New to Canada and was in the market for a new car, visited a Chevrolet dealership that wasted one week of my time and had absolutely nothing to offer. I then reached out to Competition Chevrolet, spoke to reception and Lon gave me a call back within an hour. It was smooth sailing from there onwards. He was very polite and helpful, ensuring i got the cheapest price i had seen on that car model. I then spoke to Katie at Finance, who also ensured I got finance at a reasonable rate, as opposed to the lease option, the other dealership tried shoving down my throat because I had a limited credit history.
All I can say is Lon and Katie were absolutely brilliant, and the fact that everything was wrapped up under 48 hours considering the circumstances made it even more impressive, while ensuring i got the necessary discount as a newcomer. They also respected my time and handled everything via phone and email until it was time to pick up the car. This is how service delivery should be done.
Competition Chevrolet is honestly not a normal dealership, it's a easy, relaxed, kick back place with a friendly atmosphere where you are comfortable to just hang out, have a coffee, and enjoy your time. I first came to them in 2018 where I bought my new 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and with having such a great experience I decided to go straight back to them without shopping around for my new 2023 Malibu which again was a super easy, relaxed, and friendly experience. Definitely will be a long term customer and highly recommended to anyone looking for their future vehicle needs!
Just bought a used 2022 silverado from these guys. Tim was an awesome salesman and had all the information I needed also Daniel in finance was awesome and explained everything in a really good matter and made it understandable. Would highly recommend competition chevy!

So far every experience I've had has been excellent! Even on vehicles that i haven't bought there. They get my vehicles in very fast, even when they are busy and do the work in a fast professional manner. The service staff is knowledgeable and friendly and are a joy to talk with. I currently have a vehicle being worked on as we speak and totally expect the same great service. I've been recommending them to everyone i talk with and have no reason to stop now. I received an anniversary card in the mail from when we bought our truck here. In the card was an offer for a free oil change. I called three times and was transferred to the service desk with no one picking up. The person who answered the phone suggested I leave a message and someone would surely call me back.here we are 4 days later and not a word from anyone. Yeah I'll pay for an oil change somewhere else.
Experience with the service dept.started well until I went to pick my truck up. Drove though paint all up the side of the vehicle, they were nice enough to detail and remove the paint. Also a lovely note left on my back window that wasn’t admitted to. I understand my opinion on my vehicle may offend some people but I don’t need “professional” technicians leaving their opinion on my vehicle. Hoping if I ever need to go back they have some more respect for customer vehicles. Aswell the transmission issues I went in for are still occurring. Very mixed emotions about competition Chev.
THE Worst! Dealership in Canada and that is also coming from GM customer service GM Toronto. Tom Ivingston Manager is the, biggest Lier on the Planet. Jennifer is even worse!
I had originally written a poor review based on a poor experience. Not only was this swiftly dealt with from the Service Manager Trina, but she went above and beyond to take care of a potential lost customer. This was a master class in customer service and will make me come back.
I had last bought a car from Competition back in 2003. Now when I decided to purchase another vehicle I thought I'd check them out again. Richard Flannigan helped me find a truck that suited my needs and price range. No pressure and really enjoyed the experience. Glad I went back. Enjoying my ride and couldn't be happier.
