Contours Oral Surgery

I was nervous to see the doctor for consultation, not to mention the surgery itself. However, when stepping into the clinic, 3 ladies at the front were very welcoming, and the interior design makes me feel cozy and calm. The consultation with Dr. Talwar went smoothly (which was approx. 5 min), during the short chat, I can feel her confidence and she assured that the operation will be fine which put me at ease.
The Teeth Extraction Surgery was done on Oct 12 by Dr. Talwar. According to RDA, it took only 30 min which is quite impressive.

Things that I like about Contours on the surgery day:
- Before the surgery, the RDA answered my question regarding the right numbering of 1st to 3rd Molars;
- In the operation room, I was provided a warm towel to cover myself which was so considerate;
- My sister who was waiting for me was offered a hot coffee (on a chilly morning).

Things might be potentially done better:
- Bone grafting option was brought up right before my surgery and I was briefly introduced 3 types of materials. I appreciate that the option was provided to me and if it can be brought up during consultation session, it would be even better so that would give me some time to be mentally prepared.
- A pamphlet was given to me right after I woke up from general anesthesia, with detailed post-surgery instructions & key points highlighted in yellow markers which were very informative; however, as it is written on the cover of the pamphlet: " familiarize yourself with the pamphlet prior to surgery", if the pdf version can be sent via email to me prior to my surgery so that I would read it through beforehand, that would be much appreciated.
And thank you Dr. Bucyk for putting me to sleep without feeling any pain and thank you Dr. Talwar for being so professional and efficient. Thank you Christine for being so responsive and flexible.
Overall, Contours exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to my friends & family.

I had an oral surgery done today and I was very nervous about it but then I Dr Adam Abdo, the anesthesiologist Bucky and his entire team and they put my mind at ease. The surgery was done according to the doctors expectations and I was very pleased with the outcome. I would absolutely recommend this place and Dr Adam and his wonderful team.

Friendly, caring staff who take time to listen, answer questions and ensure your comfort. As a nervous dental patient, I was made to feel at ease

I had got my wisdom teeth removed this morning at contours, when I had went in for my appointment I was greeted by the friendly lady up front and each staff member I met was very kind and knowledgeable! The facility was very clean and visually appealing, hopefully I don’t have a reason to go back anytime soon but, if anything comes up contours will be the first place I call. Keep up the great work Contours team! I will be sending anyone I know who needs some help on over here as overall is was quite the pleasant experience!

My son was quite nervous going into have all four of his wisdom teeth pulled todaythe staff are very kind and very caring and it seems like they really love their job and their patients

Dr Telwar is a very knowledgeable and professional ortho surgeon. She takes the time to discuss the procedure thoroughly and explains what to expect during healing time. I appreciate that she is very personable with her patients. She is not pretentious in her conversations with patients. The rest of the staff is very kind and patient as well. I appreciate their attention to patient wellness and their kind follow up after procedures. Big thanks to the anesthesiologist for the great restful sleep!

Disgusting customer service and rude staff. They mentioned it takes weeks to review a self referral even though its an emergency. The staff attitude only shows how this place operates. Avoid at all costs!

I completely disagree with the owners response, your staff were rude and dismissive they didn't bother to actually find out the emergency they clearly mentioned " we get way too many of these and we are very busy" I don't believe that's the right attitude or for what you call triage. Clearly your staff have no empathy nor customer service skills they should get of thier high horse. BTW you have no rights to use my full name and you are explicitly requested not to do so in your response. You will be hearing from us!

My daughter had two implants placed to replace teeth she was not born with excellent treatment was done and very friendly professional staff and surgeon I would highly recommend

One of the most efficient and friendly places I've had the pleasure to be treated at. I walked away from my surgery very close to an hour after starting (done)

I had no pain, I did not bleed much, at 3: 00 pm It was like nothing happened,

I was super nervous to go under general anesthesia for the first time in my life for my 3 remaining wisdom teeth. From the initial follow up phone calls, emails, to the second I stepped through their office doors, I was extremely impressed with the level of comfort & kindness I experienced with all their staff. Every nurse I spoke to, the anesthesiologist, & Doctor Talwar, had great energy, were all pleasant to talk to, & the process of being put to sleep felt like time travel. I literally didn’t have a clue that I had already fallen asleep and woken up until they walked me out of the surgery room. It was so quick & painless! I even received a very friendly follow up phone call just a few hours later letting me know if there was absolutely anything I needed to call them back. Also, my FAVOURITE part was that the entire facility looks like a beautiful, zen spa. You’d never guess it’s an oral surgery office. You feel so luxe & relaxed the whole time. I wish I got my first tooth removed that way rather than staying awake through it all & feeling the pressure. You can tell all the staff genuinely love working there as the environment is so positive and everyone in that office has great things to say about Doctor Talwar (she also apparently designed the facility that way to help patients feel at ease) it was definitely worth writing a long review for because I was totally dreading this experience but they made it a million times better & easier.

What an awesome clinic, the staff are so friendly and Dr. Reena Talwar is very nice and her work is amazing and very professional, it is by far the cleanest clinic I’ve been to!

They are so kind and informative. They took the time to go over everything. Dr. Adam Abdo took the time to go over my chart and then gave me my options with no pressure.

Amazing facility! Had all wisdom teeth removed and surgery was fast and done well. Sent home with a straight forward, comprehensive post-op document with all the do’s and dont’s. Ended up getting dry socket for an unknown reason but contours and dr antonella were extremely helpful, caring, and accommodating to help me feel better and heal. Dr Antonella is really incredible and has extremely good bedside manner. Overall really really happy with my experience. Would recommend and visit again for any other procedures.

I hate this place. Dealing with Tanya at reception is like pulling teeth pun intended. She is unprofessional and inconsiderate. She is a liar and scam artist and cannot not be trusted. Even when you have full coverage they will blame the provider is refusing to pay even though they did not put the claim through! Just so you have to pay out of pocket. I paid out of pocket for pre-op even when my insurance was covered and was told I would get reimbursed, and still have not! It has been almost 6 mo ths! Do not waste your time with these people. It is a huge scam! Save yourself the headache.

Yet another lie. I provided ALL necessary documentation of coverage. I followup myself with your clinic if all went through for MONTHS and continued to get the run around until recently i was notified " your insurance is refusing to pay, you have a balance to pay in full NOW! " Only to check with insurance that they never recieved any claim from Contours. And still yet, not ever putting a claim through to my primary insurance even though you claim to direct bill for our convince - this experience ESPECIALLY with TANYA has been nothing but a nightmare. FIRE TANYA IMMEDIATELY she will run your business to the ground and use her famous line " who are you? ! " The entire way down. From inception she was rude, judgemental, negative, grimacing, offputting - all the things businesses NEVER hire for. I should have walked away the moment TANYA spoke and never given Contours my business. ALL of your negative reviews are about TANYA at reception and how horrible she is, it speaks volumes about how you much you "take pride " by protecting this Monster over listening to your clients and potential client. You DO NOT care if it works out with my Insurance you want your money upfront and out of pocket if you don't believe people of color can't possibly have full 100% insurance coverage. Fix your business plan, do some house cleaning *TANYA* I can provide you with many applicants that can do a better job than her and then maybe you'll stay afloat.

I had a wonderful experience at Contours! Dr. Talwar and the anesthesiologist Dr. Bucyk, were lovely people and answered all my questions, leaving me feeling very comfortable and at ease. The front desk staff were so kind and everyone who worked with Dr. Talwar on Nov. 8th, had a lovely bedside manner and were so patient with me when I told them I was nervous. I had a very smooth and almost painless recovery after my oral surgery. I felt so comfortable and accommodated for (a very kind staff member covered me with a warm blanket during my surgery, since it was such a cold day). Also a huge thank you to Christine for being so accommodating and kind! This was a 10/10 experience

I was so impressed from start to finish with how Contours treated my son when he needed a tooth surgically removed. Everyone was so friendly and made my son feel at ease and not nervous at all. Everything went so smooth and quick and they let me stay with my son up until he was asleep and I was in the room as soon as he woke up. Super organized and simple the whole time!

I just had an implant for a tooth done by Dr. Reena Talwar and must say it was such an amazing great experience. From entering this beautiful and calming facility to the friendly staff that guides you through the procedure makes you feel confident and at ease. The operating room is very clean and well organized with highly trained staff that assists Dr. Reena Talwar. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you again for your gentle care.

17 year old patient. Wisdom teeth extractions. Excellent overall experience! Easy location to find, with lots of free parking. Bright spacious building and clean modern office and operatory.

The reception staff, assistant, nurse, oral surgeon and anesthetist were all professional, curious and caring.

Before and after care was very well explained, and a follow up call we made regarding post op medications was quickly answered.

Recovery was excellent and the actual time it took for the procedure was exactly as outlined.

We really appreciated the one on one care offered in this office as opposed to the "assembly line" care experienced at another large oral surgery.

Receptionist has alot of attitude towards potential patient. Not very informative, each time you call back she then lets you know what else is needed after you have completed the first request.

From the very first phone call to the after surgery follow up call, we were well taken care of. I had two kids having wisdom teeth removal. Staff made them feel at ease and relaxed. Dr. Talwar was very kind and explained everything to both my kids. A friend of mine recommended this office and I now know why. Thank you!

Very Good place to have your wisdom teeth removed or other oral surgery’s. Highly knowledgeable team that works very fast to get you in and out of the facility with the least discomfort as possible, with a very nice modern office that makes the overall experience feel very luxurious, worth every penny.

Such a welcoming environment. I was introduced to everyone who would be completing my surgery and given an overview of every step of the process beforehand. My concerns were met with empathy, and managed immediately. Christine at the front was so helpful every time I called, and the nurses I spoke with gave complete, well-informed information. Dr. Trache took a strong interest in my comfort during healing and was very willing to accommodate my needs. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs oral surgery.

Dr. Talwar is the nicest doctor anyone could ask for. She is very polite and professional. I got 2 teeth extracted by Dr. Talwar. Prior to the procedure, she explained the after care very well. I was nervous but she made sure I was comfortable and knew what to expect. Talking about the clinic and staff, the clinic is fully accessible. The staff is very helpful and professional. The clinic was overall, very clean and hygienic, so were the doctors and staff. The procedure went very smoothly and I definitely recommend getting dental procedures done from here.

We feel fortunate that my son’s dentist referred us to Dr Talwar and her team to have his wisdom teeth extracted. They addressed all our questions and concerns, and made us feel at ease.

I wish I could give MORE STARS for this amazing clinic. I have never received such friendly and pleasant customer service like this before. This clinic really goes above and beyond for you. From the front desk, to the assistants to the surgeon. They are ALL wonderful no matter who you deal with.

It's been over a week since my surgery, and it was such a positive experience! It was my first ever surgery, and I already have anxiety at the dentist, but the team made me feel very safe and listened to. From my first consultation with Dr. Talwar I felt safe in her hands, and the anesthesiologist (sorry, I can't recall his name!) answered all of the questions I thought were silly and really helped to quell my anxiety before going under.
The team gave my parents a rundown on how to care for me post-op with very detailed instructions. They even called the next day to check-in on me!
I would highly recommend Contours Oral Surgery for anyone. It was a great experience for my very first surgery!
(And my parents keep complimenting them for how quick the procedure was!)

I was irrationally anxious since it was my first time being put under. The anesthesiologist really helped me through that. I appreciated the fact he walked me through each step and what I should be feeling as opposed to just saying "count backwards". I cant speak much about the surgeon since I was unconscious; however, given its 3 days post surgery and no complications, obviously was a job well done.

Outstanding and amazing service. I was experiencing dread and pre operation trauma only to have the actual operation and effect of the operation flipped into a very positive experience. The professionalism of all staff and ability of Dr. Talwar is astonishing, to say I'm impressed is a huge understatement!

I would rather give them zero stars. Reena Talwar's bed side manner is very unpleasant and unwelcoming. Tanya, the receptionist is incredibly rude and was very disrespectful on several occasions both on the phone and in person. Extremely unprofessional and should absolutely not be a first point of contact there or anywhere! They weren't honest with their fees and became defensive when I inquired further into why I was being charged for something for the 4th time. I wish I would have read reviews and looked further into things before wasting my time and money on that clinic.

I don't think anyone is overly excited to have a tooth removed but I can't imagine going anywhere else.
This may sound funny but whether its a restaurant, automotive repair shop, clothing store or a dentist, to me, its all about the experience. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel welcome and at ease, all my questions were answered - I knew I was in GREAT hands! What really stands out though is the initial injection - I am deathly afraid of needles and Dr Talwar made it bearable! Game changer!
Contours took what potentially could have been an unpleasant, upsetting dental visit and changed the experience, they make you feel, at that particular moment, that you are the only one that matters - they are there for you. Even the days following the procedure, over a long holiday weekend, Dr Talwar texted to make sure everything was healing properly.amazing!
Like I said I wasn't excited to have my tooth removed but I can't fathom having anyone else do it!

From start to finish the entire staff was top notch. Receiving phone calls of updates that they could get me in sooner then expected to when you walk into the office everyone is very friendly and polite, to a thorough breakdown of procedures and post op expectations is very professional and makes you feel comfortable. The receptionist, nurses, surgeon and anesthesiologist were amazing and if you had any questions or concerns they had the answers.

I would highly recommend Contours to anybody looking to get whatever oral surgery they are needing, you will have a great experience from a great staff.

I am very disappointed with my first impression of this clinic. I've read such great reviews of the team and staff which is why I was so upset upon booking my initial appointment. The first lady I spoke to was actually very nice and helpful and was able to get me in for an appointment. I had to call back within minutes to inquire about a different day for the appointment as I don't have a lot of flexibility with my schedule and the second staff member I spoke to was extremely rude.
I started off by saying I had just spoken to someone only minutes before and was calling again to see what the next available date was and told her the appointment day and time I had been originally booked. She said and I quote: "Ok, who are you? Let's start there! " in the most disrespectful tone. She could've simply asked "May I have your name please? " or "Can you spell your name for me? " She could've answered a million different ways than the unprofessional, rude way she did and still continued to have an attitude with me throughout the conversation.

I myself work as reception at a clinic and I have NEVER, nor would ever talk to a client/patient in this manner! I'm already in pain and anxious for this upcoming appointment, the last thing I need is for someone that works there to be rude and condescending to me. If it truly wasn't because I need this surgery soon, I would not even bother coming to this clinic at all. I just hope that at my appointment I am actually treated with more respect like I was with the first lady I spoke to, not the second one.

I had my wisdom teeth out and some growths removed and all I can say is it went great. They are all very professional and everything went to plan.i highly recommend them they are worth every penny.

My son had all four of his impacted wisdom teeth out last week by Dr. Talwar and her awesome team! From the moment you walk into their state of the art facility, you are greeted with kindness and feel very at ease immediately. Patient safety is their number one priority and any nervous feelings you may have prior to your appointment I assure you will go away as soon as you meet their team. They are super efficient at getting you in and out so you don't have to be there all day waiting. My son's surgery itself, he came home and was comfortable, minimal bleeding or pain and was able to go back to school within 3 days. I booked my son here because of so many 5 star reviews and they are definitely 5 star worthy! Highly recommend them!

Thank you to the Contours team! All the staff are friendly, compassionate and very caring. I had a very pleasant wisdom teeth removal experience. I iced very well for the first 3 days and had NO swelling at all. I did not have any pain after the surgery— did not need to take any painkillers. My recovery time was ~2 days.very quick! It has been over 1 month now, I think that the sockets have healed nicely.
Please don’t hesitate to get your wisdom teeth removed here, they are phenomenal. I would recommend them to anyone.
