Love this beautiful park with plenty of benches, bridges, tunnels and paved pathways. We discovered that in the summer you can even BBQ in a selected section which was a pleasant surprise. We had so much fun biking and e-scootering. The tree lined fall colours of the leaves on the ground and above was splendid. View of the creek and pond against the fall colours and snow which fell briefly for 10mins was gorgeous. Lots of people were out enjoying the long weekend. Lots of free parking. A must visit within the city.
It's a nice park. I enjoy walking. During the tour you can see many ducks, squirrels, birds. There are also many picnic spaces. My cat also enjoys walking. It's a very quiet place
The park looks nice, but I am specifically talking about the playground and updating everyone that the big silver slide you may have seen in pictures for this park is currently not there as of 11/10/21. See my pictures. It is under repair. Just a warning in case you were going to this park for the playground
First time to this park for a family photo shoot. Did a tour taking photos and they turned out great. Enough parking for the vaolume of people around. Saw a few bluejays sqwauking in a tree but kept hiding from my camera. Maybe next time.
Beautiful park in the middle of the city! Lots of old growth trees! The colors of fall and falling leaves covering the ground.lots of walking paths and picturesque areas. Worth a visit with the whole family.
Spacious and peaceful park amidst the NW part of Calgary. Easily accessible and Kid friendly. The beautiful part is that you can get both active as well as quiet areas within the park. Good for landscape as well as nature photography and always serene as a delightful escape from busy city life!
This Hass to be one of the most beautiful park in all of the city of Calgary. It is a bit different from other park in the sense that it is extremely green and wise. At least that’s how it feels when you first get there. But as soon as you start exploring and discovering the park in more depth, you realize that he has so many little corner and little places that you have to discover. Great place to go and spend time with the family or even if you want some solitude.
Its a great park thats utilized by a lot of individuals and families, either dog walking, walking, or by joggers. The park is well kept with plenty of green spaces that makes you forget you are in the city. Plus there are lots of benches and picnic sites to use, perfect for a day outing.
Beautiful park in NW Calgary that starts around 6th street and 30th Ave and winds its way over to 14th Street. There is a wonderful little stream that it follows and tunnels that lead you under the major streets. Great place to walk around!
Wonderful place to take the family to and explore the great outdoors, within city limits this area provides picture perfect scenery for family outings and other spectacular events such as graduation and other ceremonies. Well-maintained and looked after by the city this little green oasis within the city limits is a perfect place to visit.
Confederation Park straddles 10th Street NW and is a great place to walk, run, bike, and play. Features in this park include paved pathways, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a wetland, playgrounds, and picnic areas. There is a pedestrian tunnel under 10 St for traffic-free access to both sides of the park. A public washroom is located in the North section in the Parks building by one of the ball diamonds.
Lay in the grass. Walk around the paths. Go through a tunnel. Sit on the benches. Or slide down the slopes with a sled in winter. There’s lots of outdoor fun to be had!
This is a beautiful park located in NW Calgary. It's a great place to ride your bike, go for a long walk, or to picnic. There is a playground structure on the east side of the park and million dollar houses through the neighborhood. It's a great way to spend the day without having to venture too far. Highly recommended!
It's beautifully designed and maintained by the city's cemetery place. There is a unique playground with a tunnel slide, a great fun and attraction for kids! The only problem is that the creek running through the park is obviously polluted, smelly and little muddy, and some plastic garbage.
We've frequented Confederation Park for many years. The curves and bends of the paths, whimiscally lead you through woods, groves and creekbeds with majesty accompanying you with every step. A pleasure to stroll anytime of the year.
Let me tell you about the park. It was cold, kinda snowy and boy howdy were there ever lots of old people walking dogs. In general, beautiful quiet and large for lots of adventuring fun! Also the old people with dogs thing.
This park is beautiful. The paths are well maintained and the spaces are fun and different throughout. Great for walking, biking, playing, picnicking, and sports.
Wonderfully picturesque park. So much so that you are almost guaranteed to see at least 10 photoshoots happening on a fall day. The birds here are dope.
Awesome park for bike riding, baseball and walking. Ducks and coots are usually at the pond. Please click on the like button if this review was useful. Thanks!
It is a lovely park, and it's creation is a nice story of neighbourhoods working together.
There is a lovely stream running down the middle, which was a nice place to stop for a break, and the dog could get a drink. There are lots of picnic table around, many of them with BBQs. There are drinking fountains scattered about if you forgot to bring water, and at least one of them had a low dog fountain too.
My only disappointment was that there is no designated off-leash area. But there are plenty of other off-leash parks in the area so this is a minor complaint.
A peaceful spot to lay on the grass and watch the clouds. Nice to see lots of families and groups enjoying a meal and/or just visiting. There is quite the network of paved walkways. Lovely place for a short or long stroll, depending on your mood.
Massive park with great views. Perfect for a walk, jog, bike ride or a picnic as there are tables & "BBQ's" (wood burning grills). One of the nicer parks in Calgary with activities to do
A very nice scenic walk even in the winter. Parking was ample and the under-road crossings were good to get to the next section of the park. About a 4-5km walk around the tracks with over the creek bridges. Lots of the usual squirrels and birds. There is a near by ice rink to play hockey as well.
