Cruise Canada RV Rental & Sales

Nous avons loué un camping car (type C19) pour un voyage de 3 semaines dans l'ouest canadien entre les rocheuses et l'île de Vancouver.
On a apprécié ce camping car pour sa taille, ses fonctionnalités et sa conduite agréable.
Lors de la prise en main tout est très clair. On nous fait visionner une vidéo explicative de 30min sur le fonctionnement du véhicule. Un manuel technique très complet est également à disposition dans le vehicule en cas de besoin. Permettant souvent de régler soit même des dysfonctionnement mineurs.
Nous avons vérifié aussi souvent que possible la pression des pneus et le niveau d'huile comme recommandé. L'huile n'a jamais bougé et nous avons regonfler une fois les pneus. Nous n'avons eu aucun soucis d'ordre mécanique avec ce véhicule. Toutefois, le gros point noir est la consommation du véhicule. Même en ayant une conduite économe, on passe constamment à la pompe. Quasiment 1400$ de dépense pour 17jours de location et 3200 km parcourus.
Pour ce qui concerne l'intérieur du véhicule, nous sommes globalement satisfait. Mais nous voulions tout de même signaler que les voyants de niveau d'eau Grise et Noir sont erronés. Le voyant les eaux grises ne fonctionnaient pas du tout. On se référait au niveau des eaux claires pour vidanger les eaux sales.
Certaines LED fonctionnaient mal. Elles s'éteignaient dès que l'on fermait les tiroirs ou placards de la cuisine. Nous devions systématiquement toucher les fusibles pour que les LED se rallument avec une intensité assez variable.
Le faitout de très mauvaise qualité, avait le fond qui cloqué sous l'effet de la chaleur. Pourtant, on ne faisait que bouillir de l'eau dedans.ce qui est nocif pour la santé.
Il y avait une fuite d'eau au niveau du toit des sanitaires. Quand il pleuvait, l'eau s'infiltrait. Heureusement, il n'a plu que 2 fois pendant notre séjour et la fuite restait concentrée dans les sanitaires.
Nous avons eu un passager clandestin, certainement une souris.
Nous sommes tout de même ravis d'avoir voyagé grâce à Cruise Canada. Ces derniers points ne nous ont pas empêché de profiter pleinement de notre séjour

The kits are incomplete, elements that are advertised are missing, the explanation they give you of how things work is insufficient, the caravan despite having 20k km, the engine was not running as it should, the interior was dirty and the interior finishes suggested that It was much older than indicated, we also forgot some Salomon boots inside and when we went to look for them they were hanging around until we indicated that we had notified the office, none of the exterior locks of the compartments worked, better to keep an eye to Canada Dreams that the caravans seemed better.
The table was poorly screwed because it must have been loaded before, so when we went to make the bed we realized that they had left it fixed, and looking at the screws it was full of holes.

It was the first time I experienced traveling in an RV camper. After renting a car here and ordering the RV car, I started a journey of more than 1,500 kilometers. I traveled in Banff and Jasper National Park for about 10 days to visit various attractions. I learned this The connection of car electricity, tap water and sewage pipelines, driving a vehicle that is close to 8 meters long and 3 meters wide on highways, urban areas, rural areas and national parks has left fond memories.

Best choice we could have made. The Motorhome we rented got us from California to Georgia, with our Animals. Best choice we could have made.

Le véhicule consomme énormément 25L/100km moteur ford V8 de 7.2L meme avec une conduite tres éco
le véhicule est trop bruyant quand on roule
équipement un peu vieux par rapport a la concurrence
évacuation de douche bouché
les temoins de niveau d'eau était faussée
un voyant moteur après 100KM mais qui nous a rien causé après 2000KM de route
explication lors de la prise en charge trop brève

en résumé le véhicule est bien fait faut pas etre difficile et ne pas regarder dans le détail c'est des véhicules américain qui par rapport a l'europe sont beaucoup plus gourmand et beaucoup moins bien fini et équipé le véhicule fait camping car des années 2000 -2010 mais ils nous a permis de passer de super vacances

We had a great time camping over the weekend. Can't believe were able to booked a motorhome in such a short notice. We were lucky in some sense, because mostly they are fully booked by this time of the year. And thankfully staff were so helpful. The price is competitive and the unit is clean. I mean you don't have to break the bank to experience Rving, to reconnect with the nature. Overall we are satisfied with the whole experience. Will difinitely recommend to my friends! Cheers!

Buyer beware. Only use Cruise Canada (CC) as a last resort. Their website which says “your stress-free convenience” is false. Our negative experience started when our flights were changed at the front end and back end of our trip. CC guarantees flight change impacts would be accommodated at no charge. False claim. CC staff shared that reducing our reservation by one day on the front and one day on the back of our reservation would actually cost us more. So we had to pay for two days of rental ($365 plus tax per day) and did not even use the RV. Financially better for us to pay nearly $750 for nothing than to ask CC to reduce our reservation due to flight changes out of our control.

Then our negative experience continued once we got the RV. After having to pay for all of their “upsells” of seemly necessity stuff like bed linens and towels (yes, believe it or not, these are NOT included in the cost of an RV) we found out that these linens were not in the RV ready for us. It wasn’t until we left the establishment did we discover, after a double check, we did not have everything that was promised to us. Alas, no linens were found. We had to go into the RV place again, ask for the linens, go into the back, grab it ourselves, and carry them across the parking lot.

Once we started driving, we noticed that the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. This continued for the reminder of our 1,500 KM journey through the Canadian Rockies. Opening and slamming shut with every bump…

When we got to our first campground without electric hookup, we noticed our second and most significant issue…No generator. Before leaving the rental place, a staff person clearly explained the operating procedure of using the generator, i.e. Ensuring the air conditioner unit is turned off, flipping the generator switch, etc. We watched the introductory video. We read the manual in the RV. When we tried to turn on the generator at our first Campground, we discovered we did not have one. Had we known this, we would have ensured we stayed at campgrounds with full electric hook up. When we brought this to the attention of the staff at the rental place when we returned the vehicle, they mentioned that that vehicle doesn’t ever have a generator on board. It’s only on their US vehicles. We booked though the US site. BUYER BEWARE, read ALL the fine print. We had no charging for our laptops, iPad, and phones and no microwave or outlets.

The staff has done nothing to rectify these issues. After having such a negative experience, we checked the reviews of this place and wish we would have looked at the reviews before renting. Could have saved us over a thousand dollars with all the additional fees, not having the ability to adjust our rental period, etc.

Very sad and frustrating to see businesses operate in this fashion with no recourse for visitors. Stay away at all costs.

I purchased a A23 Majestic motorhome from Cruise Canada in Calgary. I decided to add an Onan 4000 generator in January 2022 since we plan to do lots of boodocking this year. I could not find anything online on how to install the generator in the former rental unit. I decided to ask the mechanics at Calgary Cruise Canada for help. The staff was more than happy to answer all my questions. Great bunch of guys, very knowledgeable.
With their expert help. My generator is in and running perfect. Thanks agian Joe

Tried to get information about buying one of their used motorhomes in Calgary. Left messages no one returned my call. Tried calling 8 or 9 times but no one answered. Even Tried their unit rental office and still did not get anyone to talk to. Gave up went elsewhere.

Was best experience ever have used them 4 times we fly from Vancouver drive the rv to my moms property in Carolina Park on the property enjoy the time have our own space comfort then drive it back fly home great visit and not expensive. Awesome thanks

Great value to rent an RV for a camping trip. Easy to book and pick up. The RV was in good condition and clean.

There were some glitches but overall the experience was great. Issues were resolved and rv was great. We will rent with them again. Main issue was grey water indicators was not working.

It was a great trip to Banff and Jasper using RV from Cruise Canada. We could have meals and naps any time we wanted. The price was attractive, the shop location was convenient and everything in RV worked fine. Minor thing that I want to mention is the air conditioner and heater are a bit noisy. Especially heater had some dusty. But, by the way we really enjoyed RV trip.

We had the most amazing time and experience travelling through both Jasper and Banff National Park! The prices are competitive and extremely reasonable and offer much more value than having to rent a car and also book pricey accommodation with the headache of packing/unpacking everyday. It was quite simple and did not take us long to figure out how to operated all of the functions of the RV. Pick-up and drop-off was painless and efficient.

We did have trouble with our shower and called for help which was not very helpful, and we ended up having to figure it out ourselves - that was really the only negative of our experience. That and our table did not work very well, but the company ended up crediting us when we returned the vehicle and mentioned this.

10/10 would recommend for your next adventure!

First time using Cruise Canada and it was great, the vehicle itself was clean and the engine is powerful enough to move the beast. One thing I didn't like though was the loud noise the heating does to start.

First time renting an RV with some friends. Service was great, as newbies we were a little worried about if we could do all the RV stuff but we got a full and comprehensive walk-through at pickup, we ended up calling roadside assistance once and that experience was also seamless and well organized. RV culture is very welcoming! Fantastic experience, I will definitely consider renting from Cruise Canada in the future.

I went to pick up the RV we reserved. Steven helped. He still remember we rent from them last year. He put aside a RV according to our request. He did the walk through with me in detail. Excellent customer services skills. Highly recommended to rent with them.

Smooth experience with cruise Canada. Beautiful units that looked even better in person. Everything g was clean and ready to go. They were accommodating with alternate drop off times and price was good. Only thing was I tried calling a few times after drop off to make sure everything in the unit was fine and up to their standards (I dropped off after hours) but I never got through or got a reply. I guess that means all was good though!

This rv Rental was the most beautiful and easy trip ever to book, for me a single father and my three older children had ten days out all over out west and the RV MOTORHOME 30foot was so clean and easy to use and the driving was not bad at all to drive and park, I even had to call and extend my stay one more day and it was easy and smooth right over the phone and it was done…. My rental because of it be right at the end of COVID-19 bookings where lower rates and that was the icing on the cake.

Now my kids had the most fun we ever had on any trips we are now going to rent motor homes every year from now one each year as a regular trip.

I can’t thank Cruise Canada enough for bringing my family’s memory’s even more closer and connected with the motorhome running so easy and stress from to operate it and drive it and fuel up kept all the family cozy in beds and so much room for the older kids to have there space apart at night.

I do recommend the 30’ motorhome as it has the generator and most space it all is the most benefits on the trip a must have going on long trips.again very simple to run and service and clean out and return, so basic my kids will be getting the next booking so dad can relax on his holidays thank you.

We had a great weekend renting from Cruise Canda, staff was very professional and super accomodating, especially Sabrina. She helped with the pickup and return, she explained all the things to do and not do so made it easy to use. The RV itself was very clean and had no issues. We would definitely rent again and recommend them to anyone wanting to rent an RV.

We enjoyed having the motor home for our camping trip to Exshaw and Banff. We had to attend a wedding at Exshaw, and it definitely served it's purpose. The one thing we noticed, was that the floor of the motor home was very dirty. I had to scrub the floor on our second day out. I also found the height of the toilet was a bit much. As a senior it really bothered the back of my legs. The large door to the outside storage area did not lock. We only used it for storage of beverages. Also the drawer beside the furnace was broken so we didn't use it. It makes me question the maintenance of the unit. The shower and the cooking area was was great. I enjoyed using them. As seniors we found crawling in out of bed was cumbersome, but we did have a good sleep most nights.

Renting the RV for a weekend camping trip with the family was a breeze! The pick up was smooth, it was easy to drive, and when we dropped it off, they took care of everything for us! I will definitely use them again.

Getting your RV and returning it is very simple.it is a short process and it runs smoothly as long as you have all the required documents.

The RV we received was clean but sticky, so we had to go over it again and clean it. I am not sure if a cleaning person actually cleaned the car, or just the previous RV renter.

The personal kits and kitchen kits were a mass, we had to check that we received everything we paid for, and we found a lot of gaps which we had to go back to the office and request, e.g. We had 14 spoons and two forks, some of the personal kits missed sheets or towels, etc.

Going over the RV with the representative was kind of lean and missing info, but it might be related to the girl who showed it who was less familiar with the process.

We had no technical issues, and everything in the RV worked well.

When we returned the RV we received compensation for the milage we didn't use.

It was our first RV trip, and we are looking forward to our next one:) so overall the experience was very good

We had great fun cruising around our province in the larger motorhome model this year. It was easy to drive and very comfortable to live in for a week - way better than tenting, that's for sure! The air conditioning was so great to have before bed and the shower and toilet are a real bonus. The staff is very friendly and we found the Manager Steve to be incredibly accommodating and helpful. This is 2 years in a row with a great rental experience and we'll do it again!

Overall it was amazing experience. When reached to rental location, Everything was already ready. It took less than 10 minutes to complete the rental process. Staff was friendly and explained all the features in detail (as was renting RV first time). No issues with RV. It was in good condition. While return the process was simple and quick to return.

Only bad experience was we left our Parks Canada yearly pass hanging in back mirror. Late in the day we realized it and called next day morning but they were not able to locate it. He said he will check with the team if they can find it but haven’t heard back.: (

Update: Received call today, they found the park pass and will be collecting tomorrow.

Great experience for a first time customer, we went on an amazing 3 family road trip and it turn out to be an amazing experience! Generally the units were ok clean, though I clean anything I rent regardless before and after use. We requested the newest fleet with leather seats and wasn't a problem for them. Upon pick up I switched mine due to tread wear and wasn't a problem for them either. One thing to note is the back up sensors should be checked and replaced if needed. Overall, I would recommend and look forward to this summer for a second trip!

Great service and the RV was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our week away at the lake. Price was too good to pass up. Would definitely rent from them again!

We had some issues with the vehicle but, they had the best price compared to other companies and we used to own one so we knew what to expect. I wish I would have realized that the Canadian models do NOT come with genny before I rented - thankfully, hubby caught that before we left. I had to buy some repair stuff but, they fully reimbursed me. I've rented from them in the past and would rent again.

Great price and great service. Got someone late on the phone when we needed help and was easy to communicate. Easy drop off, but would have like a bit more information at the pick up. Overall a great experience and loved our RV.

The only thing that topped our memories out west was the ease of the rental process and customer service from Steve, who was especially enthusiastic to make our experience the best possible.

First time RV renters and it was for a special vacation almost last minute during the COVID-era and my wife and I couldn’t have been more happy with our decision! We booked it online, reviewed the videos and manuals, then on the day of pickup things went quickly. Questions I was armed with from researching previously online and observing peer reviews were sufficiently answered and before we knew it, we were on the road. Driving the RV was just like driving a 1 ton or a large cargo van (I have had past experience so this wasn’t anything different, actually it was easier than expected) and I didn’t have many hesitations because we purchased the “peace of mind” insurance for about $7/day from the dealers. We filled the gas tank ($75), the propane tank was already full (3/4) and this lasted the two of us for 6 days until we returned it. We also just went to our campsite and back but I was cooking with the gas stove daily. The RV was clean at acceptable standards and they included the camping package by accident but we didn’t use any of the items, nor looked at them, at all seeing we had already prepared our own. Being in the outdoors was amazing, the heater worked beautifully - automatically shutting off then restarting maintaining the interior temperature, the water heater takes about 10 mins to heat up so if you’re taking a shower just hit the button before you begin. The water tank was refilled by me a couple of times which was very simple as well as draining the sewage/waste tanks. Having the comforts of home and being able to enjoy the outdoors in a remote location was the perfect special time we were yearning for.thanks to CruiseCanada for an affordable and delightful time. We had no troubles with our drop off (we had prepaid for some of the services like propane to make it faster) and retrieved our deposit within a timely fashion. The customer service was kind and professional both times and we are definitely not only going to book again but have given much praise to our family and friends who in return have planned their own CruiseCanada excursions!

Good services, the compact RV we rented is clean and low mileage, easy to drive. The staff there are friendly, will definitely rent again in near future.

At first I was hesitant with the some poor reviews but I cant say enough good things. Pick up and drop off were both smooth and service was excellent not to mention $500 less for a weeks rental over their competition. Was clean and well maintained. Definitely will use them again.

Rented a rv and drove out to the west coast. Amazing experience. The manager at the store in Calgary was amazing.

Simple process to book and get the RV. I bought the kitchen package (plates, pans, cutlery etc.) and unfortunately there were items missing there.
It's unfortunate that we could not leave our car there.this could be improved, it is very inconvenient to go back home or look for parking lots to leave your car.
Overall the experience was very good.

We enjoyed using Cruise Canada. Reasonable prices and good, comfortable RV. Sleeping Mattresses very comfortable. We got the largest unit. We had 4 adults and 3 children sleeping in it comfortably and could have still fit more. Very Fun Road Trip.
