I was reluctant at first to use a broker to do my mortgage. I felt safer with a big bank. That said, using a broker I still got the big bank back up on my mortgage, but I had someone negotiate the best rate for me and take care of all the details! Less work on my end with a better deal that saved me a LOT of $$$.
