Dr. Matta is one of the worst physicians I've ever met! She has no time for her patients, some of which require ongoing tests and requisitions. I had been seeing her for several years, at first she was alright but then overtime her clinic became way too busy and I tried to get in for appointments and she was booking 3-4 months out so I'd have to go to the after hours clinic or emergency. I would often utilize the email portal Brightsquid which the clinic is setup for to get results of tests and ask for requisitions for ongoing cancer screening. She told me I was utilizing the email way too much. Why, because I'm asking for requisitions for upcoming tests that I am required to have for cancer screening for the BRCA-1 gene? Because I am being proactive? All I had asked for was a requisition for mammogram/ultrasound and a CA-125 test (CA-125 test was done years ago and the breast ultrasound/mamogram along with MRI every six months and was due for another breast ultrasound/mamogram). She tried to give her reasoning which made no sense whatsoever. I told her to please discontinue my care. Save yourself the time and find a doctor who actually cares and has the time to see or speak to you on the phone.

After speaking to Dr. Matta I went to a walk in clinic close to where I live and the Doctor agreed there should be no reason why I was unable to get a new requisition for upcoming breast mamogram and ultrasound along with the CA-125 blood test. As per the genetic clinic I am required every six months for alternate screening, MRI and ultrasound/mamogram. He said going forward any tests I need he would be happy to help provide the requisitions for. He validated my concerns and I felt heard as a patient.

I am relieved that I no longer have to deal with Dr. Matta anymore. I urge anyone that has had similar issues to find a new doctor ASAP! It should not be an issue to get a requisition especially if you have a genetic disposition that elevates your chances of getting cancer. It had never been an issue in the past getting requisitions/test results with Dr. Matta over Brightsquid but all of a sudden it was. Also what is the use of getting tested for a genetic mutation if your family doctor can't even give you the requisitions to have the appropriate testing done? I will be chatting with the genetic clinic where I had the testing done to advise them of this issue along with AHS.

Clinic staff are also friendly.

Best medical clinics, I changed my family doctor to this clinic and it was much better. The wait time is fast, the wait in the room is short, and overall the nurses and doctors are very professional and kind.

I do find that I’m never there for longer than anticipated which is why I love it.

Excellent staff and - even given the large number of patients they have, there is still a clear desire to make sure each patient is looked after as best they can.
Dr. Dale Utigard, especially, is an excellent diagnostician and is always interested in the latest research - truly a doctor with commitment to stay current and offer the best care available for the condition you are seeing him for.

This location is an absolute joke and they cant seem to figure out the difference between a "b" to a "d" or a "p" to a "q". I will not get specific qith the doctors as this review would take forever but in short I had to attend the 1 year Pain Clinic Program a total of 2 times in a 3 year time span. The first time went so-so and again I can't get into why I say so-so. I was prescribed 2 medications under recommendation of 2 of the doctors on a team of 5.while when I go back 2 years later, this new team of doctors said i didnt need either of them, and it was just mind blowing that 2 teams can have such drastically different diagnosis on a single parient. I wish I could give a negative review but 1 star is the worst I can give.i guess I will say that the team councilor was very sweet and caring and I actually didn't mind seeing her. I will not give her name either, as I am trying to keep this professional.
