Service and atmosphere stands out here a lot. A very different type of coffee shop where theres so much support for local artist - plays, art, live music etc.

Really great service - Friendly and welcoming. There is a good selection of drinks and pay what you can drip coffee. There is also food offerings here as well (sandwiches and snacks alike). Reasonable price for everything.

Very limited parking space here though but can probably park in nearby street as well.

Lovely "support local, everyone welcome" atmosphere! Locally owned and lots of support for local artists of all kinds: musicians, comedians, visual artists (rotating art display on the walls). During the day, it's a coffee shop. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram or check-out the calendar in-person for when events are scheduled - usually Friday evenings and weekends.

Delicious lattes with "home-made" ingredients if you're feeling indulgent and the much appreciated pay-what-you-feel drip coffee (locally roasted - in the building) when you're just there for the vibes. Non-alcoholic other drinks available too. Soups and sandwiches are good.

Very quaint inside. Homey atmosphere, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff/owners.
Limited menu. Was there in the afternoon.
Would go back again to check out the live music events

Without question the most exciting new cafe and event space in the city! The food is fantastic, the coffee is superb and the owners are two of the loveliest people you could ever hope to meet.

Seating is reminiscent of a bingo hall.and the grade school plastic chairs feel exactly like you remember they do.and every table is a big awkward seat for four.i was there with one person, and so was everyone else there, if not alone.the baked goods were also seriously lacking.they got some work to do before theyre the great comfortable cafe they aspire to be.confused by all the 5 star reviews to be honest.

Y'all, this is the cutest spot ever! The decor is so fun and comfy - you immediately feel at ease when you walk in.
Drinks are the usual with some inventive sprinkles here n there - pricing is LESS than Starbucks and.its way better. That rose whip? DAYUM.
People are great too - what an unexpected gem that's absolutely worth the trip anytime. Especially for cartoon Saturday (please make this a regular event!) <3

I've been a few times now and every exchange is similar - the owners greet you warmly, serve a great cup of coffee (and I mean GREAT), maybe tempt you with some great-looking food.

Absolutely loved the coffee (drip, americano, and cappuccino). The cappuccino's flavor was very well balanced and the foam had a perfect texture. We look forward to the live music in March, as it will bring out all the charm this café has to offer. Would love to see some pastries in the future, but will definitely be back soon.

Now THIS is coffee! Locally roasted beans at a woman-owned cafe with live music, games nights and Saturday morning cartoons? Exactly what this neighbourhood needed. Can't wait to see what they do next.

Found this gem of a coffee shop when my husband and I were going for a stroll. Absolutely loved the atmosphere of the Cafe and Johanna was very pleasant and welcoming. The chai latte I ordered was delicious!

We definitely needed a coffee shop in this amazing community and I'm happy to foresee this place be a common meet up location.

Work a couple of blocks away and a guy came by to invite us for a try. Very impressed with the atmosphere. Warm and cozy. You would not know this by the outside but wait until you enter. I was so pumped by the decor. Very retro. Nick is very down to earth and will chat with you about anything that you want to chat about. He said he was an audiophile. Hope I got that right! All the musical equipment was his from a former life. They plan to have some live music. Can't wait. My cappuccino was fantastic. See you again soon and congrats on the new shop

Really cool little place. A bit out of the way, but the people are friendly, the coffee is good, and the decor is endlessly entertaining.

Great coffee great staff. It's like walking into the best parts of 90ies- the music is killer and it's a wonderful place to hang out with friends. Little bit of magic in those walls.

Great space and people, wonderful food and coffee! We will definitely be back. So happy to have this shop in our neighbourhood

Awesome little coffee shop. I’m so excited that a coffee shop has opened in this area. The coffee is amazing, the food is delightful and the vibe at Congress is absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
