I booked an appointment with this company for repairing the garage door which could not be open. The technician came and left without informing me. I called him and asked the repair results. He told me he did not have the tool and needed come back again. I was charged for both trips, truck usage etc. I called the company and the guy told this is their policy.

I don’t recommend Creative Doors, unless you’re comfortable purchasing inferior products and are okay with poor customer service. Our overhead door has a lifetime warranty against “ Peeling, cracking and chalking of the original factory applied coating on steel sections of the product. ” So when it stared rusting prematurely (after 5 years) I reached out to Creative Door to have this corrected under warranty. Their response was: “Rusting on the bottom section only is a result of our environment; water, snow, ice, road salt all contribute to a bottom section rusting and we in western Canada have one of the worst environments for this. ”Your section unfortunately does not fall under the warranty. Rather than simply honouring their warranty obligations and acknowledging that their product does not meet the local climate conditions, they instead offered me replacement quote to replace the door sections at my own expense. A company that expects the customer to pay for their faulty products, seems to misunderstand the importance maintaining customer loyalty has in achieving a successful business. This issue has been ongoing for over two years with no further assistance and resolution from Creative Doors to the point that they are ignoring my requests and the rusting has worsened. I would suggest your research and spend you dollars at a more reputable company that actually stands behind their products by honouring their warranty obligations and who actually cares and values you as a customer.

UPDATETHEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD $142 FOR SERVICE CALL AFTER ALLEN SAID THE SERVICE CALL IS $70 THEY WERE HOPING THAT I WONT NOTICE SO THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THE MONEY. AVOID THIS COMPANY
Sketchy company…they sent a guy for a quote and he said ill send the info to the office and Allen will call you, Allen called the second day to book the appointment without telling me how much, when i asked him how much he put me on hold again and came back with a $1480, i called him couple of days after and asked him how much the quote was he said $1400 but i have to wait 4-6 weeks but the guy who came to my place said they have panels in stock and they can get them replaced the next day.
Very sketchy, no communication between staff and each one will give you a different price.

Called several times with no response. Left my information the first day with no follow up. Not really sure what’s up there, and will say to not expect prompt customer response. Then when the reception asked if I wanted to escalate to a manager … went to voice mail.won’t be using them for any projects personally.

Best place in town for garage door parts. Shawn in parts department is very professional and helpful.

Did everything they said they would do, installer was right on time and cost was quoted and didn't change! Great job! Reccomend them for any door service!

Our garage door quit working and Creative Doors responded quickly to our request for service. Richard Newby arrived and had the door fixed in minutes. He also took the time to ensure all the security on the door was working correctly.
Richard made a very good impression for Creative Doors with his great personality and humor.
We highly recommend Creative Doors as we have had great service in the past with a repair and new lifter.
