3 am and late check out at 4 pm while booking this rooms, Everything was done we booked the room got check in, now if we want to check out at 4pm we have to pay extra. Rediculous Customer Service.
I won't recommend. Choice Group needs to step up and do better.

Choice Hotel CDG Paris airport is a two star motel at best. The room is about 140 square feet and a window that opened for fresh air or equivalent to an inside cabin on a cruise ship with no sitting area except a chair and desk by the window. Expect a basic hostel room and you will not be disappointed.

The cost makes up for the free shuttle service for Charles De Gaulle airport.

Our room had two twin beds and an electric kettle with two tea bags, cups and two small tubes of coffee. The shower had wall mounted shower gel and sink had a wall mounted hand wash soap dispenser.

The hallway carpet was well worn and dirty from lots of foot traffic.

A microwave is supplied and located by the front desk and the restaurant on the main floor was closed for breakfast perhaps due to the COVID19 pandemic for our March 2020 overnight trip.

Disappointed that I did not receive any points from this Choice Hotel location which is a first.

Stayed here on NYE 2021/22.
Nice hotel room. Check in was easy. Water slide, pool and hot tub were great.
The only bummer was that breakfast was in bag. Surprise! You get a muffin, apple juice and an orange. Blah!

An NYE experience made much easier. We had a comfortable room that was clean and close to the bar that we were going to ring in 2022. The decor is cozy and common. Sometimes that is a good thing. With the cold weather here in Calgary, sometimes all you want is a warm and cozy place to rest.

However in this case. We wanted to enjoy the pool and hot tub pre-party style. This we did. They are very careful with covid-protocol so we were not worried. We showed that we were okay to enter the pool and luckily we made the acquantance of an interesting group of people. That waterslide was so awesome! We had a blast flying on that thing over and over. The water in the pool was nice and warm (perfect for winter). Then there is that hot tub (even more perfect for this weather). I melts every muscle in your body. It's the only way to spend a cold day Next time, we will spend a whole day there as opposed to a couple of hours.

The people working there are helpful and put customer safety above all else. They let us know the times to get our complementary breakfast (a juice, muffin, and orange) and can eat that in our rooms. Its a nice thing. They are also adament out people wearing their masks, checking your vaccination to make for a safe swim, and making sure the place is above spotless. Also if you ever need help, these people are willing to help anyone in need to make their stay comfortable.

The only problems we had were the channels. They didn't really give us any options. In fact they were mediocre. If we wanted to watch something interesting or just listen to music, we had to pay for it. We wanted to use one of our phones to place music on the TV but that wouldn't work either. So that was a bit disappointing.

The other thing is, that I wish they would let us have more options for breakfast because everyone gets the same kind of muffin, fruit, and juice. Although delicious, my friend hated all of what she got. It's a shame.

Still the Comfort Inn gave us just as it's name provides. We had a good night and a pleasant experience. Next time when we are in the neighborhood, we will stay again.

Do no clean rooms. Shower did not get hot. Phone did not work so could not phone to front desk. It is right across the street from a night club so police sirens going off all night. Front desk people are not friendly. Would not give late checkout. I would not recommend staying here.

It was great because I ignored the unappealing very bland looking facade and ventured into the lobby to inquire about a room for three nights.

It was great because the front desk clerk gladly took me up to show me the perfect room.

During our three nights, the front desk staff were all very professionally attired, cleaning staff were seen keeping up with Covid-19 protocols, housekeeping staff were helpful with our one request (and understandably were not providing daily maid service, which we always decline anyways.)

We were pleasantly surprised with all aspects of our stay. Room was spotless and very quiet; bagged breakfast was adequate with a fruit, juice and muffin; location was perfect (huge nature park two blocks west of hotel; huge mall was six blocks away) and parking was free and plentiful.

We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Calgary. Thank you Comfort Inn.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Save your money!
Even after having a shower I was still itchy and felt gross, our bedding looked like they allowed a small child to shred it with scissor before putting it on. There was hair on the ceiling in the shower that was not ours. We didn't even have enough towels for the 3 people in our room to shower. The front desk staff when checking in were not friendly. There compensation was insulting.

You get what you pay for really. Found an adult toy in the pull out couch, but the front desk worker dealt with the situation immediately and switched us to a new room. There is no soundproofing between the hall and the room, you can hear every conversation as you walk down the hall. This also means that if anyone is noisy in the hall, you can hear them loud and clear. Had a room down the hall make excessive noise for almost an hour after midnight, took the front desk worker 20 minutes to come see what was going on after being notified (conveniently after they left. Came back after 2am and were just as noisy).

Fitness room has dumbbells, an adjustable bench, a treadmill, and an out of order stationary bike. Pool area is grungy but still useable. Hot tub and water slide are nice enough. Staff were all friendly, linens and room were reasonably clean.

Good hotel for a day or two. For 130$ per night price point we expect a bit more. There is pool and hot tub from 9am to 9pm. Better if it goes from 7am to 11pm on summer nights. AC works and weather controlling is wonderful. Receiptionist is kind and not rude. Bedding was damaged. Duet had a big patch. Floors are 4 out of 10 stars, since carpet is dirty and not good as walls. Pillows were awesome. There is no water heater/tea bags or any water bottles. Shampoo and soap size has gone down. Location is good, but I think the other location near air port is more convieniant since its close to many shops and retailers. Most of all the deal breaker was the breakfast. Its not what I used to experience at this hotel chain. Looks like they have blame that on covid. The ready to go bag is not at all good continental breakfast. I think if you pay more than 85$ for this, its bit too high.

Based on the information provided includes "free continental HOT breakfast". Even upon check-in & receiving our receipt it says this on the back but we never get that! The pool water was not clean and was very cloudy. The room was not vacuumed.

This is the most noisy hotel i have ever stayed in.children running through the halls at all hours of the night, people partying next door and loud noises coming from above.complained 3 times and nothing came of it.would not recommend staying here, and won’t be back again

If you love listening to kids run wild all night, slamming and knocking on doors and yelling at eachother, this is the place for you! No rules at this hotel, anything goes! We would have been better off sleeping in our car in the Walmart parking lot.

Do not stay here. The only good thing that they offer is the pool and waterslide. Even then it's only a 30 min time slot. We've dealt with 3 different customer agents during our stay and all we're unfriendly and not helpful. The duvet had pee stains on them and they didn't have an extra so we had to sleep without one. The people above us was so loud from 10PM-2AM and we complained 4 times before they moved them. The breakfast bad only contained a muffin, a banana, and a juice box. They would not give us a refund or any compensation other than a discount on our next stay but we would NOT stay there again.

Great clean hotel and room, had mini fridge and microwave in double Queen room, no coffee machine which could be due to covid, staff was great.
During covid so breakfast was just muffin fruit juice and coffee; however this hotel is close to a A&W, tims and McDonald.

Excellent price and good location. Very clean and staff was super friendly. Didn't have a chance to have breakfast there as we had other commitments but it looked wonderful and had a good selection. Pool was clean and slide was fun even for adults. Will definately stay here again when we come to the city.

This hotel was better than we expected.

We have stayed at plenty of different hotels around the city before and this one was quite good.

The room seemed like they were renovated recently and was almost fully functional. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet on the parking lot side. It was nice seeing USB ports, visible outlets and modern looking lights. The lady helping with the breakfast was very friendly and helped us with the waffle machine because my waffle got stuck.

There were parts of the room where it showed it's age from example the picture of the closet area looked untouched from the original design. Issues we had with the room was that the water from the sink had a weird smell to it, the ice machine was out of order and that all 4 USB ports were broken. Those problems are the reason why I gave this hotel a 3 star rating instead of 4 stars.

I checked into the comfort inn from a MacLeod trail, I found the warm smell colita’s rising up though the air to be quite pleasant. Lodging had a very nice ambience with shimmering light from the highway. I was greeted by a nice lady and the sound of the mission bell, she created a lovely ambience as she guided me to the room using a candle which was different but appreciated. I found it to be a lovely place.
I also noticed at the hotel there was a strange amount of young men gathering around a Mercedes bends and subsequently dancing in the courtyard around back. I am not sure if this is a nightly occurrence there was a rather sweet sweaty odor around hopefully its not a frequent occurrence at inn
The Comfort inn on macloed does have room service provided by a restaurant referred to as the captain they did not sell my preferred wine mentioning they have not carried that spirit since 1969. Which seems quite dated to not have reordered but such is life I suppose. It was however quite unfortunate though as I was woken up in the middle of the night as the hotel was greeting guests.
The rooms were quite nice, with mirrors on the ceiling as well as pink Champagne on ice. I noticed that one of the room was referred to as “The masters chambers” I believe this is some sort of large suite or vip room there was quite a lot of noise coming from this room with a large amount of catering on standby I could hear quite a bit of noise as is someone was stabbing a plate or something.
The Comfort inn on macloed can be a bit confusing to leave I found I was often running to find the door unable to, it seems you can check out but you can never leave.

Room size is great. Service was great.breakfast was great, but.the air conditioning was very loud and the pillows are, well I'm not sure what they are made of. Chunks of foam? Very uncomfortable! Bring your own pillow!

Very disappointed with this hotel. I was able to use a debit/credit card to book a room, but not to pay for it once we arrived. Last minute, we were told "too bad", "without a credit card, find somewhere else. " Apparently, it is too much work to refund a deposit back onto a debit card, although I have done this countless times myself, and the longest it ever took was 1 minute, and that was because the customer forgot to enter their pin. I came to Calgary to get a surgery, and having to scramble to find a hotel at the last minute was not helpful. Perhaps they were simply upset that I pulled them away from hiding in the adjoining room, you know, after I had to stand at the desk for five minutes before he would acknowledge me. I know he saw me enter, he looked right in my eyes while he was standing in the adjoining room to the lobby.
Absolutely disappointed and will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. Makes no sense that my money is good enough to use on their website, but in person, it is too much work for them to push a couple buttons.

Regardless of your policy, debit pays the same as credit, especially when your system accepts debit online. It is terrible practice to ensure a family they have somewhere to sleep, then when they arrive from out of town, tell them too bad. Very poor practice, very poor attitude. If you can not accept it, then don't accept it on your website. You should also add this information to your website and booking screen, so that no one else is left stranded.

Booked this room online before driving 7+ hours, they charged my card, we got to the hotel and they refused to let us in even though they had taken my money as we do not own a credit card, refused to take a visa debit and had no answers when I asked why they let people book with them if they’re going to turn them away for not owning a credit card. I offered to put down a deposit and the receptionist turned us away again, then said that they wouldn’t even refund us that we have to go and contact someone else to get our booking cancelled and refunded. We came back with a credit card from a relative and offered to give the phone to the receptionist, which she then said no again and decided to tell us after the fact that we needed photos of the credit card and the owners license when we aren’t even from Alberta. Horrible service, the receptionist was awful and had no emotion or sympathy and told us to go to a motel instead. Never ever going back here.

Very clean hotel, pool is small but the slide is great for kids. Breakfast is fairly typical, you definitely have enough choices to get a good breakfast in.

Of course this isnt a celebrity kind of hotel, however i give them 5 stars for their amazing customer service. When i came to check in the reception was already prepping for me to arrive so it was very fast. The employees offered various services that they didnt really have to do such as ordering things to my room (I am from ottawa and have no idea where anything is here and also have high anxiety talking to strangers). The bed is comfy, the TV is bigger than mine at home, the wifi is the better than mine at home.from the pool to the rooms to the staff service I would always recommend comfort inn and suites just from this first experience.

This is where you want to stay in Calgary! Reasonably priced room, clean and comfortable but more than that, well appointed. The staff are top notch! Talk about people who want to get to yes for you. From reserving rooms, rearranging reservations, check in, and special requests they were there to help. Oh and the breakfast! Yum!

The good:
- the pool was very clean and well-maintained;
- the hallways were quiet;
- the breakfast was generous;
The bad:
- the pool would not be suitable for large numbers of people; its small size leaves also creates some risk of swimmers being hit by sliders as they come down the slide;
- the amount of traffic noise during the night was unacceptable by my standards.

I really have to rate this hotel. People needs to know about how great this place is. Please do not doubt, book it. I called at last mn from airport to book room. This is what I experienced: 1-BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE & HIGHT QUALITY BLANKETS & PILLOW
2- ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN
3-TEMPERATURE WAS GREAT &ENJOYABLE
4- GREAT CHOICE FOR BREAKFAST&FRIENDLY SERVICE
5-LOCATION IS VERY GOOD. If you don't want to take a taxi from airport take the bus 300 and transit to the bus 10 which will drop you at the entry door of the hotel. UBBER, TAXI, TRANSIT all great and cheap from the hotel. I won't pay he extra money for what other hotel around is asking. Try this hotel, I was agreably surprised, reason why I am taking time to make a honest review.
All the staff are comitted to make your stay great. Keep the good work up. Will be one of my favorite hotel from now.

Today I was turned away because I didnt have a credit card to use for a room. Offered cash for a deposit still no. When on God's green earth has plastic override cash. Very sad customer service. Great job Ramada just down the road. You now have a new customer.

My client from out of town stayed here and spoke very highly of it. The location is extremely convenient only a few minutes to downtown or to Glenmore Trail. There is plenty of free parking and apparently right now during the Fall if you stay twice you get one night free.

The room was very clean and well laid out. And having multiple elevators keeps the wait down to go up or down.
There is a WATER SLIDE and POOL as well as a HOT TUB too to relax with.

When you enter the staff are truly friendly and helpful. Melissa was running the front counter and did not let anything go unnoticed.

My client left their phone plugged in somewhere in the lobby and was in a panic that they had lost their phone. 10 minutes after having left the hotel, Melissa had already found the phone and was keeping it safely stored behind the counter.
Even upon returning from watching a hockey game Melissa was all smiles and returned the phone to my client without having to be asked. She even looked up a place that delivered alcohol to the room for my client too!

I am truly impressed about how excited my client is about this hotel. Who knew that you don't have to go to a 4 star hotel to get 4 star treatment? !

Judging by how my client was treated I would have no hesitation in having other clients stay here too.

Breakfast was good. Bed had a uncomfortable indent, tub wouldn’t drain and fridge froze on every setting, plus air conditioner leaked. Wouldn’t stay again. Very disappointed.

The room didn't have proper curtains to block out light from outside, only sheer see through curtains which is a privacy concern as well. Also not very helpful if you are there for work and needing to sleep as it lets in a lot of light. The noise isn't great for sleeping either. I was put in a room that had a door connecting it to the room next door and could hear the tv/people talking clearly next door as if they were in my room.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a family trip to Calgary. The hotel was good value for what we needed and the central location was convenient. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and water slide however, there is no lifeguard on duty and some parents allowed their children to go swimming unsupervised which led to dangerous sliding behaviour. Parental supervision should be enforced by the hotel! Also, the “swimming” pool is tiny so if people are using the water slide you need to stay close to the edges or you get hit when they come flying out of the slide. The pool was quickly crowded if 2+ families were using the pool. Breakfast was great. There was a good selection of hot food and kids loved making their own waffles. The older woman tending the buffet did a FANTASTIC job of keeping everything well stocked and clean. Our room was small but had everything we needed. Wifi worked and beds were comfy. Water pressure in the shower was pretty lame though. I have long hair so it took FOREVER to rinse my shampoo out. I was disappointed by this hotel’s lack of environmental awareness. Everything was disposable and there wasn’t a recycling bin in sight. We might stay here again if on a family trip but would choose a different hotel if it were just my husband and I.
