CSA Physiotherapy on 51st Avenue

I go to this CSA Physiotherapy location and see Marissa for physiotherapy. She always addresses my areas of concern and is excellent in all that she does. I mostly get active release therapy and dry needling done when I go and I always feel so much better after! Marissa is gentle in her technique, which I appreciate. She also spends the whole duration of my appointment with me, which most other physio clinics do not do.

The team at CSA is professional, friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable. After injuring my left shoulder two years ago, I finally decided on rehab to address the increasing pain and immobility. Marissa provided me with some beneficial rehab exercises. Emailing them to me with detailed explanations, photos, and videos on proper alignment. She also performed acupuncture and dry needling expertly. Marisa helped to eliminate my shoulder pain and increase my mobility considerably in a reasonable amount of time. I am very grateful and would highly recommend Marissa and her team.

CSA Physiotherapy is amazing, friendly and competent people all around. Specially Geoff Gerber, after a lower back accident I was barely able to walk, sit or even stand for a longer period of time.
His therapy got me back on my feet.

I can't say enough good things about this clinic. Over the years I've seen a few different physiotherapists and all of them having been caring, knowledgeable, and professional.

Cory is next level, to say that he has helped me is an understatement. It doesn't do it justice. When I started my treatment with him, I couldn't put on my own socks or walk without a limp. My goal was to be able to walk down the aisle to get married, without needing support, and we have achieved that and so much more. I have pain free days now and am able to do the things I love like hiking and fishing again.

This past year I also saw Geoff for about 6 months due to a work injury. It was a slow process due to the nature of the injury and he was quick to highlight progress and ensure that I was doing the correct strengthening and returning to work in a way that would allow for a complete recovery.

Overall, this clinic is excellent.

The staff at CSA are friendly and welcoming. I was rear ended late November 2022. The accident caused neck and shoulder pain on my left side that really bothered me. My Physiotherapy Therapist, Geoff, really helped me fixed the problem. I am now totally pain free. Geoff also provided exercise videos that I can follow to do at home to continue building strength. Thank you, Geoff. I highly recommend this clinic.

I received physiotherapy from Dr. Geoff Gerber in August 2022 for pain in my right shoulder. Post the physiotherapy sessions, I kept up the exercises prescribed by Dr. Geoff and was pleased with the results. The pain in my right shoulder disappeared about two months ago and never returned. The treatment worked well. Great!

Geoff is great, helped me with my neck issues will be back if i have to, but I'm all fixed, friendly staff good atmosphere

My daughter is a competitive swimmer who has been dealing with some chronic shoulder pain. Tanya quickly diagnosed her and gave her some fantastic exercises to help heal and strengthen her shoulder muscles! Would highly recommend Tanya as a physiotherapist!

I showed up absolutely buckled. I was in constant pain, numbness in my fingers, sitting in a chair hurt so bad. After being referred to CSA.my physio therapist Marissa Stepnisky has been able to get me out of pain, I have movement back. My quality of life is back to normal. I have been given gold star treatment thanks to Marissa’s help. Staff from the first day have been unreal, friendly & helpful. I recommend CSA to anyone needing help for pain. My PT Rosalyn is awesome. She's patient and very nice in giving instructions. I wanna thank CSA for helping me recover for my injury especially to Rosalyn and the tools she gave me and the exercises for my home therapy and the one in front desk who's patient and so nice to rebook my appointments. I have been seeing Marissa for a few years now, regarding various issues and she is amazing! The dry needling works wonders! Would highly recommend Marissa, or any other therapist!

This clinic is amazing. I had 2 car accidents 5 years ago and CSA 'brought me back from the dead".

This year, I injured my lower back and attended other physiotherapy clinics closer to my home. However, the other clinics were aggravating my symptoms and I felt like I would never get better. I couldn't sit down or lift anything because of the pain: I felt truly defeated. I finally had enough and called CSA and travelled across the city for help. Marissa Stepnisky was assigned to my case. She immediately identified my issues and relieved my pain. She also got me on a plan to strengthen my muscles to help prevent future injuries. I feel much better today and I am so grateful for her help. CSA is the only physiotherapy clinic in Edmonton that I would recommend.
