I wish I could give more than 5 stars with this clinic. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with the friendliest staff you will ever come across.
Denise the front receptionist is very helpful and knowledgeable and went out of her way to make my experience enjoyable.
I see Dr Dwayne Kowalchuk and I must say he is very passionate about his job and he takes the time to explain everything to you. I have nothing but good things to say about him.
Tara is Dr Kowalchuk's Dental Hygenist and she is absolutely amazing, she takes the time to make sure you walk out of the office with a beautiful smile.
Again if I could give 10 stars I would cause from the moment you walk in till the time you leave they treat you with the upmost respect.

Five star review for outstanding professional care and service at Southland Dental Choice. Denise, the receptionist, and Deena, the office manager, were very warm and friendly and extremely helpful in arranging appointments and ensuring I received the dental care I needed. The office is very focused on providing excellent patient care with a great deal of thought to the patient’s comfort and well being. Dr. Kowalchuk was superb. He is very patient oriented and technically skilled and was able to do very challenging dental work and guided my care under a tight deadline preoperatively. I appreciated how flexible he was in dealing with an unexpected development and ensuring that my teeth and mouth would be in optimal condition for surgery; which I am scheduled for next week. He was very reassuring, and he and his assistant, Carrie, frequently checked to see how I was doing. Carrie did excellent patient teaching and reviewed pre and post procedure, ensuring that I would understand. A student was starting her practicum today and it was clear when Carrie was teaching and explaining what she was doing that she put the patient’s comfort and wellbeing into the forefront.
The procedure finished with a warm lemongrass scented facecloth which I was able to use to freshen up before going out into public. This is an example of the consideration and comfort this office includes for patients.
I am so grateful to the staff and so pleased that I have found such an outstanding office and dentist.

Best Dentist I have ever had, Dr. KOWALCHUK is so professional and brings only excellence and expertise to his practice. The administration staff is so kind and easy to work with. The dental hygienists are very fun and passionate/excellent at their work.

I had an excellent experience! From the beginning Deena booked me in and made sure I could get an appointment that fit my schedule whether it was early morning or evening! Found the staff to be professional and warm and caring, Christa and Dr Guo were fun and let me talk about my evening plans and made my cavity process easy and painless! Overall it was a fun and easy trip to the dentist! I definitely recommend:)

Great little office, not a fan of coming to the dentist but they treated me really well. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a dentist.

First visit at this dentist (free whitening btw**) they ALL are sooooooo helpful and caring and give great advice. They listened so caringly to my struggles even stayed late to fit my schedule to help me feel better about a stain on my tooth! I also struggle with tremors and they so politely did. Not make me feel. Embarrassed but generously helped me fill out my paperwork thank u thank u thank u! God bless all you who work here!

Great checkups as usual for myself and my two daughters. The hygienists really go out of their way to make the girls (ages 8 and 9) feel comfortable and have a positive experience at the dentist! A bit shout out to the new hygienist "Mr. G" - who is officially my daughter's new favourite hygienist! He was so kind and a lot of fun.

I know that there has been changes in the past with the office however, the Staff and Dentists are very accommodating. The work that I have had done is always exceptional and I have and still recommend this office to my friends and family.

We have been going to Dr. Kowalchuk for eight years now, Dr. K and his team are nothing short of amazing! My 13 year old son has recently had to have some orthodontics prevention work and Dr. K has walked us through every step, being very thorough and patient with not just my son but us as well! I have been going to Dr. Kowalchuk for years. I can not say enough great things. I have always had a great experience. Dr. Kowalchuk and his team are just amazing (Tara, Candy, Denise) to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable environment with a team that is amazing at what they do!

I have always been terrified of the dentist but ConfiDENTAL has begun to change my view of the dentist. My teeth have never felt so clean and the staff went above and beyond to help ensure that I was comfortable.they even got me a blanket, let me sit in the massage chair during my appointment and I was able to watch tv! I no longer dread going to the dentist which says a lot!

I was recommended to ConfiDental after some negative experiences with other dentists and have been a patient for several years now, which included a transition to seeing Dr. Dwayne Kowalchuk when he took over the practice. He and his staff are friendly and professional. Chantal greets me by name when I arrive for appointments because she knows me by name, not by the time in the appointment calendar. The location on Southport Road is convenient - it's a 5 mins.walk to the Anderson C-train station - and their hours offer alot of options for scheduling appointments. At my last checkup I was seen by a new dentist, Dr. Tammie Cheung. She had great rapport with my hygienist, Joan, and they worked well together to provide suggestions and solutions for my concerns. Joan took the time to explain what she was doing or needed to be done and she provided valuable advice. If you want a friendly, experienced team I recommend ConfiDental.

Dwayne and Veronica made sure I was comfortable by offering TV and back massage. The work was completed promptly and quickly.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Kowalchuk and staff explain the procedures very clearly and answer any questions you may have.
