Costco Wholesale

I am rating this place a 1 star strictly due to the fact that it is way too busy. Not understaffed and I am not complaining about COSTCO other than the fact they need to add more stores. The people at this location are absolutely terrible with no care for anyone else. The parking lot is full of cart left by other customers scattered all over the lot, I even saw ones behind other vehicles, ones left within a couple inches of other people's vehicles and others just right in the middle of parking stalls. I dont know what it is about this location but it seems to attract the absolute worst people you can find in our city. I would make the extra drive to go somewhere else.

Variety of clothes, electronics, food, etc is available over here. It always has less price as compared to other stores. Very busy place on weekends.

Customers were super rude at this store. One person shoved me out of the way on the way out of the store.

On 10/07, at 19: 53pm customer service lady rep, was yelling at customers to line up. Instead of politely requesting them to line up as your lines are not properly marked.
Queue was not well maintained.

On 10/08, we have lined up to fill the gas at 13: 03 and finally finished at 13: 29.
Costco managers to make sure lines are properly managed. Stop people entering in different directions. Especially on the road side.
Costco needs to properly manage things in the store and at the Gas station.

Racist staff and managers! Staff is very mean and irrespecful with clients who are paying membership to do grosseries! My sister and I have been treat very badly that's unfortunate they should be ashamed! Do not waist your money for a membership.very disappointed if these kind of mentality people work at Costco

For the life of me I don't see the attraction to Costco the prices aren't that great it's like going to war with your shopping cart. A lot of stupid people

What is the difference between Visa credit card and MasterCard credit card? Is payment by Visa credit card not beneficial for costo?

I went in a Sunday.very, very busy. Vest to go, if you can, during the week. Great selection of items.

First time really shopping in here an I absolutely love it I think this is a great location with very helpful staff an plenty of options it's great for college students or people with roommates everything comes in bulk an is reasonably priced you can spend 2 or 3 hundred bucks split 2 or 3 ways (however many roommates you have) an be good for a solid month I will return here

Costco was super busy. There was only one pump station working for propane bottle fill up and the propane attendant was very bossy and arrogant the line up was long and he appeared to be wasting time by wandering around the parking lot giving people heck for stopping where they were not allowed I was not impressed by his lack of professionalism. I was there at 15: 30 hours. I will frequent a different Costco in the future.

Please get more gas pumps or help the people looking to get gas get more organized. The parking lot is always a disaster because of this ongoing issu.

Like everyone else, we wait for our turn on the line to pay. Farhana is assisting the customer in front of me. I already noticed that there is a lady waiting on the other end holding a bag of sausage. Looks like she is waiting to be assisted. I knew exactly what is going on. So after the Farhana is finished processing the customer in front of me. She turned around and took the lady’s sausage and ring it in.
Farhana and “that lady” and even the bagger didn’t even looked at me or asked me if it was okay for me to let the lady cut the line to pay for that sausage. I would have let her in anyways since it’s just one bag, but what I am not happy about is, it’s rude to just ignore my presence and not ask for my permission first. I waited in line for a long time for my turn. My time is also important as that lady’s time. And if she was really rushing, they could have send her on self serve check out.
When Farhana started scanning my items, I told her that what did was wrong and she should have ask me first as courtesy. She explained that the lady’s husband was done and paid already but they just forgot one thing- the sausage. I told her that she should have suggested to go the self serve check out. Farhana said that I can complain to customer service. So I said okay because what did was wrong.
She got upset and have the nerve to yell out “supervisor”. The supervisor came, Farhana told her her version. And the supervisor talk to me too, I just repeated what I told Farhana and told her that in all angle where you look at that situation, how I was treated was wrong, unfair and rude. She said that she will talk to Farhana and NEVER HEARD ANY APOLOGY FROM ANY OF THEM.

If you need the quantity then great place otherwise you will need to be ready to through out stuff you can't get through.

I love the seniors hour. Can go in grap what I want and out in less than half hour. No crowd to slow me down. Keep the senior hour. Before I hardly shop there unless I need the food. Now I can check out the aisle and pick more.

Never had cart before going to store while shopping. Staff need to be train for customer service.

I literally just went for grocery just bought 3 items and found out im due for renewal. The supervisor didnt let me buy the items eventhough I said I will do it the next time or tomorrow literally. He just told me you really have a member to purchase sorry. I worked as customer service rep thats the worst service I encounter with position like he is. Please conduct intensive guidelines on how to become good at it. On how he suppose to say with KINDNESS! It its horrible you could think he is not supervisor. Unfortunately with my dismay i didn't able to get his name. But he has beard moustache. Guy with glasses hope you are reading this. You shouldn't be called supervisor your subordinate way much kind than yours.

Very quick lines, will have to visit other Costco's to assess other products that might not be available at this specific store.

I went Costco Edmonton South on 91 st
November 12,2021. I never had good experience there as believed over there it’s all about race. But it’s was all confirmed today. My cart was full over $285 went to till as the cashier if I can have a box as bought tomatoes, grapes eggs, cucumber and veggies…. She arrogantly reply I have no box. I insist said it’s be better if I have box because of the vegetable. No answer she was even more upset throwing eve thing in the car without looking and then call a tall guy that he came and told me if need box you go gets your self we have no time. The funny thing the customer before me who bought bunch of chips the cashier helper push her car to her vehicle as she has other stuff to carry because of course she # color. What closer grab a box in 2 mn or push a car to parking lot. If will be the same race as her my treatment will be different. I’m so disappointed in management I believe it they know how some people been treated #. I told them they put way there stuff as not buying I will go to Webber Green Costco that have excellent customer service.

Using Costco for your photo needs just got very expensive. $120 of product and $50 Canada Post shipping (local Edmonton) for a total of $180. Pick up used to be free. Looking at new venues to get pictures printed locally with free pick up.

This one is super busy lol. But overall they had a good variety of products that some of the others don't have.

I had a terrible experience today. While I was grabbing my groceries with a lot of other customers, it was their closing time. Instead of politely requesting all of us to move towards the check-out, a guy named Marlow started shouting "Get Out, Get Out, we are closed now, Get Out". The pathetic and worst case of customer service I have experienced first time at this location. I complain to the manager but it didn't look like she will take any action. If one more time I see this kind of attitude, I am cancelling my membership. They are not getting my business at least!

Has SO much stuff. You always leaves spending waaay more then you'd like but its usually worth it! This location though is SO busy! And people are extremely pushy!

I noticed the cafeteria workers do not change their glove in between orders. They touch everything with the same gloves and not once washed their hands. Disgusting.

Excellent prices and quality, only question you should be asking yourself is whether you need that much quality?

Busiest Costco in Canada for a good reason. Amazing tv display as you walk in where you can perfectly compare all the big brands with your own eyes, a candy Isle with keto chocolates for whomever is interested, and as you'd expect from Costco everything is super sized especially the meat!

With restrictions being lifted there was no wait to get in. It was quite busy as was expected. Back to normal it seems. I'd say 75% of people were still wearing masks, which is encouraged by Costco but not required.

2 busy and line up every section not worth it the time I spend there is more from the money I save

I love Costco for the freshness of everything I buy especially for consumption. Other stuff are good quality and great price so it's totally worth it for me to be a member.

Some of the cashiers are extremely rude. Their attitude is totally different to the customers with dark skin colors. I complained about a cashier (Marcel) and got embarrassed one more time in the customer service.

I got all season tires installed recently. And I came back to my car to see my car manual and my dash cam and some other items out and laying on the seats. I checked the rest of my car and nothing was stolen. But I'm not happy with them touching and looking around the inside of my car. 2619 91 street NW Edmonton Alberta location.

Well run franchise. Efficient fast food court. Staff have been helpful and friendly. Increasing number of organic products at decent prices. Keep it going! Wish parking lot had less carts strewn around it.

No surprises here. Had everything I was looking for and some things I wasn't. On a busy Sunday, the lines were NOT crazy and I was in and out in less than half an hour.

Gas price good but no window washer this could cause accedents save a dallar but you could die hows that good

Great place for us in remote communities to stock up on none perishables. We have only a winter road to our community, so even online ordering saves us some money as opposed to high local prices.

This location is always uncomfortably busy (like Christmas rush busy all the time, unless it's actually near a holiday; then it's stock up for the apocalypse insanely crowded and I will go to the Costco at the airport), but I appreciate that the staff deals with the hordes of customers with patience and efficiency. I would lose my mind working there so I think the staff deserve medals for keeping their cool.

Good product selection but always too busy/crowded. It should NOT take 35 minutes to checkout your groceries at 2pm on a Monday.

Always congested, not enough tellers. Gas prices are cheap, staff is helpful and friendly. They now have self serve take-out, a plus.

Everytime I come here to get a propane tank filled it always gets lost, sure they provide me with another one, but you write the initials on it, why are you giving it away to someone else? And then try to blame it on someone else when you were clearly the only person working, I just see it as irresponsible

When they increased membership, the reason was to keep prices down.aha.they kept increasing prices. Please roast chicken properly

My husband loves the great munchie sample items, which usually end up in the cart! Vegetables are fresh and crisp.

The food machines are just a horrible idea and the customer service is worst.
We try to purchase Chicken fingers with poutine. The gravy on the machines was not an option (not sure why) so we added the cheese and everything. They would not serve our order and I let them know the machines option for gravy was not working, so one of the lady went to the machine and fix it. We keep waited for our order.finally the lady said paid for the gravy? This is a $0.30 cent item.we waited for about 5 minutes, the least they could it done was serve my order and add the gravy for free. FYI the store was not busy, and for them to make such a big deal for $0.30 cent is just ridiculous.
At the end we didn’t even eat anything as the service was horrible, and I am not going back to this location ever again.

Everything’s big at Costco! So many great deals and selection. Top notch selection. Clean location. Go for the samples leave with a cart full of deals.

Great place as usual.bonus, now they have kiosks to self pay at the food court.last week they ran out of turkey so couldn't get a turkey sandwich! Really Costco?

As always i get best quality stuff at Costco. Best quality fruits, vegetables and clothes. Having a Costco membership is worth. I love shopping at Costco.

We went in for eyeglasses. The lady who helped us was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Their prices for frames are very good.

Lots of good grocery deals but unfortunately not a lot of men's clothing options compared to those for women. I would think if they had winter clothing options for women they could have at least the same for men. C'mon Costco, men are people too.

Employee at cash register didn't want to find boxes as usual. I had to point out some empty boxes 2 cash registers over. I made them put our groceries in boxes and he was quite upset by this.
Extremely lazy staff and it is always like that at this location.

It's a decent Costco - but no Costco Liquor store) : This Costco is insanely busy and it's sometimes more worth it to drive the Sherwood park one. The cashier's are very friendly but are often short staffed.

Friendly staff. May seem expensive but prices are actually cheaper than Walmart and superstore. Quality and quantity worth it. Kirkland brand is awesome.

The staff are very friendly and give out delicious samples. They have alot of great things at Costco.

Hot dogs, fries or chicken!

But sometimes you wait depending on which day of the week you go!
Week days are good, but weekends the wait could be 10 mins or sometimes longer
