The technician called ahead and arrived within the scheduled appointment window. The garage door tube spring was quickly replaced. The door mechanism was inspected, alignment and motor settings were adjusted. The tech was courteous. Happy that the door mechanism is working again.

Booked an appointment for them to repair a door that was previously repaired by them in only September, and they did not show for the appointment because they called the wrong number to tell me they were on their way. They made no attempt to fit me in, or reschedule another appointment in a timely manner and made me wait another week for service.

Dave came today and diagnosed my door problem, saving me serious $$$ by pointing out maintenance options versus a new opener. Been dealing with them for years and always great!

Booked an appt.more than a week ago. They wanted my credit card and a $250 deposit. I don’t have a problem giving it but did not have my credit card on me when I booked. I am a good standing repeat customer. Today, the morning of my appt. I get a call telling me my appt was cancelled and I need to rebook. They claimed they tried to call to get the credit card number but I have no record of their call and they didn’t leave a message. Looks like they are far more interested in money than getting business. I won’t be doing business with this company again.

Work was done on my garage door today. The work was done in a very efficient and professional manner. The repair person arrived when scheduled, went right to work and had the door working again properly in short order.

We have used Creative Door Services in the past. We will not hesitate to use them again and will recommend them to our friends because of the quality of the work and the friendly professional service.

While the part, a cable tube, cost $179, labour for a 45-50 minute job to fix one garage door, cost over $200. Then there was the $10 truck fee which I haven’t seen from anyone since 1988. Total bill: $425.25 I’ve used Creative Door for years but I’ll go somewhere else in the future.

Our door needed an adjustment and new springs. The service is great and efficient. The technician called in the morning to a confirm an arrival time and arrived at that time. Service was quick and door now operates smoothly.

Service on-time as scheduled. Technician was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. Excellent customer experience.

Quite disappointed with this company. I had no option but to call them since they're the manufacturers of my house garage door. I The service price is 175$ and I was charged 475$ for the change of a couple springs. Not the shaft since it was quite expensive as the technician mentioned.

I was billed almost a month after and I never received any breakdown of the costs of the labour or an email confirming the price of it.

Not to mention that a week after my house got broken into because the garage door opened without notice without me being at the house.

Excellent service to fix and service 2 garage doors that had been installed by Creative Door a few years ago. Doors are working again! On time, on budget, and friendly service.

Our door cables failed and they were there out the very next day to repair them. Service man was very polite and efficient. Now we can park inside again thankfully with -29 temps upon us.

Creative Door Services has serviced our garage doors for a considerable number of years. The technician who covers our area is very good and we are completely satisfied with his service.

I am not able to comment on their work as they will not even return my call or service request made via their website. Customer service wise this is horrible. I have submitted 1 service request and left 2 voicemails on the service line.

We have a Wayne Dalton system that was installed at some point in the past and every garage door service company says that Creative is the authorized service company for them. I attempted to get the service from Creative but will end up converting the Wayne Dalton to a standard torsion spring that anyone can service. At least your competitors will return my calls.

Not good service. Garage door wheels coming off the track and damaging the side strips. When called just excuses and blaming home owner. Not again

Creative Door at Calgary, Alberta dispatch staff are very receptive and they reply with in 15 minutes of me sending an email. They are professional and you will get a call or email back advising what the issues are as to how, fix them and quote for the repair/ replacement. Technicians are prompt and will update you of what's happening as well. Rare call backs for the same job.

Needed a bottom door seal. Parts guy Alan was super helpful and after discussing price I think I got a discount for being patient while he got my item.

Would not recommend Creative Door for servicing your garage door. They greased the rollers, replaced one roller and tightened 2 screws. They were here for 46 min and charged us for an hour and a half at $132 an hour.

We have used Creative door twice now. Once for a spring install, and secondly for a new garage door following the Summer hail storm. Excellent customer service both times around. Only thing we did not like was the extremely long wait times for orders, and the limited information on warranty items. Rest assured our needs were met eventually and we would recommend Creative door for all your overhead door needs. Recommended.

Our door was rusted out on the sides and your technician was able to replace the necessary parts, including the bottom panel of the door so that now it works great! He was here when he said he would be, worked efficiently and cleaned up when he was finished. What more could we ask for? !

We called Creative Door when we were having some issues with our garage door. They were very quick to respond and were able to book in a same day appointment for a tech to have a look. Parts guy knew his supplies very well. Didn't have exactly the cable I was looking for or any winding bars but what they did have was the best price anywhere.

I called Creative Door and they arrived same day and on time which was great. They not only fixed the issue (door wouldn't open) but they also addressed the loud motor and squeeky wheels in the track. Small things but really going above and beyond!

We had Creative Doors come out to replace a broken spring and weatherstripping on the side of our garage door. We also had our door serviced as it had not been done in many years. We noticed a few days after the servicing that our door was still squeaking. We called Creative Doors and they sent out an employee to do a follow-up regarding the squeaking issue.

Excellent Service. Had the door repaired the same day a request was made. The service person explained what had happened and why. Also showed me what to do to avoid a re-occurrence.

Nathan showed up on time, was professional and knowledgeable, fixed the issue and even went as far as to explain future maintenance and clear up some other minor issues. I called around and they had the best price as well. Would definitely reccomend and use again.

Did a wonderful job fixing existing door and installing new top of the line garage door motor. All right away at great price.

This was an commercial job. I contracted Creative to remove an overhead door and reinstall the door after a cooler panel had been repaired. I had coordinated another contractor to do the panel repair after Creative removed the door. Creative didn't show at the agreed upon time to remove the door. The repair contractors crew waited for 3 hours before I had to call them off resulting in a $1200 invoice for no work done. After months of being ignored I found out that they redirected the crew from my job to an emergency service call at another customer. Creative would not help pay for the invoice that they caused as a result I have removed them from our approved contractors list. I would not recommend dealing with Creative Doors on any commercial job, maybe their residential service is better. Since removing them we've noticed a 50% decrease in costs of regular maintenance and emergency service calls - lots of better door companies around Calgary.

The work was done same day! The price was fair and the work performed was fantastic! Highly recommend them.

I called Creative Door at 8: 30 am on January 3,2020, as my garage door was not opening, the spring had broken in two. I told this information to the lady that answered the phone and she said that a Technician will come out in the afternoon to replace the springs. I waited till 2: 30 pm for him to come and he was in and out in under a minute saying that he did not have the springs to replace the broken one as they only carry three and he already used them up. I asked him if the office had told him that I needed to have the springs replaced, he said that they did not. I asked him if someone was bring the springs to him, he said no, he would have to come another day. I was so upset that I had been made to wait all day and had taken a day off work as I could not get my car out of the garage and then told that I would have to take another day off for him to come and replace the springs. I called another company (B&W Garage Door Specialists) and they sent a Technician within an hour and half to replace it and were very surprised when I told them about the Customer Service that I got from Creative Door. Then I get a call from Creative Door on January 8,2020 saying that they would have to charge me $60.00 as the Technician had come out on Friday and done all the measurements and all. When I told her that all he did was look at the spring and say that he does not have the part. I also asked her how much he makes an hour that she can justify charging me $60.00 for a minute. Then she tried to justify it by saying that they told me in the morning that they have to come and measure the spring before they can replace it, which I told her was utter lie since no one told me that, nor did they ask for the size of the spring. I told her I refuse to pay as they did not provide me with ANY service and it’s not my problem that they cannot communicate with their Technicians and she agreed to waive the $60.00 as she could not justify it. Creative Door installed our garage door to begin with and I will NEVER call them again. Worst customer service ever especially in this economy.

We needed a garage spring replaced. Creative Door was there on the same day with exactly what they needed, even though I wasn't sure of the model, make or specs. They were quick to arrive, highly communicative on what to expect and speedy in repairing it. I'll be using them again should any other issues arise. After breaking our very old garage door in this freezing weather for a second time we decided to research our options and were delighted with the service and pricing at Creative Door. Everyone was super friendly, the installation guy did an incredible job replacing our old tracks, door and mechanism and he was done in a little over an hour! Super pleased with this company!

WATCH OUT FOR UNDISCLOSED CHARGES AND SUB PAR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Some how my first review went MIA. If you want to improve on your customer service then you need to follow through with action rather than replying with a generic, semi-apologetic response. Take responsibility rather than finding excuses.

This place is great. They have some beautiful doors, parts department is awesome and great prices and everything in-stock. Thank you!

So our garage door broke. Phone up this company, they send out this tech guy to repair. Charge $60 for an assessment to fix the door. The tech tells us the spring is broken after doing his so-called "assessment" to fix the door, and he will come back the next day. He comes the next day replaces the spring (total bill $330) then tells us the operator is broken and that he cannot help us further and left. We called you out to do a full assessment to fix the door. We're not the experts, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE. Tell us what is needed to get the door fixed and we can get it done. Don't just leave and leave the customer hanging without offering a solution.
On top of that the tech guy didn't even take off his dirty shoes when entering our property.
Will never use your pathetic service again
