Good: Opens 7 days a week. You can wash your hands and coins in the basin near the exit (contactless) before you go.

Reminder: Only DRINK containers are accepted. No food (or soup/ canned beans) containers.

As mentioned in many reviews, I experienced under counting as well. I wonder if they can be audited. I think they should be to keep them honest. I hate scammers

If I could give this bottle depot 0 stars I would. Brought in an entire years worth of bottles and cans today and left with $80. The lady was taking the glass Starbucks bottles you get from the grocery then tried to change her mind halfway through and tell me that they didn’t take them. They also refused to take multiple bottles that said right on them that they were applicable for a refund. When I began to ask why they were not taking things that stated right on them that they were applicable for a refund another girl came over and said she had “counted everything” printed our ticket and made us leave. I will never come back to SCAM of a depot

Dishonest workers that undercount. And then they have a tip box when you get your money back…unreal. When you confront them on the undercounting they say you’re the one that is wrong. Will not be coming back and would not recommend it to anyone.

This is honestly one of the best bottle depots I have been to. They are clean and very efficient. Even more importantly, I have never felt that I have been shorted on my returns.

Count careful. When they do their small cans they grab in groups of 4 or 6. Today when I went in he did this 12 times in groups of 6.then took my cans and mixed them up with others before putting the number in the computer and then only gave me back money for 57 cans. How do you argue then. Don't let them put your items with others until they have entered because ryou can't demand a recount if they do.

Havent been here in years ans now i remember why. Filthy and slow beyond belief. Took forever. Since Spyhill opened i was going there. But now that the Bowridge depot is open behind COP there's no reason not to go there. Super fast and clean, automated sorter and people are friendly. Never ever again here.

We gave Crowfoot Bottle depot a second chance with our bottle drive this weekend, and were super happy with the service. I Called and gave them a heads up that we were coming and they had staff waiting outside to help us unload. They assigned 5 people to count bottles and we were out of there in record time! Extremely helpful. We'll be back!

Crooked.twice now I have been ripped off.told the guy he missed 8 bottles.and he just glared at me.and continued to stare at me as I left.very rude staff.station 7

I was there today afternoon, staff was doing well despite the hot weather. One lady in front of me was very inconsiderate as she used abusive language without any reason why? I couldn't understand! You must go there and share your true feelings.

Seems silly to review a bottle depot but this depot consistently undercounts, as many other reviews have stated. I counted 53 glass bottles while he registered 26. I always try to point out their errors but they are never willing to correct it. Avoid this depot and go to Vecova if you are in the NW. I suspect I lose 10-20 dollars each time I visit here, at least. According to their reviews here they’ll review video footage to recount. Highly recommend people start doing this and maybe they’ll finally stop undercounting people.

Clean place and fairly friendly staff.
Unfortunately, I did experience myself the under-count today. Today I lost I would say $10. I am positive that the count of many 10c bottles was not registered. I did not see the staff registering it after the count (she placed the bin behind her, talked with other staff and then continued counting the few that was left). The amount on screen was not changed either, though the staff assured me it is on the receipt. After 3 tries of explanation, I gave up.

Some of the people here are honest. Some are not. I watched a guy take over for a different person who was helping me and under counted. He is a younger guy and tries to grab a lot at a time so you can’t see and keep up.
Never really experienced this previously when I came. I would pre count before going.

This place has turned their business around. They have done a lot of repairing and made it look so much nicer especially in the front end where staff work a little happier. I think they count your bottles and cans more accurately than they used to. I have an easier time going to them now than I ever did before.

Very crowded in side not much organization at all on what lains are open also it seem that every time we use this place we get ripped off on how much money we get back for our bottles very frustrating waiting all this time and not getting much back for our returns

The bottle counters at this depot are slow and walk away half way through their count. I much prefer the crack head counters at Bowness depot who seems to actually want to keep their job.

Friendly staff, but pretty sure they under counted. Over 14 flats of cans should have been well over 300 cans, credited me with around 200

This bottle depot is close to home and therefore convenient. Every single visit has resulted in them miscounting, in their favour. I have pre- counted bags with bottles and they always, ALWAYS count in their favour. I will continue to go here but I hate that they do this!

The guy who counts the bottles He did not count some of it and when i told him he was pretending like he didnt know. I just wanted to report this, so this wouldn't happen again next time. I was there 10am and he's on the counter 3.

I was impressed with the renovations and the much cleaner floors and your new carts. Best of all I received a friendly greeting when I approached the counter and was thanked when he gave me the refund slip and a smile. Thank you.

OMG! I can almost not put into words how terrible this place is. One time going here is enough. Customer service is abysmal, counting abilities (well there are none, they don't know how to count or deliberately do not count accurately,) management (is there management or just a bunch of clowns running around playing the role of management? Because no one here has managerial skills.)
I wish I had read the reviews before coming. Would have saved myself some time and the nightmare.

Wish I would have read all the reviews prior to bringing bottles to this depot. Not a very reputable business with terrible counting abilities to boot. Especially feel bad for the groups that fund raise here and don’t get their fair allotment. I will not be returning.

Enjoyed reading family and friend positive reviews. That just goes to show how reputable the business is.

We organized a bottle drive for a U9 girls soccer team and after 4hours in the depot, regrettably management felt it necessary to undercount and mis-tally to almost a 50% reduction. We will never use this depot for a fundraiser ever again. Beware, they are hugely dishonest. Shame on you all.

In response to the Owner, I don’t believe you are an individual of character or integrity, so reviewing 4hrs of 4K video will do nothing more than waste more of my time. This is an approach I’m sure you’ve used on many occasion with those who have reviewed you poorly in the past. Besides, you tallied our refund by hand when you clearly have computers with customer facing monitors available. None of which were turned on, allowing you to conveniently lose a number of tally sheets which would have amounted to at least a $1000 dollars or more.

Instead of confronting you in person, I’ll be taking this issue to the Better Business Bureau and will be filing a complaint with the City of Calgary to review your business practices.

The fact that your response insinuates that we asked for a “donation” from you, when all we are asking for is the refund money for the bottles we brought to you.is disgusting.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE.

Customer service is terrible and non-existent. You can tell right away how badly this place is managed; employees don't smile or say a simple "hi". All these one star reviews are 100%correct.
To management: no, I dont need your "apologies", how about training your staff to provide decent customer service? You provide words of apology and no action to resolve this terrible reputation you've given yourselves.

This place is horrible, and it gets worse all the time. It's a bottle depot so one doesn't expect customer service to be perfect, but one should expect the servers to at least speak and comprehend basic English. Enough to answer at least basic questions from customers. But the guy with grey beard and turban that served me was completely clueless when I asked him about his counting because I was counting along with him and he still kept entering the wrong numbers. Not only was he completely unable to understand or to speak English but he was outright ignorant and rude. To make matters worse he smelled offensive.absolutely disgusting. From my experience not many of the employees were much better, there won't be any more experiences here, I have visited this place for the last time. This is the worst, most disgusting business I have ever been to, not just in Calgary but anywhere. I'll go anywhere else to take my empties, no matter how far I have to go. Absolutely disgusting!

The guy sorting out my recyclables was the slowest worker I've ever seen in my life, and he wouldn't even open the bags, he just stared at me and waited for me to do his job, Not impressed with this terrible service.

I think people who have written reviews expect too much? I don't know. I've been coming here for 6 years and they've been honest with my bottle count. Yeah, they aren't super friendly but I mean, I wouldnt be either if I was getting paid minimum wage, next to no tips, felt under appreciated and had to deal with customers who treat these workers like they are invisible. It's a bottle depot. I don't know what people expect.

Horrible experience today. I don't need the employees to be friendly, but polite would be nice. The guy helping us was mad at something, muttering, stomping away, yelling at other employees. We were uncomfortable the entire time we were there, not sure if we were about to get screamed at or not. The underlying hostility and tension was just awful. There is a good chance we will never return.

Edit to reply to owner: The employee in question was not new, we've seen him before and had in before. He wasn't pleasant before, but not as hostile as today. If he was frustrated with working with new employees then that's unfortunate. Not a reason to make customers feel unwelcome. We were there about 1pm, station 2.
