Got a big rock chip on my practically brand new windshield. Came here hoping to have it fixed asap. Did they ever. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Absolutely fantastic customer service. Highly recommend.

Brought me in for an 8 a.m. Appointment never finished with me until 4: 30 in the afternoon they said that they ordered in the windshield and it was broken when it arrived but they wouldn't show it to me so I think they didn't tell the truth

Excellent place for all your glass needs. They did our bathroom mirrors, and dining table glass for protection of the wood tabletop and now they will be doing the glass replacement in our windows. Their work is excellent and the staff are wonderful!

I came up from Anzac AB (Fort Mcmurray) to Edmonton for an overnight medical appointment and to have my windshield replaced at Crystal Glass South Commons location on April 17/23 The service I received from the beginning, booking the appointment to having the new windshield installed was an excellent experience! Chantal was my service advisor, she gave me exceptional service, she was very pleasant and accommodating and the manager I believe on that day was also so very kind and accommodating to put a rush on having my windshield installed quicker than expected so I was able to return home during daylight hours that same day. I was so grateful! I highly recommend this location if needing a new windshield or any other glass repairs done. Thank you to all the staff working on my vehicle that day!

Terrible service and takes forever to complete the work and when you call to ask for an update they make jokes about how long they’re taking and very unprofessional

The staff in this place are incredible! We accidentally broke our mirror for our wedding bar sign during transport and only had 5 days until our wedding! They were not only able to fix the glass but also put on vinyl that matched what was there previously, all in a matter of 1 day! Definitely going to recommend this place for all your glass needs.

Call right at 8am and Angel got me as soon as I got there!
They fixed up the passenger side window in less than 3 hours! They also fixed some additional damaged without extra charge. Super fantastic! Angel is great!:) I know where to go for my future glass needs.

Customer service is next to none. Angel assisted me with my mirror and glass selection for my home decor projects. All the representatives are amazing!

See other reviews for more info but long story short, another crystal glass was very rude and wouldn't even look at my trailer to see if it was repairable. Just kept saying can't fix trailers. This location however was excellent. Chantal immediately walked out to the trailer to check it out and had no concerns about the repair. 45 minutes later and all repairs were done. Excellent service

Could not be happier with my experience at this location. The girls at the front are very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I will definitely be back if I ever need anything else.

Got a star on my windshield yesterday evening and went in to Crystal this afternoon. They took my vehicle straight away and done in 25 minutes.

Crystal Glass told me to bring a star or start of a crack asap to them and they can usually make it almost disappear and I do not have to replace my windshield. Yeah.

I really want to appreciate the excellent customer care from Chantal St. Anand when I went to the Edmonton shop for tint removal. Her work ethics and interaction will blow up anyone's expectation. She is a very good asset for your organization and you can proud of in having such employees in the organization, Christal Glass Owner.

Brought my vehicle in to change windshield and was greated when first walked in door by Chantal. She was polite professional and made the drop off process easy and quick! I asked her to include wiper changes front and back (I have an SUV) she called me back to let me know I didn't need a rear wiper so I'll add honest also! Other places prob would have just changed it and charged me for it. I'd recommend going to this location for your windshield needs.

Fantasy friendly staff. Replaced windshield quickly at a price lower than some of the competition.

I got turn down by 4 shops already about my windshield problem and decided to check Crystal Glass for my last one. Best decision ever period. Chantal gave me the explanation I was looking for and manage to fix that most places told me is unfixable. I’ll call her as the Windshield Queen! Very knowledgeable and professional. I would like to thank Crystal Glass (South Common Location) and especially Chantal for helping me with my so called “glass project”. Everyone I called couldn’t help me even other location of Crystal Glass. My girlfriend suggested contacting South Common Location. Chantal was simply fantastic: efficient communication, excellent service, timely done and simply great personality. Chantal, I am impressed! The glass is fixed.

I have had a couple windshields done at the south Edmonton Common location recently and I was very happy with my service. I had both vehicles done promptly and without any issues. Customer service was excellent.

What a horrible customer service! I never experienced conversation with such a uneducated and rude person. She is taking crystal glass down. Competitors on yellowhead listened for my needs and helped me the same day.

Really 0 stars. Quoted price was not the price when picked up vehicle. Oh, your vehicle doesnt have rain sensing so that windshield is more money! I didn't think that happened in todays marketplace. Doesnt a business ask client before proceeding with costlier replacement? Not going back to this one. I certainly don't recommend.

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. I can not even get this company to do a quote. I emailed on July 18 requested a quote with all my contact info they said it would be 2 weeks. Aug 10.still no one reached out to book an appointment for a quote. I emailed them again and asked asked them if they were too busy to quote and Shari told me they had staff that had been sick and a few people are ahead of me but I am still in the queue and all they can do at the moment is monitor it and keep me updated. Well it is now September 1st and I have no update or quote. Thanks Crystal Glass for the piss poor customer service

*UPDATE! * Sept 10th - Even though Cystal glass has responded to this review no one has contacted me yet.

I made an appointed at the earliest morning hour possible so my brother could drop me off at work and he could take the car to change the windshield and was told it would be about 4 hours, hours passed, I came off work and it was still no ready, I had to wait a long while still, appoint was 7 or 8 AM and they finally finished my car at 6 PM and they were taking walk in jobs as I was sitting there waiting.
Aside from that experience, I finally got the car and it looked weird, but I thought maybe its cause it brand new and that I would get used to it but I never did, the windshield has some sort of distortion, its annoying during the day but you get used to it, but at night its straight up scary, visibility at night is already limited, and with the distortion its very hard to get a good sense of space in low light, talking with my mechanic friends I was told the distortion is likely because of cheap quality.
Very unfortunate, this is my first car and can barely afford big jobs like that and I only did because it had a big crack right on my field of view and made the invested to at least be able to have good windshield but nope.

P. S.while I was waiting, somebody came in saying the windshield that they got installed there had a leak and water was seeping in.

Actual price was 50% higher than the quote given over the phone. Justification when I inquired to the change was that the glass sized must be different. Given that I had the measuring tape out and couldn’t have been off more than a inch or two off depending on where they measure versus me, it’s a bit hard to believe.

Had my BMW X5 Passenger side window broken into and then repaired here. They did it the next day and very quickly and cleanly. Highly recommended

Extremely professional people but not overly professional. They still had personalities and can joke around. The job was done extremely quickly and efficiently with no hidden costs off the original quote. I dealt with jessica mainly and she was nothing short of awesome. Very very happy with the service here. If I had more hands I'd give this place 5 thumbs up:)

Bad customer service. Make sure your car is same before and after service like you rent a car from a rental company, coz if you had issue, they will never admit.

Overpriced and Incompetent staff
I only went to this shop because I was referred to it and offered a discount. I had 4 things that needed to be done (2 mirrors, a window and a screen). I was told it would be 1-2 weeks. I finally got a voicemail 3 weeks later saying my order was done. I called the next day. I was told the window was done and the mirrors were broken while cutting them and they had no-one to recut them. They also told me they had no record of me needing a screen. I went to the shop and they had the screen dimensions written down on paper but never invoiced me for it so it never got done. Good job guys. 3 weeks, 4 jobs and only one got done.

I went to another glass shop (not a Crystal one) and they are doing all the work for 20% less than Crystals discounted price. They also offered same day service for the screen and mirrors.

I brought a piece of glass in for ONE simple straight cut. I brought it in at 9am. Now it is almost 2pm and it is still not done.
I don’t think this store is customer friendly.
I doubt if the technician is proficient.

I have had good luck with getting rock chips and cracks in my car's windshield patched here. The repairs are quick and hold up well when the cracks are short. When I did have to finally give in and get the windshield replaced because I could hardly see through all the stone chips and bruises, they did an excellent job installing it. The price was reasonable, the windshield was already in stock and I didn't have to wait long to get an appointment. Since I can't avoid driving on the QE2 and getting struck by huge stones, I appreciate the good service at Crystal Glass.

I am not impressed with this shop at all. I had to bring back my vehicle TWICE for a leak issue. After my windshield was replaced for the first time the technician assured me that they used primer to cover up the scratches on the pinch weld before installing the new glass. When they had to do the repair for the second time the windshield had to be pulled out and resealed. I looked at it and there was no evidence that they used primer the first time they pulled out the windshield. Even after they pulled the windshield for the second time they would have missed it if I didn’t remind them. I also noticed few scratches on my roof from their tool when I was taking off the tape a day after. My vehicle is less than 3 years so I feel pretty bad for how they took care of it.

I took my car to Crystal Glass in South Edmonton Common to get a new windshield installed. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the Manager of the store stated that the technician who installed my windshield had damaged an electronic component of my vehicle and he proceeded to show me the damaged component. I told the Manager that was fine and to reimburse me the cost of the component and the required installation cost. At first, the Manager stated he wasn’t going to cover it, somehow blaming it on me. After I repeatedly said I wasn’t going to pay for a new component or its installation, as it was clearly the technician’s fault it occurred and I had my windshield replaced many times before without issue, the Manager then said he would compensate me for half the cost of the component and no installation cost covered. I refused and again pressed for them to correct the mistake they made in full. The Manager then gave me the number for the Regional Manager. I contacted the Regional Manager via telephone and he gave me the run around as well. At first, the Regional Manager said he wouldn’t authorize full compensation for the component, then after I said I would escalate this incident over his head as he was clearly not willing to work with me, he said he would authorize compensation for the component in full (which came 9 months later). However, the Regional Manager would not compensate me for the install of the component, which left me with out of pocket expenses. Absolutely horrible experience from all levels at this Crystal Glass location.

They didn't put a finishing piece back on my door handle after they put it back together. Which I don't mind as long as they replace it, which they did. But I didn't appreciate the attitude about it. The woman said it was only a 5$ piece, implying we were cheap. Yes, that's fine. But how about just putting the car back together the way it initially was. I'm the only owner of my car, they're the only people to take my door apart, I called to ask if they still had the piece, they were automatically defensive and saying I dropped the car off like that. I told them I've never taken my door apart or had anyone else do it, so why would I be missing a piece, especially because i knew it wasn't missing anything before. They didn't know my wife was in line waiting to talk to them, they were talking rudely about the situation not realizing she was there. Yes, it was a cheap part, but I didn't get my window fixed to replace something else that was already there. Makes you wonder if they put everything else back together properly. Whatever happened to customer service? Is it not enough my car was broken into 2 days before Christmas? Then to have someone fix it and give me a herd time about them not fixing it properly?

My sunroof shattered which was a huge stress and the glass had to come from Calgary. They called the minute it came in and got me in within hours. Staff and techs where super friendly and prompt. I was very concerned about this repair and cost but I trusted them completely. I have always dealt with Crystal Glass for all my auto glass repairs. They are reputable and experienced. Thanks!

Submitted a form for an online request for a quote days ago.still waiting for a response when it stated they would reply in one day. If this is what they call customer service then I am going elsewhere.can't wait for someone to get off their ass when I am paying for a service. Go elsewhere.

Slooooooooow service.ended up taking my vehicle elsewhere. Needed a replacement windshield on a Tuesday, was told they would have to order it in from Winnipeg (apparently newer model Kia Forte windshields are suuuuuper rare *rolls eyes) and it should be there in 2 days, 3 days max. Okay, no problem, I can wait a few days. Monday roles around (5 business days now), still nothing. Finally at 6 business days, I took my car to Windshield Surgeons who were able to replace my windshield right away FOR A BETTER PRICE. I called Crystal Glass to cancel my order, and they couldn't even care less.obviously the windshield still hadn't arrived. Seriously, if they had strapped the windshield to a mule and sent it packing across the prairies, it would've arrived from Winnipeg already.
