Copperstone Resort

Room was nice, was 2 floors so spacious.there was no sponge to wash the dishes but they gave dish soap? Seems odd as every other hotel suite we have stayed in they always provide a disposable sponge. This is a dog friendly resort yet they don’t even have ONE garbage can outside on the sidewalks, in the lobby or by the main doors. This is so odd to me. Please put at least one trash can somewhere outside, this is probably why dog owners weren’t picking up after their pets properly. I had seen a few dog poop bags on the snow and grass. Location also wasn’t the best. It was fine for our weekend but wouldn’t stay here again, there are better places in Canmore

When looking online to book a two night stay in July, taxes and fees showed reservation fee at $93 per night for a $450 per/night stay. The front desk gave me the central booking number. When I inquired what this money goes towards, there was no explanation. The reply was that this is a resort fee and 10% is applied to every night stay. Cleaning fee I understand. Tourism levy I understand. But then an additional fee called reservation fee? I am booking online, what is costing $93?

I gave this resort 4 star review. After the management sarcastic response, I give it 1.

We rented through VRBO, so I will just comment on a few things I notice about the resort. Parking is kaos. You have to pay for parking. Small parking lot underground. Outside parking you have to pay. The front desk wasn't open at 10 am when we had an elevator issue to report it, so we found a maintenance guy. Hot tub is way too small for how many units they have. They allow 10 people in a hot tub. One garbage can be found in the middle of the resort. This resort is dog friendly, and unfortunately, so many people don't pick up after their dogs. Condo also needs more garbage cans outside. Also, more lights would be great by unit 5 by the road. Also, back doors are not available for entrance or exit, so when walking the dogs, you always have to go through the main door. Unfortunately, there is construction right beside the resort, so not a lot of privacy and views are meh.beautiful walking trails in the back of the resort.

Great location, close to Canmore and Banff. Not overpriced.

Despite partly clean rooms our stay was pleasant.

2 star for cleaning service, was vacuumed and that’s it. Other surfaces cleaned in rush or just not properly. Lots of dust everywhere. We paid for cleaning almost as much as for the apartment, we still had to do laundry (towels), the dishes and garbages. Good that we didn’t have to change the sheets on the beds.

The hot tub was amazing!
Wi-Fi working without problems.
Access to fridge, microwave and stove is a plus.

Would visit it again. Just next time will bring my cleaning supplies.

Great place to sleep! Just off of Highway 1 in Dead Man's Flats, very convenient for skiers and snowboarders and people looking to explore the Kananaskis area. Quiet location, nice sized rooms/suites, and underground parking.

The nicest place within Invermere. Full Suites. Nice Spa. A good reaturant. Good pool. I highly recommend.

Had a great time at Copperstone on a Girls weekend getaway. The rooms were big and we had enough general space for all our activities. The hot tub was awesome as well.

So many things wrong with our place: the heat didn't work properly, spent most of the time by the stove with all the burners and oven running just to keep warm. The fireplace was not working either, which was a big reason why we choose this place. Quite disappointed

We have stayed at the Copperstone Resort numerous times over the last 10 years. It is awesome! The staff is great, the pool table is so fun, the rooms are wonderful with full kitchen and the separate bedroom is lovely. Being able to walk to the Bow River is so great! I highly recommend this property. It's only a five minute drive to Canmore.

Go here they offer free shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The couch even has a bed too! Definetely come here because it’s amazing here!

Nice suite we had very clean and nice touches.views of construction of another building blocked the mountain views. Was rather disappointed and was way over priced for a long weekend.

Made a 4 day reservation, when I arrived my access cards wouldn't work and there were no one from the hotel staff on site to help as it was after hours. Ended up finding a new hotel late at night. I called the front desk and the person incharge who was supposed to be there after hours in the morning but no one answered. I get a call later in the day from someone saying they apologize for inconvenience and a person from the operations will reach out to me to issue a refund and discuss compensation. It's been 2 weeks and I still did not get a call from them. I went to the hotel and spoke to them in person, called them multiple times and they keep saying someone from operation will call me but no one called me and I still did not get my money back. Would Stay away from this place in the future.

Update (23rd October 2023) : The resort's reply says they issued a full refund but I'm yet to receive the refund or even a call about this matter. They mention an after hours policy but the key cards not working correctly is the fault of the resort/staff. The reply is not apologetic in any way and there being no further action means they don't have any consideration for their customers.

Great place, we were 6 plus baby and the place was perfect.
Apart from the fact it like your home so full size refrigerator silverware plate etc, it also have washer dryer (combo) which mean you can pack less cloth, living room have tv which we didn’t use and fire place control by remote which the baby loved to watch.
Bed was ok, and there was plenty space for cloth.
Two shower-toilet, one in master bedroom one in its own room, both on second floor.
There is an underground parking, if you have huge car you might need to do a bit of maneuvering, space is not reserved.
There are also few spaces across the street.
There is a Gas station really closed by.

Very nice location as it's a quiet and small town and the resort has a nice view of the mountains. It is also very close to Banff and Canmore.

Great location and great price, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Banff. The reception was kind and very helpful. We booked the 1b1b+den which had a pull out sofa which was more than enough for everyone. Underground parking was nice, there was always enough parking. Fitness centre was serviceable.

Great stay for couples! Great kitchen, large space with dining table and living room, along with the patio

I would give this place zero star if i could. Been waiting over an hour with two small kids trying to check in. The sign says 8: 30pm!

Clean, reasonably priced accommodations.

Just a note, if you’re without a car you’ll need to arrange a cab over to Canmore to be able to access any public transit.
