I have been with Cornerstone for many years and recently they sent me emails to sign up for a social credit score with Wawaesa for a rating factor on auto insurance for those who provide their consent for a ‘soft hit’. In which they claim would only create a potential rate reduction, not an increase. I did not sign up. For the first time ever, my drivers licence was checked and they found two speeding tickets from 2019 and jacked my insurance up $600 a year. I’ve been driving 30 years without an accident or claim and my truck insurance is now $2500/yr. I would not recommend using any insurance provider that wants to implement a credit score!

James Rutherford with Cornerstone is a valuable corporate insurance partner. He works diligently and quickly to ensure his clients have all the proper insurance in place. I started by needing a Errors and Omissions policy and i had no idea what that all entailed. James patiently answered all of my questions and thoroughly explained my policy to me. We also required a liability policy in order to transfer our home insurance to within a tight time frame and James was able to meet the deadline. Being a contractor who deals directly with clients in their homes I require a pre-paid contractors license. This license requires insurance backing and there are not many companies that deal with this sort of insurance.
I explained the situation and that my current company would not return calls, emails, or any communication to the point where my coverage had lapsed, James had me back with insurance the very next day.
That guy is awesome and a great guy. I highly recommend!
