Cornerstone Management

Too bad there’s no option for zero stars. This management company spent $2,500 in repairs for my rental that I didn’t authorize even if the agreement stated needing my approval. It’s been more than 2 years and the owner Carolyn Flexhaug, Minda Baldonado their accounting person have been unresponsive despite multiple follow-ups.

I wish I could give 0 stars. First of all, when you call to book a viewing, the lady has an attitude. Her tone is so obnoxious and doesn't know how to be a "manager. "

Second of all, I was suppose to view a unit and this was booked A WEEK IN ADVANCE! I got a call 2 hours prior to confirm my appointment and the moment I parked at the condo, the guy showing the unit decides to raise his voice to say my booking is cancelled.
Do better!

Dont come near a building managed by these ppl they lie.if they dont know the answers the just make things up till you go away.not surprising, now that i have read some of their other reviews, and if you leave a bad review they will slander/ release personal info on the internet.not a practice a reputable company should do never mind the privacy laws.good luck! Find a better company/building, (maybe boardwalk) save yourself the trouble.

Just wow, and Carolyn needs to check her ego attitude, and learn respect. And quit lieing you can't talk on the phone. I am going to post my phone calls recorded on my cell phone to Facebook for people to hear how they treat people. And you must be a millionaire to rent from them because if you make triple the rent and also have a truck loan they denied you 7400 in income with rent sup, and my bills for truck and visa loan is 1500 a month. And she said debt is way to high. Credit score 726. House was 2100 a month. That leaves me 3800 a month after bills to live on and she said debt is to high. Stay away. And you poor people that have these "realtors" managing your properties. I bet you are not making a cent. Because they won't rent the houses, and I seen all your reviews just now saying just that. Brutal experience. But I now know for the best. If there like this now, must be hell actually living in a unit.

Home owners please be carefull to hire this company.they only care about commissions and never answer your calls.had a very bad experience and when we call they say "oh sorry iam in Ontario having a family trip call us back in two weeks ""

Not the greatest company, have a problem with your unit, oh we will get back to you at the next business day, proceeds to never hear anything, they listen to the messages you leave them amd then delete them never acting upon them.

Worst property management company in Edmonton! Accepted me as a tenant, gave me a lease as well as new tenant package, but because I'm in a housing program who would've paid my first & last (aka damage deposit), they decided to deny my tenancy after approving it.that has to be illegal and I'll be looking into taking legal action against them!

Lack respect for people and their time. Organized a house viewing and was called at 8: 30am to confirm viewing for noon, then called that they weren’t coming as we were waiting outside the rental, the house was rented to someone else over the weekend. This made my daughter cry and took up half of our day. Not impressed. “Sorry if we wasted your time” was repeated over and over but an acknowledgement of actually wasting my time would have made me not leave a poor review.

Extremely disappointing. They take forever to take action on any complain or any maintenance issues. Our microwave suddenly stopped working on first day of our holy month of fasting and we tried calling and emailing them several times but they never send anyone to look at it. It's been 3 weeks now and still didn't get any response from them. Usually they make excuses of forgetting things and very lazy to act on things. Never experienced anything in our life with any management company. Mind you it's not first time, since we moved with this company, they take forever to do maintenance related things and at the end give you excuses whether they want to do it or not.

I am currently dealing with no returned phone calls. No response to emails. And about 7 different people i talk to, cuz they don't respond to their email so a new person sends you something. They force you to miss doctors appointments and keep your child home from school because they cannot get all their personnel to act as 1. They don't adhere to the 24 hour notice. Unless you have the TIME, I don't recommend Cornerstone
