In 2023 we hired Contact Renovations for an extensive exterior renovation. The project included design, demolition of current exterior, windows, doors, garage door, 3 decks, asbestos removal, Hardie Plank and LUX installation, soffits and eaves to name a few. The project began with the design phase and Paul was a huge asset in helping us to tackle very big decisions. He shared his expertise and offered suggestions when needed, but ultimately left the decisions to us, which we appreciated. All the work was completed very well, by professionals, with attention to detail. Deficiencies were remedied. Communication was always prompt and clear. Decisions were transparent. What we appreciate most about Contact is the team Paul has put together. From the office staff, to the project lead, to the amazing on site team, they really set themselves apart from the rest. Everyone we worked with from Contact was professional, prompt, took pride in their work and was quite frankly a joy to be around. Special mention to both Justin and Johanna, who were with us for most of the scope of work. We felt safe having all of Contact’s team, in our home, with kids and animals present. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Contact Renovations and I’m sure we will work with them again in the future.

Paul and his team were great to work with. What we were looking for in a contractor was good quality, good communication, and for it to be stress free. We got all of that. We will definitely use Contact again for future projects.

We are very pleased with Contact’s renovation of our 1960s bungalow. Contact replaced our old kitchen cabinets, removed a wall separating the kitchen and dining room, redid our floors and ceiling, and replaced a gas fireplace with a wall unit and a banquette. We love our “new” house—it has transformed the way we live. The estimate was fair, and we were prepared for potential structural expenses once the walls etc.were removed. It was also clear that Contact did not skimp on details or materials; everything works as it should. They also started on the promised day, and finished on the promised day, which was very important to us. Our neighbours noted afterwards that there was always someone there working, and through the app we could follow Contact’s progress. We would certainly recommend Paul and his crew for their work.

We used Contact for what was essentially a full-home renovation and we're very happy with the outcome. During the original scoping phase, Paul was great at giving suggestions for creative things we could do (like our feature wall on the stairs) without it feeling like he was pushing more scope. They were also good about making suggestions for areas to cut down the budget. They recommended a wonderful designer who they felt fit our personality and needs (because we sure needed help in that area). Their project management software meant we knew what was going on and could see the schedule in real-time. The quality of the finished product is excellent and Paul and his staff were picky about all the details and made sure their subcontractors came in to finish all the little fixes in a timely manner. We love the results - it's exactly what we hoped for when we started - and we'd recommend Contact to anyone looking to do renovations.
