Coronation Eco Station

Place is run efficienctly but the staff are interesting, either extremely nice or complete grumps that will pick apart everything you do lol

The worst dump station in the world they act like its the only dump in the city with alots of stupid questions they want to milkyou.c2 recycling is the best no questions ask no mattress fees and you get snacks in the way out

This place is worth its weight in gold. Great staff who are super helpful. Awesome experience.

Went there today and every single staff member was delightful and helpful! From the gentleman waiving people in, to the lady at the booth, the nice man directing me where to drop off and the staff inside the drop off building. I wish I had all their names to say thank you personally. Such a lovely way to start my day!

Staff were friendly and the station was organized well. My trip was very fast! I will be coming back when we do more house Reno's!

Staff are very helpful in making sure items go where should. Easy to get to and get rid of electronics and appliances

This summer had at least 7 visits. Some of the workers are less professional, especially on the window and when you drive to the stop sign. They have 0 customer service. Some are very nice

Organized. That’s the one word that describes this place. Very long lines though. Otherwise it’s a good place to get rid of garbage for a relatively cheap cost.

What great customer service this eco station has! It may be a small location, but this hard-working team always has everything running like clockwork, so I never have to wait in line for too long! A big, big thank you to all of the staff

Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a pretty tight space for what they have to work with but they are really organized and have a good system. Also way cheaper than I expected.

Working hard or hardly working? Friendly greeting and directions. But the staff shouldn’t be standing around talking when I’m pretty sure they can be doing some work in between customers. Very unproductive hours.

Great place to drop off old household chemicals, old paint and batteries for no charge.
Lines are always quite long so be prepared to wait a bit

Came here to deliver some garbage except for a bit of cardboard which went into recycling and they treated me nicely even offering to help me unload everybody was wearing masks.

The system runs very smoothly only a handful of spots to unload so long lineups do occur the staff seemed friendly enough considering the job they have to do I liked the fact they use a large magnet on wheels to pick up nails ect, great idea

Poorly set up. Only one booth when you enter so if there's a lineup, you will be waiting a long time. Avoid this location if possible. Kennedale is much better.

Pleasant and efficient personnel. A pretty smooth-running operation, if a little bit cramped. It would be great if someone could come up with a way to recycle styrofoam though. (Just a minor gripe regarding a major problem, not a reflection on the eco-station.)

If the lineup is too busy and you have small appliances, consider parking on 143 street and walking into the garage yourself so you skip the long lines and hassle

It's a bit tight so they don't allow trailers over 10', just not enough room to make the turns to back into the bins.
It's also very busy, the line up often goes around the block, be prepared to wait.
Otherwise great. The staff are always very amiable and helpful.

Some users of this facility should stay home as they are too busy eating crayons while they are there. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Fine there was a line up and l was on my bike. A Nice employee offered to take my space heaters.l had been waiting twenty minutes but he helped me out.

Had a bit of a line up to get in but everything is backed up these days it seems. After about 20 minutes I made it to the toll booth. A very pleasant young woman greeted me and asked what I had to get rid of. I had some old landline phones and an iron as well as a ton of old paint and household chemicals, mostly lawn and garden chemicals. I was told to move forward and there was no charge. I was pleasantly surprised. I would have gladly paid to get rid of that stuff.
I drove into the building and a young man told me where to unload my stuff. It only took a few minutes and someone was collecting the unwanted material as I put it on the designated tables.
Everyone I came in contact with was helpful, friendly and courteous. I was even wished "have a nice day" as I was driving out.
So, free friendly service. How do you complain about that.

Well I had gone to the Coronation Eco Station 3 times today because I had piles of branches my landlord chopped off from 2 large trees. I'm very thankful that the Coronation Eco Station did not charge me for dropping off 3 of the truck loads from my Ford Ranger. Thank you very much.

Friendly staff, will guide you to dispose stuff with instructions. We had tree trimmings and was free. Thank you!

Over an hour wait. Very crowded and not easy to back up to all the bins to unload and must carry stuff to discard.
Most staff were very helpful. The front line dude was unclear and didn't give good direction on where to unload or what line to get into - and that's the whole point of him being there.

Very helpful staff. My trip was quick and easy! Ill come back to this location every single time

Behind mini-van, Only IF you know how to handle a trailer.

Nice set-up for drop-off of residential recycling. Helpful staff and organized site accessible for easy removal of heavy stuff from personal vehicles. Don't bring a 12ft trailer behind your crew cab, too tight for that.

PS - Serious Line-Ups, 30-45 minutes due to COVID/Spring Cleaning.

Line up was worth the wait. Once past the gates, staff were friendly and the process was efficient.

Very long line up! Line up was down the block before opening. Minimal guidance once in! Next time I’ll take the extra time and go to the east end dump.

Usually my go to place but I will be more careful of what I bring. The cooler I brought is coming back home with me since I didn't feel like paying them 8 dollars to take it.

Ridiculous amount of money to trash small amounts of stuff, no wonder people dump stuff where your not supposed to and not to mention one of the staff there is a complete moron

Went two times in the last 2 weeks and both times had bad customer service. First time was directed to put heater outside of service center, but on approach with heater was directed to put the heater back into service center (two different employees suggesting different things). Second time, guy in service center was unhelpful and seemed like he didn't want to help me take out a heavy T. V from my car. I said we will probably need another person since my trunk does not close on its own and if there isn't a person to hold it the trunk will close on anyone under it. He sarcastically said "We? " as in me and him were good enough. These two attempts makes me not want to revisit this location. Hope the City of Edmonton can dull out some training to the staff here, as I can see people not opting to recycle as often if they have bad customer service such as I experienced.
