Costco Wholesale

This Costco location ALWAYS has the cheapest gas in Calgary (at least 10 cents cheaper than regular gas stations). If not all of Canada! If coming at prime times, the lineups can get long, but move through very quickly. It is worth getting a membership, especially if you shop for groceries. They have all the great deals that you will find and expect in any Costco!

My trip was very good including quick in and out. Everyone was pleasant. Some prices were higher than expected. Ie Trident Salmon Burgers, Hotdogs at $19.99 for 12 not 14.

Lots of variety. I got with a list, but I have never been able to stick to it. I always over and above what I intend to buy here.

Good warehouse. Big parking lot and spaces. Cheap gasoline (about $0.10 cheaper than regular stations). The road to this location is not good.

Rude employee at this location. Treat people differently, lots reviews about how they treated non white customers. I feel the same way, they almost yelled to me, I often feel Discriminated by some of the employees. Yesterday, there was a tall woman name was Kim was yelling to me. She was rude. Costco you’d better to listen those reviews. We pay thousands of dollars there, but mistreated by your rude employees!

Pretty clean Costco. I would say, but I don't think it has everything like the deerfoot meadows one.

The Costco itself is great, but the parking lot is so poorly designed that I'd rather go to other locations if given the choice. The gas lineup blocks the entrance to the parking lot, there are no sidewalks so people, carts and cars are all jockeying for position and the cart parking spots are few and far between so you either walk half the parking lot to put your cart away or you leave it near your car. None of this is the end of the world but just seems like poor planning that adds unnecessary stress.

I love how close this store is to our home. However the poor planning of their gas station and lack of traffic routing at their pumps has made me stop going there. Trying to park at this place to just get to the store is an extremely frustrating experience purely because of the gas station line ups.

I required a scooter, all were in use. The clerks at the entrance and exit doors were very helpful. One got me a chair and the second got the scooter as soon as one was available. Very considerate and pleasant. Store was very busy but no long waits at checkout. Very pleasant experience for the week before Christmas.

As Costco goes, you can find items that are carried at other stores and also unique products. The only bad thing about this location is, there is no cellular signal. So you can't call or text, which means you might not buy things that you are not sure you need.

The only reason I go to this Costco is for the convenience that it’s right next to my home but I will no longer be going to this location. I’ve never encountered such a complicated & negative experience until Theresa the cashier. Since I have 3 people in my family, that being my parents and I, we hold 2 memberships which is it limit. My mother and I were checking out to where I presented my membership and my mother paid the total and Theresa would not accept payment. She told us she will not take the payment from my mother since she does not have a membership although I told her we are all under one household. The only way she would except the payment is if it were to come from my hands. Which then I took the cash and put it down on the counter for her. She held up the line and caused a scene for no reason. But before I even placed my groceries on the till, I saw her being extremely rude to this mother ahead of me. She had a toddler which can be a lot at times and especially when you’re checking out and getting your membership and your child is walking all over the place, just give them a minute Theresa. You don’t have to harass them for a membership before you start scanning the items. You cause such complications to people and after reading some reviews, I know I’m not the only one.

The customer service is zero. I am very dissapointed and stress just to come here, because the employees are rude and not very friendly. I had.my baby in my cart and me and my mom we shared the same cart so we were trying to use the self serve and separate the diferent groceries. The lady helping there made me rush, and honeslty wasnt even that busy, and then the other lady that have to check your receipts OMG, made us feel like we were thiefs or something, checking every one item, and took like a long time to check everything, we didnt even have that many things.but definitely make you feel embarrassed. Horrible place. I rather go to the one in Okotoks, people are much nicer.

I have been at this location (costco tsuut'ina) almost every week and I never have any bad experience like this morning. I have mentioned to the cashier that I would like to have 2 separate receipts, one for personal and one for business. At the end, I had it all in one without subtotal. I told the cashier that is not what I asked with hope that she can fix. She called a supervisor named Kayla over and Kayla told me " YOU JUST HAVE TO PAY AND GO". I was very disappointed of the way that Kayla dealt with customers. No apologies, no explanations. Definitely Kayla needs to improve her customer service skills

I would like to complain about one specific employee named Keyla, she is a supervisor. She is very rude with costumers, she aren’t supposed to be in that position. I am very disappointed!

I had an appointment for winter tire change and they didn't keep to the time, after advising people to come 15mins prior. There's no place to wait while you get your tires changed. I had to wait outside. In the cold

To whoever keeps spitting large pools of spit all over the parking lot near the tire centre, you are disgusting. Do you really need to surround our vehicles in your spit, it was great having to walk in it to get in my truck.

Very nice store. Friendly staff. You have to be patient when shopping as it is a very busy store.

Not impressed. My boyfriend and I booked an appointment for a tire change a month ago to make sure we will have a spot. We both wrote our appointment time in our phone at 9: 45, but Muneed (I think his name) in auto department insist that it was 9. He asked us for proof. Which proof when he didn't even write it down or Costco send any confirmation. The only thing we have is we both heard it, and we both wrote it down on our phone calendar as soon as we heard it. I understand mistakes can happen, but him yelling at my bf didn't make it any better. We're gonna take our car elsewhere

Great location with the Ring road mostly finished. Great service. No line ups even though the store felt busy.

I love to shop at Costco. I really appreciate the quality of the meat, fruits and veggies. You may have to pay a little extra but the quality of the food outweighs the price. I can usually fine everything on my list.

Cheapest gas in Calgary at Buffalo Run. 123.9 a liter. Dont listen to CTV local as their cheapest gas in Calgary is NOT

Love the concession sundaes. Appreciate the sanitizer and Lysol wipes provided around the store. Most things are consistently back in stock now. Definitely support the occasions when entry is limited to members only, as in one person per card. They should do this more often, unless "guest" is from the same household.

I was waiting for my husband at the help desk with 2 full carts, Miki an employee asked me to move against a far wall. I explained I was waiting for my husband right beside me and she said no. I asked for help moving one of the carts and she walked off and left me. My husband left customer service to help me. No one else in the store was concerned and another employee apologized for her behaviour.

Great new Costco. Shocked that there was a lineup outside the store twenty minutes before opening. But I’m told this is normal for Costco. I just got a membership.

COSTCO is a balancing game. So much options, good quality, and sales by volume. In general wholesale purchases are affordable and convenient, but in some cases are not. Membership at $60CAD/year allow you access the place and browse thousands of interesting products, including exclusive costco options under KIRKLAND SIGNATURE brand. In some cases the purchase per volume is not what I need so I skip them and go for regular stores or online specials with lower prices. So do your homework and compare prices. Gasoline price in certainly the best without hesitation.and the delicious $1.50 CAD hotdogs+drink and $6.99 CAD 10 chicken wings!

It is nice store. We always here to buy stuff but there is no mobile signal if you are inside the store. And love to filled up gas here cheap.

Happy to have another Costco so close to home, and the staff are always super helpful.they ask me if I need help when I look confused

I love to go in this Costco location.parking is very spacious, very organize, clean. The only problem is there is no phone signal.

Always love what Costco has to offer. Specifically TAZA has it all the fuel station and Liquor store as well for the one stop shop.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions there are sometimes line ups outside but they move very quickly. People just basically get in and get out. Unfortunately even with limitations on the number of people once inside no one seems to follow any physical distancing measures. Every time you turn around there is some one in your face or reaching over your shoulder for something. Its just a Zoo! Sometimes there is basically no one in the store but the few that are there just can NOT seem to follow distancing rules. It is sad that people just can't read the signs and obey the bylaws.
Hand sanitizer everywhere but I have never seen anyone other than me use it.
I do not blame Costco for all of this because it is too difficult for them to try to control BUT on more than one occasion it has been Costco employees not practicing the physical distancing. Which is disappointing.
Other than this i love this new store. Employees are all pleasant and it is only a 5 minute drive from me. I love that!

I love this new costco. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The store is clean, well organized and the pharmacy staff are unusually attentive and caring. I'm glad they have propane and a well thought out gas bar, and I only wish they had damn WiFi since my cell phone doesn't work in there. I find myself trying multiple times per trip to compare prices online, check my notes or contact someone to share some treasure I found. Customer WiFi would be a great idea. Especially when I'm waiting for a prescription please

Nice clean big store, staff are friendly and efficient. Nice close location so it's not really a major trip to go to Costco. The worst part of this store are the customers who just move around a like broken NPCs. Maybe they are to used to heritage and will become more high functioning once they get used to the layout.

Store was great: people monitoring capacity & lots of sanitizer positioned around the store. Other shoppers, though.how many times do people need to be told to keep distance? Ugh.

I went out this way, Buffalo Run Costco, to purchase eyeglasses for my son. I have found their lenses to be a little more durable than other optometry shops. I also made an appointment see an audiologist to reset my hearing aids. Not only are their hearing aids reasonably priced, I see regular gas price is 88.9 that is the lowest price I have seen on the west side of Calgary.

Was happy to notice an employee tell someone to pull up their mask today. So many places don't have the guts to enforce the mask rules. Good job Costco!

Worst customer service ever. Because we forgot Costco membership card they treated us like criminal specially one Indian lady at front, she has worst attitude. There are more better grocery stores than Costco never coming back to this location.

New store with wide isles, and self serve check out option although there are staff always available to help you checkout. Friendly staff!

This is the best Costco in the Calgary area as far as I'm concerned. Prices and selection are par for the course but it always seems much less busy and customer service has always been great.

Didn't like it. Set up backwards compared to other Costco's. I felt lost in there because of that.
Disappointed liquor store not part of the store like Regina's Costco. Other than that, same as any other Costco. Didn't see anything new or exciting.

The gas bar here is our favorite! Cheapest gas and 24 stations! No matter how long the line up is, it goes by pretty quickly.

Its the widest costco and have a lot of stuff which a regular warehouse in the city might not have. Layed out really well spaced. And important a lot of parkinh spot available. Since beacon doesnt have that luxury of having bigger lot. So i loved that.
Literally out of the city and u cant see a thing at the moment.
Worth the time if u have time since u have to make a special trip unless u live less than 15 mins from the location.

For anyone avoiding Costco because of how busy they always are, the Tsuu T'ina location is awesome! Seems crowded with the cars outside, but inside it is not crowded at all. Fast in/out shopping!

I guess I'm used to the Costco in Okotoks, where customers aren't aggressive and rude, but I thought I'd try the new Costco for a change to see what it was like. Other than rude customers, I found that the staff was generally not as friendly as the Okotokers, and that the lady who put my goods in the cart at checkout did not care which items were placed on which.she really just dropped them in as they came! There is also VERY poor cellular service inside, so I could not call or text my wife to see if we needed certain items. Overall, shopping at this Costco left me flustered and anxious. I will not be shopping here again.

Terrible Costco, went in last month to return something and waited 15 minutes at 9: 15 am, there was only one employee at service counter. Ran in to get wiper blades, no catalogue to look up model I needed but a sign telling me to use their app, they have no cellular service. 2nd Visit today, clerk tells me limit of one Scotties Facial Tissue, I had two and said sorry, there was no Limit Sign, she then scans the Vulcan Nitrile Gloves and tells me limit of one, again I said sorry there was no Limit Sign. This is a poorly run location and agree with the other reviewer, things just seem in all the wrong places.
