Connelly & Company Management Ltd

My building manager from this company was very rude and unhelpful. The documents stored for us were miss named and placed in wrong date files. Some of them were withheld other were only accessible for $105 fees when the industry standard is between $10-15. When researching this company I found out they are hostile to anyone who requires their services. They have recently had their brokerage license suspended which I can only assume is due to their unprofessional and hostile business practices.
There are many suspicious 5 star reviews for this company from profiles that only have a single review to their name, I would expect these are written by employees of the company as I have not seen any actual customers who have had a pleasant experience with them.

This company is only good at taking people’s money and not answering there phones. Reception is completely rude and hardly answers the phone. The property manager of my building never responds to emails or take weeks to get back. When a response is given it’s condescending and completely unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone.

As stated in comment below, most of the 5 star ratings are not made by fellow owners but contractors or what looks to be family friends.not genuine reviews

We had to get a new garage remote for our condo as the old one was stolen, Dana got us a new one quickly and canceled the old one right away.

After having Connelly manage our condo, I would not recommend them to anyone. They failed to communicate with condo owners and our condo board with months between important communication. They also failed to properly manage contracts resulting in overspending which has directly affected our condo board, budget and fees. When approached by frustrated owners they were very unprofessional, childish and rude.

EDIT: I have read through all the reviews and most of the 5 Star reviews have been written by subcontracted companies by Connelly and Company. It seems fishy that a good chunk of the good reviews come from people/companies that work for Connelly.

Connelly lack communication and professionalism for common business practices. Their team has not provided help for many issues leaving us frustrated.

We have been waiting months for many different problems to be dealt with and we all still wait without and update or any information provided from the company.
They do not answer phone calls, return messages, and it takes days to get an email response.

We got a new manager from Connelly, however at a AGM meeting he had an emotional outburst. He failed to remove his feelings at the door, and was rude and extremely unprofessional.

Worst condo management company! This one needs to be out of business. They charge fees but they don't do anything! Anything at all.

The communication skills at this company is well below average. On the phone they are rude and seldom take a proactive position when there is a problem that we report. When I requested to talk to a supervisor, the person on the other side of the line just transferred me to a phone that rang constantly without any answer or voice mail.

This management is absolutely useless. I have been trying to get condo docs and go in owner portal which has absolutely nothing. Getting condo documents from this management company has been a nightmare

I've worked with Connelly for around 4 years now, as they manage the townhouse complex that I own property in. I've found our Property Manager to be very easy to work with, caring and professional. He is reliable and always here when we need him.

I was amazed at the quick and efficient service that I received from Connelly & Company! I certainly did not expect it because Condo Management Companies are usually very slow to respond and not forthcoming with documents! My sincere appreciation to Danna Elbast who super surprised me with the documents the same day! I truly wish that all Calgary's Condos were managed by Connelly & Company! Not responsive. Property manager did not reply to email, did not return calls. The woman at the switchboard was very impolite and rude.

Have had Connelly & Co managing our condo for 3 years. One key element to a smooth working relation ship is timely communication. We have had 4 key personal contacts over the 3 years 4 months.

Taylor, Chris and currently Danna Elbast all have been excellent in their timely contact and follow up with the management issues for this building.

Connelly has excellent service contacts and I am glad to have had their resources to assist in the maintenance of our investment. As well as expertise in property management, Connelly is cost effective in attaining the best quality resources /resolution for the issues at hand.

Guardian Condominium Care has been working as a contractor for Connelly & Company for years. In our opinion, the best property management firm in town. Property managers are well aware of the properties they manage, make sound decisions, are professional, and communicate well with their contractors.

I have requested a receipt for the fines that my tenants accumulated. The management has been ignoring me for months. Whenever I call, the secretary tells me that they are either on lunch or left early. Sick and tired of this.

I am an owner in one of the buildings that Connelly & Company manages. They have been great with responding to my emails and questions. I appreciate all the great correspondence.

Fantastic company. I have completed painting and drywall repair projects at many of their properties over the years. Their management team is very aware of the needs of the owners at the properties they manage and they get things taken care of! I have always been treated with respect and fairness by anyone on their team I have interacted with which speaks to a great company culture.

I don't know why they do this job if they're so miserable at it. Simple requests are responded with condescending sarcasm. A polite yes we can do that or no we can't do that would suffice. Would not recommend.

Great service with a quick response. I have lots of questions as I am a new owner and I am never made to feel as though I am inquiring too much. Nothing but good experiences so far. Danna is really helpful!

I have found this company to be very responsive and responsible. I have lived in the Quintera townhouses for seven years and have never had an issue. Exelair who does the heating or all the buildings does an excellent job every time I have needed help, which has not been very often. Overall very pleased

Great service with quick response for the owners. We had our garage door mechanism break and Bill responded quickly and was excellent about making sure the door company had us as a priority. We received excellent care from the door company, and, Bill made sure to follow up with us that all was handled. We have not had any reason for concern with the management company in our 18 months in our current home.

Connelly & Company has always been great to me when dealing with my condo. The staff is friendly and the service is fast! Have never had issues with them being rude or impolite.
