Crescent Heights Lookout Point

Lovely lookout with a whole view of the city. Sunset is so surreal. One can also walk the wooden stairs which is a good leg burner. Perfect place to calmly sit and soak in all the sun. Also, one can walk along the Crescent Rd NW on a date maybe or with boyfriend or girlfriend as it would be lovely.

This view screams POSTCARD! The perfect place to see the magnificence of downtown Calgary. Looking forward to seeing being up here in the summer. The homes here are also beautiful!

Short walk from Calgary downtown, via fully pedestrianized pathway through Prince's Island Park. 168 wooden stair steps to climb up to the lookout point, with view of the Calgary skyline, Bow River, and the Rocky Mountains.

Crazy! Best place of the city to take the best picture. Doesn´t matter what season you visit the city. That´s the place to take the best "souvenir" of the city.

It’s hard to get tired of breathtaking landscapes where you have the ability to appreciate the silhouette of skyscrapers against the night sky. Beautiful for a stop on date night or just to walk along and see the city!

This is one of my favourite spots so far in the city. I absolutely love to go here for sunset and watch the city lights come to life. The view is amazing.

Pick up breakfast from Hudson's pub and enjoyed the view and breakfast with my wife for her birthday.

Pretty cool lookout, from what i heard the nicest in Calgary! Went at night and came for the sunrise! Night time was dope with the city lights and the sunrise was cool with the sun reflecting off the building

I love to go to this spot whenever I had some concerns or any stress to release it. I think here is a nice place to date as well.

Beautiful lookout point especially at night. We went there to see the fireworks. But from this point it was hard but I have heard there is a different spot in the city to spot fireworks. Apart from this the view was amazing

Tucked away in the community but a beautiful sunrise/sunset spot. Remember to be quiet and respectful to the residents!

The Lookout Point is great but the entire Crescent Road is a fantastic road to bike or walk/jog along. It gives stunning views of the city and the river below while also the mountains in the distance. Easily one of my favorite places in Calgary.

Use to be great to park your car and look at downtown, there is also a path for walking however they have recently made the parking space a bike lane, because of this you cant get the best view anymore in the car.

Amazing spot to just take the Calgary downtown in, and maybe shoot a few photographs. There's a bunch of stairs here, and I've seen people climb them up and down as an exercise, which I really recommend, because you will not get tired of these views.

A tip from an amateur photographer. If you want to take pictures, I recommend going here just before sundown on a cloudy day, when the clouds are orange and red. Or wait until its completely dark, so you can capture the lights of downtown. Either way, go here and take a camera. You won't regret it.

Amazing place for photo opportunities! Love the view at night or during the day! Highly recommended. If you want to get a workout on, take the stairs down!

Gorgeous viewpoint of the city. Lots of activity but no picnic tables or benches. Lots of free parking.

Overlooking city lights and high-rise building is a stress reliever.street parking are closed when I drove there after midnight when I took those photos.

The city really needs to close this road again and leave it for pedestrians. Really disappointed in the decision to open it to cars, most of which are just parked anyway.

Beautiful time to take your dog walk along the edge and take a picture of all the beautiful lights thank you so much to the people in the neighbourhood there brighten my My heart during this time of covid 19

Love this lookout. Looking down the river towards the mountains or looking down on the Bow River and Princess Island.the view is absolutely stunning from here.

It used to be much better BEFORE the City of Calgary removed 2 to 3 Parking spots right on edge of hill! I used to like to sit in my auto eating a meal, and reading the newspaper. Now I can hardly get a spot there because other people leave their vehicles parked, then go for a walk! City should put up signs that say, "If you Park here, you must be in your vehicle". Then those of us who want to enjoy the view of downtown would have the opportunity.

One of the best places in the city to get a good view of the downtown core. The views from here is good for a background photo for a variety of things, Facebook, wall papers, framed art etc. It's also one of the closest, places in the city where you can view the July 1st, Canada Day fireworks, and it is simply amazing. You can find alot of people here, depending on the weather and time of day, running, cycling, taking pictures, parked in their cars while having smoothies, burgers or icecream, running on the stairs that go up the hill, all while appreciating the views.

This is a perfect place to enjoy the view of downtown Calgary, just enjoy the view and relax here.

Crescent Hill never gets old, always amazing to visit and watch the sunset and downtown buildings.

Be careful of parkings at night. Make sure you don’t go too far and stay close so you don’t get a ticket. Otherwise enjoy the view!

I personally think this is the best sight in Calgary. There is nothing else that beats this. The View is awesome be it in the Summer or Winter. Of course summer is a bit glamorous:)
