Got a gift card for Xmas

Walked up the the door and showed it

"Umm no you need a membership"

I asked how do I spend this if I don't have a membership?

She said "you go around the corner and you buy a membership".

I left.

Still giving 5 stars but you need to be nicer to people when they first walk in. Why would I buy a membership with that attitude?

Cashiers were very nice. Got there just before 1pm. Tills wide open and then 45mins later, long lineups, took 30 mins to get out.

The tires shop at that location is gonna be my goto place from now on.

I got them to install oversized tires and job was done quick and I double check the lug nuts torque, they were all good.

No scratch or dents on car.

No vibration at highway speed (tires balanced properly.

Buy in bulk at good prices. Various appliances, tools, and clothing. Plus all variety of food.

Great as always. Very easy to fill the shopping cart. The cashier was fantastic and efficient.

I wouldn't order appliances online from costco. They use a third party shipping company that has outrageous delivery timesframes 3+ weeks for a local delivery. Customer care from both Costco and Metro Last Mile just gave the run around and tried to redirect my calls to each other. Only option was to cancel the order.

I’ve had a membership for 4 years now, never once have I been asked to show the back of my card at the front entrance. The next 3 people after me weren’t asked, only me. Why would they do this? ! And then at the self check out, my sister and I went together and both used our SEPARATE memberships and the lady at the self check out was staring at us the entire time, telling her co worker we were sharing cards when we weren’t. Maybe train your staff to have better customer service, and if you’re going to ask people at the door to see the back of their cards ask everyone, don’t single someone out. How embarrassing, I’m ready to cancel my membership, your staff need better training.

Costco, while large, is generally easy to navigate, the staff are friendly and knowledgable, and more than than happy to give out free samples of various foods on sale, from drinks, meats, crackers, microwaveables and one time I saw pizza. The food court is, as ever, always affordable with the reliable hot dog and REFILLABLE drink combo, or a $15 18 inch pizza, or even the chicken strips. Yes, you pay a membership fee, but you get in return a valued experience in bulk sales.

Helpful staff and has everything you need! Sometimes the lineups are long but the staff are super speedy and it moves quick!

Loomis might be alright. But DHL express, who also drops off here, is the biggest disappointment for a professional delivery company since telecom. Late, wrong address, no txt, and driver took pkg to peace r8ver. Strange odor

Felt bad for the tester people though. They had testers out but had to tell people they could only look not taste or touch lol.

I was there the first of August wanting to buy Christmas lights. They had none for sale! Come on Costco. I expect better.

It was a good experience. So much stuff to look at. Stuff u did not even know u needed. Lol. I can't wait to go back. It's a six hour drive for us.

I have been shopping at this location for about 8 years and enjoy going there for groceries, plants and the occasional cost effective and surprisingly tasty meal. My wife and I enjoy the pizza, poutine, chicken tenders and sandwiches the most.

Costco the Disneyland of shopping where you get to stand in line for lengthy amounts of time so you can spend more then you intended and your happy about it.

Actually bareable now that the mask nazis are gone (for now). Been completely avoiding Costco since the policy came in, glad to see it gone

Love the senior shopping hour 8 to 9 am. I applaud Costco for keeping this hour for seniors (and for those with disabilities). And keeping those under 60 out of the store till 9 am.

I love Costco but I do not like the way they run their tells, I'm a grown man and I can decide when and where I go to line up at the till. Most tills have one or two people but the line up is the full length of the store. Let adults decide the till they want to go to.

The fuel lines ups were much shorter here than most of the other Costco locations we have been to. Lots of parking, even for trucks pulling big trailers.

We were in town for a week on our way home from Ontario to BC and came here three times in 7 days. If I lived closer, I would be here every week!

I’ve been to Costco’s where they aren’t that kind to their customers. This Costco isn’t one of them. Go GP Costco!

It's Costco.lol. Had to wait in line to get in (first time ever) but once you get in with the limited amount of people allowed you'll find lots of space to move around.

Surprisingly enough it's more efficient time wise to go on a weekend even if there is a longer line to get in. They have all the tills open and it moves quickly so it looks worse than it is.

My experiences at this Costco over nearly 30 years have been great, save for an encounter once with a Karen. I don’t know how anyone would claim that Costco discriminates against disabled people, since it’s simply not true. Nobody gets a mask exemption at a private business, which is what Costco is. You have several options that aren’t in-person shopping if you refuse to wear a mask like everyone else. I have yet to see anyone who has a medical exemption show actual, non fake paperwork to back up that claim. This Costco is a great place to shop and save a lot of money.

I frickin love costco I always look forward to shopping there, the store is always very clean It never looks run down, high quality products, the employees are friendly. It's just a great experience every time

The intimidation at the entrance suggests they are pretty sure they don't want your business, two thugs at the entrance to stare you down. This is while I was wearing the required mask, in the required manner.

Best price for propane anywhere, lots of people, could have had another till open but wait time wasn't bad.

It'd be nice if they could promote more plant-based items! It would be cool to see something in food menu at their little food court!

What kind of big business refuses to accept a Major Credit Card!? ! Get a grip Costco. What an absolute joke. Conveniently they have a bank machine there, but they will not offset the fee to take money out. What a joke!

When I go here I always know it will be a while even now with this whole covid that's going on in the world. I find the staff friendly but others will probably say no. I never have a problem here with the staff I usually find other customers rude to other customers and not really giving them a fair chance to say what they want to say without getting cut off. I haven't walked out of this store yet but if I do it won't be from the staff that work there it will be from other customers.the wait to get in the store for me when I go there is about 10 to 15 mins and the line up is about 20 to 45 mins.depends how far back you are and how much people are buying

I have used Costco in many places in Canada and United States for my eye ware for many years!
The best service, with the absolutely the best personnel I have ever experienced, is in Grande Prairie Alberta. Your lady, Rhonda is absolutely exceptional. Thank you for the good services.

Discriminatory against disabled person. Do not honour mask exemptions. Expensive. Horrible service. Cancel your membership while you can.

They only accept the cardholders for now except kids. Sometimes there is a line up outside the store.

As always, the Costco staff are helpful when I ask where items are located. I've always had a good experience at Costco.

I shouldn't even give you 1 star you are open and all other stores are closed. I don't know y people go there in the first place.that store makes more money on membership cards then any of the others.

The place is huge and with plenty of selection.found what i wanted and got out fairly quickly.the only issue i have with the experience is, people as customers dont follow social distancing.it seems that most everyone that goes there, think that they are immune to the effects of the pandemic.i will say though this has not much to do with the staff.management should play a more active role in making sure that everyone is reminded about social distancing and keep playing an active role in enforcing what they should be doing.its not entirely costco's fault.customers should be doing their own part as well.i have to say, its not all customers.they also have shielding everywhere and keep things at the tills organized and safe.

It was amazing I came there with my Mom and we did 300 cupcakes for Costco their service is amazing I give five star

Very stressful. Mass hysteria public panic on toilet paper. Ko parking. Line up one end of store to other end. Left my cart empty and walked out like many others.
Not store's fault the customers buying into irrationality.

You know when that big storm is coming in and you wonder to youself. Self, where you can buy enough toilet paper so you can have a Southern style BBQ to get rid off all the freezer meat that will go bad when the power goes out? It's still hot out now though and nobody remembers how long that potato salad has been sitting in the sun? You better get as many rolls as you can. This the place.

Friendly, helpful staff/coworkers and management; quality items and great return policy if quality is compromised; affordable food court and comparative pricing in all the store. Large quantities to last and great rebate programs on MasterCard and perks to go along with the executive membership. Regular in-store and online deals and helpful employee perks. All around a good experience.

Great place, great food at the food court, high quality products.but why does my shepherds pie take so long to cook.mine took 2 and a half hours with still frozen bits in the middle.

If you don't mind how packed it can get you usually can find quite a few great deals here. Especially for surprising Items like the Pokemon card packs I saw today.
