Cozy Nest Bed & Breakfast

A friend and I stayed at this B&B just passing through. I let the hostess (Verna) know we were arriving late and she agreed to wait up. We actually stayed with her again on the way back too. At that time I let her know we would be there around 1am and she offered to leave a key in the mailbox. I was impressed.

Let's be clear: A B&B isn't just a hotel run by one person. It's a totally different experience. Therefore you book it for different reasons and with different expectations.

Verna was a great hostess, asked us when and what we needed for breakfast, had everything ready when it was requested, took eTransfer along with credit card. She's been in business for over 35 years and her place keeps hopping. If it's not overnight guests, then it's garage sales. And every once in awhile she take a month or so off and goes traveling. (even to Prague by herself!)

The rooms were clean and the living room was decorated with different souvenirs from her travels. The front picture window was a beautiful panoramic view of Calgary.

You felt like she was sharing her home as well as her life. And her prices were very reasonable. I would readily stay there again.

It was like my grandmother takes care for us. Surrounding area is like heaven. I am looking forward to come again. Thank you

I booked Cozy Nest B&B for my husband and son. They arrived pretty late after 10pm. The owner waited for them and she's very nice lady. My husband and son likes the place and breakfast. We will definitely come back if visit Calgary again.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Calgary. Host is friendly and helpful, location is also great, nice view on a river next to the park area. I'm glad I stayed there.

Nice place and neighborhood. Ideal for taking walks in the cleaner air there, away from busy roads.

So much more homey than a hotel! The owner is a very friendly and welcoming person, she makes great food, and the house is in a nice quiet area.

We really feels like home.neat and clean. The owner was more mother kind. My son was impressed with her kindness and delicious breakfast and made us to get the same place in the way back home. I can also mention the flexibility of the owner for giving service. The view was awesome.
