Her patience, care, and understanding in answering numerous question and addressing concerns made us feel heard and supported. Her kindness provided our family comfort and it showed that she truly cared about the well being of our family. After the unexpected death of my brother, we called a few places but since it was a Saturday, most of them didn't respond. Enter the dedicated staff of Connelly-McKinley! Ashley was super helpful with everything. My brother would have appreciated that we weren't forced to spend money on unnecessary things.

Great kindness, understanding. They have a great on-line picture presentation editor that turned our pictures into an engaging and professional slideshow.
It would have taken twice as long to produce the same results in Premiere Pro or Davince. Furthermore, the help after the funeral service with their comprehensive "instructional package in a binder" so the "Personal Representative", (aka: Executor), could properly manage the estate is worth the price of the funeral alone.

Everyone was extremely professional and genuinely understanding. The caring of the deceased was on par and each department did an excellent job. They all made the experience that was a sad moment calming and sympathetic.

This is the funeral homes that truly gives personal care for the family who lost their love ones. We were devastated for the chain of events that happened in the passing of my Mom but Aimee our funeral coordinator was there every step of the way. My older sister had just recently passed, and it was a difficult time for me and my family. My father didn't have the strength to plan her services himself, so me being 18 years old I decided to take charge. I've only ever been to funerals, I've never had to plan them before, so I was stuck on what to do. Thankfully though, through Connelly-McKinley I was able to have the help of a kind person named Bianca Buffalo through this time. She was very understanding and reliable, she also gave me words of comfort aswell through it all. I'm glad to have worked with Bianca and the funeral home, if it wasn't for her and her expertise, I wouldn't have known what to do. I'm so thankful that I was able to lay my sister to rest the right way, I'll be forever grateful for this experience

I never realized the value of an excellent funeral director until this past month. We had a difficult death in our family. Aimee, our funeral director, answered our questions in a straightforward, factual manner, but with compassion. She brought great comfort to our family. When it came to making arrangements, there was no pressure, but options were simply presented (it helped that our loved one belonged to Edmonton's Memorial Society).

I appreciate all their help during our difficult time, the funeral directors were very informative and patient with us. They were organized with the caskets, flowers and cards. During the wake of our late mother, one of the funeral directors came by to see how we were during and she even wore the traditional ribbon skirt and that meant a lot to us.

4600$ for a box with my mothers ashes and they don’t even handle the cremation directly.
It was 1800$ to have my father cremated in 2016.
I realize inflation has taken a bite out of purchasing power. However this seems like a well organized ring of people set to make as much money as humanly possible.

I highly recommend this funeral company. They have wonderful staff who pay attention to detail and go out of their way to support families in a difficult time. Special thanks to Jenna for helping us through two funerals with grace and compassion.

Our mother pre-arranged and paid for her funeral years ago. When she passed earlier this month we had no idea how this pre-arrangement would expedite things and relieve us from many of the stresses we expected. Almost every detail was covered under the plan so all we had to do was make a call and attend their facility to fill out some paperwork. Within a few days of making the immediate arrangements, an after-care representative came to my home and helped identify all the agencies that had to be notified of mom's death and advised they would do this on our behalf. Every person we've dealt with at Connelly-McKinley has been professional, knowledgeable, and very kind during this difficult time. I would highly recommend Connelly-McKinley.

Natalie the funeral director, and Connie the Celebrant, took care of us and guided us through every step; Natalie chose the perfect Celebrant for us. They suggested things we hadn’t thought of and made the entire process so much easier. The after care with Debra was very supportive and helpful.

How would feel if your loved one was treated like an Amazon package. Judge by actions not words.

Pickup driver arrived late at Airport

The family of the deceased worked personal contacts to get mother released and drove out ‘alone’ to ensure transfer! The son of deceased was tasked with this as his mother just passed. Airline supervisors have discretion to release all the time for human remains, medical supplies, blood, organs, etc. That’s who released my mother.

No members of the Connelly-McKinley came to airport to assist or try to implore local cargo staff from airline to release or contact supervisor after the initial missed pickup due to being late. The family is in a grieving tired state and encouraged us to go there alone. No assistance or even offer to drive the grieving family to airport.

This was all new to me and my family, however, the two funeral directors (Ashley Christensen and Wendy Barry) that were assigned to us, one to get the the funeral started by providing us with information on what should be done and the second director was available to help us with the arrangements for the embalming, the service and the meal after. We were told by our friends that the whole ceremony, plus the luncheon were just great. Some even said that they favoured our arrangements better than a different funeral they attended. All I can say that I am extremely happy that my wife's funeral turned out so good, and we owe it all to Connelly-McKinley. Thank you.

Dealing with the loss of a young son, every staff member at this facility was so compassionate, caring and most importantly, didnt make a person feel obligated in any way.

Natalie at the St. Albert Funeral Home was so kind and compassionate on the most miserable day of my life. She went above and beyond what my expectations were. She was always there for us for our changes to the service.
The staff saw that we were very well looked after during the reception.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this Funeral Home and Natalie to anyone.

Everything was great with exception of a missed detail of an obit for my mother on their web site. They had week with my mom
