Took forever to get my Son a membership, and when all the paperwork was done and photo taken they had all the wrong info on his card.took 30 minutes to get a cars.

While visiting calgary i went into this costco and got extremely sick to the point where i fainted and couldnt move.the staff available at the moment were extremely helpful and caring especially the first aid assistant Trish.she stayed with me until i had left the store safely and gave me a bottle of water to drink from.thank you so much to Trish and the lovely ladies who helped me at that time

I brought my car tire there for a replacement 2 days ago then today nov 24 I received a call come to pick up then I got to the tire centre to pay for the fee the lady who name is NANA working there was so mean and rude she printed out the paperwork the told us just go to the back door pick up the tire and said I don’t know if it is done or not good luck with it the gesture she gave us so rude and not professional as an employee of Costco I have ever think I will get a service like that at Costco

Management should take notice of staff working in clothing section, specifically from Philippines, these women harass customers and don't care for families with kids. There behavior is very intimidating and they don't want customers in clothing section. They treat people other then Caucasian very badly and try to harass them by yelling at them and telling them that Size they are looking is not available, they don't care if customers leave without buying what they were looking for. They don't care because they don't own the business all they do is customers do not touch the clothing. Costco management should take notice of this few of them should be fired from job as they don't want to work but just harass customers not to come in clothing section had very bad experience when my 8 year old daughter wanted to buy a dress, she is scared now and don't want to ho go to Costco.

Upset with my last visit yesterday
as we came for multiple items left with a 900 bill. I have been buying my coffee beans here for years. This trip there was zero beans and when I asked when restocking I was given 3 different answers (soon, not carrying anymore, and no idea). As these are the only beans I can drink. As well as garlic bread was out, how? If it's made in store and the shelf had bread fridge had butter. Is there a garlic shortage? Besides that rest of shopping was okay.

This is one of the busiest Costcos in Calgary. I really wish people would be more considerate of others and pay attention to what they are doing. Dont leave your cart unattended in the middle of the isle and dont stop in the middle of the main isles.move to the friggen side.

If you go later at night it's not busy and you can get through the store really fast. Usually well stocked and fruits are good size.

Costco prices. Costco experience. Very grateful they are on instacart, especially with the anti mask wackos that choose Costco as their bunker hill.

Love this place but dislike it when it’s crazy busy.most prices are very competitive and way less than other places.

Good! Clean and spacious! Plus very amiable and helpful staff! Found out there are some products that are unique here! It is our designated place! Highly recommended!

Great place to get a lot whether that be groceries, booze, or gas is a one stop shop and can get a cheap bite to eat if you're hungry at the end of it all

I can never give 5 star for costco. It's a fish market. Not a very customer oriented organization. They pepole work very hard they are doing a great job

People, please put down your cell phones when shopping. You can't text and drive, and after today, I know people can't text and operate carts.

The busiest Costco in Canada was what one employee told me. Judging by the traffic, it sure does look like it.

Parking is ample, but busy. This is probably the best gas station design compared to all the other Calgary locations.

The warehouse is well-stocked and full. I don't come here as often anymore with the opening of the SW location. However, I usually get everything I am looking for when I am here.

Only thing that is missing and confirmed by staff is no water softener salt.

Walking by a stay shopping cart as you head to entrance? Why not take it with you as you walk by it? You could be saving yourself or others unnecessary damage to vehicles. And you will now have a cart and not have to go find one.

Great Costco. Now that it's not the most insanely busy location in western Canada, I'll definitely shop here again.

I don't mind this Costco. Usually has what I'm looking for. The only downfall is that it can be extremely busy sometimes

Great price, quality of goods and unbeatable return policy. You need to buy in bulk quantities which is the only drawback. For most part you will get Gas 8-10 cents below market price at Costco gas stations though the one at 32 Ave does not have one. You need to be a paid member but Executive membership & co branded credit card cashbacks easily take care of membership fees.

Wonderful experience. They even have jewelry that's 14k. Not the 10k like all the other jewelry stores. They sell real diamonds not the s1 garbage everyone else sells for 10 times the price.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. One of my favourite places to shop, but I ALWAYS walk out spending much more than I should have. My suggestion, go in without a cart so you don’t load it full of goodies. Otherwise prepare for a lengthy receipt that the checker at the door may use all the rest of their ink on.

P. S. Bring back your samples!

The “filing system” at the tire centre is nothing short of hilarious. Taping pieces of paper to the side of the wall. And then wonder why customers are frustrated when things don’t get done because “they forgot” or “oh we didn’t see it. ” I’m actually astonished that during a pandemic with lots of competent people getting laid off, the incompetent somehow get to keep their’s.

Best Costco location in calgary imo. Gas bar gets a little crazy but good set up and easy shopping.

Costco is the shiznit! Super busy though. Wish they still had samples. I miss them. Damn covid.

Ok prices, nice experience, i would advise people to shop here if you like bigger potions of soap or something.

I call Costco my $400 store. I go for specific items but usually end up with stuff I never knew I needed. When they had food testers I bought even more, I might be impulsive? They only take certain credit cards or cash. There us everything you need in this store!

It was okay to say the least, I just think that they should only be allowing some people in to the store not there family's in, because the first thing i saw was "family's" of different religions come and shop and they would sometimes be on there phones, it just makes me upset that Costco would allow this type of stuff and get away with it, while the other people (who are actually following the rules) are doing better then the ones who are not caring. (I'm not trying to be a mean guy but if you want people to follow your rules then DON'T ALLOW SO MUCH PEOPLE IN AT A TIME it shouldn't be a challenge to do it)

I have a very bad experience today and his name is Brandon the cashier guy, very disrepectful. Don't need 1 star but no star at all. I dont recommend this guy at all in the till.he is rude and doesn't know to treat costumer right

There is this chubby guy who puts smiley faces on the receipt which puts a smiley face on my face.

Currently on the 4th hour of walking around, waiting to get winter tires put on my vehicle. It’s also -30° outside and a pandemic (can’t just drink a coffee somewhere).
It would also be nice to get a courteously call notifying me of the delay before I would come in and be told it hasn’t even been looked at yet.

Shoutout to the one lady working the hot dogs and pizza today. There was like 30 of us and she was crushing out the food. They should pay her double. She was all alone but was killing it!

Weekends are definitely Deerfoot Meadows Costco's busiest day of the week. Even still, I was there for a large food order from the serving counter. Everything was well thought out and planned. Even the option of condiments provided.
I've yet to receive the same level of service from any other Costco.

Low stock on some items that I’ve found in other stores. Busy even at beginning of days, store staff is always friendly, and I like it for that as with how busy it is I’m sure it would be easy to get jaded working here. But always professional and courteous but the lineups and checkout are a disaster. Glad they have someone working the lineup organization at least but still a hot HOT mess.

These guys are benefiting as lockdowns impact shopping elsewhere, yet can't pay somebody to collect the carts in the parking lot or for another worker to staff the hotdog stand. Paid $1.58 for a hotdog and pop waited for 22 mins before leaving disgusted, and without the product. Wasn't even busy, just slow, pathetic effort from the 1.5 staff working back there.
Costco will probably come back and say that part of the business is outsourced. What ever.
Drop a grand on groceries get screwed for a buck.

The covid regulations here make it feel like herded cattle. The dairy lady yelling "NO CARTS" in the dairy is welcoming. It makes zero sense why this giant warehouse is open yet other stores are closed. Luckily the okotoks location and the new one are better.

It is Costco, always so many people and the queue can be tiring. Waited almost an hour to do a return.

Tip: use the self checkout option if you have just a few items. Total time saver

Horrible experience. My husband and I go to Costco monthly for years, never had issues, until today. I use my membership card, we have the same bank account? And the cashier was trying to make my husband pay cash because he wasn't the card holder. I grab the card, explaining we have the same account and that we're married. The cashier refuses to take my payment. Calls over the manager, for the manager to say "If he wants to pay, tell him to buy his own card" must of had a stick up her arse.

Too busy today, normally Costco is Awesome! Didn't see much of hand sanitizer and wipes in all place!

One of the busiest Costco in the world. Keeps the stock fresh. The time the fruit sits in the store is measured in hours not days.

This is a complaint for Management specifically scheduling. Mostly in regards to which you guys have only two employees working the food court. I felt so bad for the two women working there as you know it was about 5: 30 pm and they have about 15-20 people standing with orders.

My thoughts are simply how dare you expect two employees to Deep fry food, call orders, get condiments, deal with customer complaints or requests, cut open hot dog bags of 100 and load up all those orders. I felt so bad for them, How dare you guys. I did see some managers standing and gossiping which is why i'm writing this because I don't believe in their competence from what I witnessed.

Here is my simple suggestion: During busy hours (check your sales you will be able to identify those hours) have at least 3 employees in the food court. That way the 6 tills ringing in orders don't result in the back up I witnessed.

I am fine. I got my hot dog. My girl got her chicken strips. Im writing this for the two women who looked so overworked. Those women probably really need this job and have families. You guys are killing it. Put more employees back there.

Very crowded all the time but that's to be expected from Costco other then that all good prices and shopping experience.

I got my tires swapped for the season at costco last thrusday. Upon checking my car I found that I am missing a 500 home depot gift card from the box. Please let me know who I can talk to to report this. I dont expect this kind of service.

Costco's only limiting factors are 1) Letting Men run the check-out tils, which if you observe men are 50-100% slower than ANY woman and 2) only ever having 30-40% of registers operating at any given time. Why have 16-20 check-out lanes when you only operate 5-7 and have lanes backed half way up through the store? Seems to be a simple thing to change as there is always many staff standing and watching the long lines like they love the lines instead of it dawning on them to help take people's money. An odd business strategy that they remains successful with anyhow as on everything else they pretty much nail it.

It is always a good experience at Costco! Stopped by the store it was sardine packed with the amount of people! But we where able to get out in good time thanks to all the tills being opened! Yay Costco!

As this is one of the busiest stores, I find it's most quiet around dinner time 5pm -7pm, and only on the weekdays. Otherwise it's a well appointment store, with lots of stock.

It was ok but very disappointed that they dont carry much of a selection for eco friendly cleaners and detergents.

I had a bad experience with a seasonal tire swap. My appointment was at 5: 30, and I didnt get out of there until 8: 30. They didn't even bring my vehicle in the bay until 7: 00. They need to hire more people or stop over booking. 3 hrs to do a tire change is not cool

I bought 9 cans of beans from this location for a biology experiment.
The plan is to make chili (half beans, half steak, and half tabacso sauce) and eat it all in 24 hours and see what happens.
I will update this review shortly with the results.
