Lawrence has been doing my hair for 10 years now. I had such a hard time finding a stylist when I moved to Calgary until I tried Lawrence. My hair looks great every time, and it is a beautiful salon to visit. I highly recommended Lawrence and Curious Hair!

I had such a pleasant and an amazing experience with May! I got a haircut & styling done and May was very skilled and professional! She was very familiar and knowledgeable with the asian hair texture and facial frame. She took her time to listen to what style I was looking for and consulted different options. As she was cutting and styling my hair, she explained the process very well and made sure to ask for my opinion. The Curious hair in Aspen is one of the most beautiful hair salons in Calgary! It has modern aesthetics, is clean, and spacious, and just has a great vibe. Highly recommend it to anyone! I will definitely be coming back to see May soon.

Joe is amazing.he always know what is best for my hair and I trust him with his colour choices and the haircut style. Job well done.

My kids have been seeing Joe for years, we followed him to this location from Signal Hill. After a while, I left my hair dresser and had Joe cut my hair, too.
After moving across town to Calgary's deep south, we still make the trek to see Joe for our haircuts. He's fantastic at what he does and listens to what you want, but also advises stylesbased on hair type, he's very personable and overall, just an awesome person. Highly recommend Joe!

Laurel Fisk just gave me the best haircut of my life! It suits the shape of my face, will be easy to care for, and I think it's very stylish and takes off years from my appearance. She has a natural talent for hairstyling, and is also kind and gentle. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I brought my mom in to see Victoria for a haircut and unfortunately, she had a very unpleasant experience. She did not receive the haircut she requested. She felt that not only was the conversation mainly about herself she neglected to give my mom a relaxing experience. All in all, it was just an uncomfortable appointment for my mom. Needless to say, we will not be returning to see Victoria, the salon is beautiful and I might consider coming back to visit another stylist.

I've been going to Victoria for several years and she's fabulous! She cuts and styles my hair beautifully and teaches me what to do at home to keep it looking great. She's positive, supportive and encouraging. I'm a natural redhead, but I'm over 50 and my hair has lost much of its original vibrancy. I wanted to reclaim the colour of my younger days, but I was afraid to dye it for fear it would look unnatural and cover over the highlights I still have in my hair. Finally, on my last visit, I let Victoria dye my hair. It was the first time in my life and I was very nervous. I shouldn't have been. I can't believe how to well turned out. I feel like a redhead again! My hair is a beautiful auburn colour and looks completely natural. I am so happy! I'm hooked! Thanks, Victoria! <3

Went in to see if it would be possible for me to get my hair to a light grey/ashy colour, but since I have dark hair I was partially expecting to be told that it would not be possible to take the colour out (atleast not without turning my hair into straw). I told my stylist John what I wanted and he told me that it would not be possible to bleach my whole head because it would cause too much damage, but that highlights would get me close to the lighter grey ash look I was looking for. I ended up with some of the most brassy uneven highlights you can imagine. While I can understand that it is hard to take the colour out of dark hair, the employees should not offer a service they have no means of providing.

I recently had 2 aesthetic services done on 2 separate occasions. First one was a much needed pedicure, and Anna was impeccably clean and precise. You definitely felt like it was a different experience compared to your standard pedicure.
The 2nd service was a brow tint and shaping. MINI FACIAL INCLUDED! Spare an hour and have this service done. I was so relaxed, and my eyebrows looked like I never imagined they could.
These ladies are really passionate about their craft and make you feel very taken care of. Never that feeling of being rushed to get you out the door. 100% going back.

Great cut by Michael John. On time, and always great service. My hair is fine, and I have never had a bad cut. Free fringe trims are an added bonus. I have recommended MJ to my friends - and they have stayed!

Ive had a great experience here. Their customer service is awesome. IF something happens to not go right, they fix it. I've recommended friends to check it out. Their prices are super reasonable too!

I was so impressed by my first visit here today. Everyone was so nice and accomadating from the front staff to my amazing colorist Zeina! She did an amazing job on my highlights. She listened to what I wanted and I could not be happier. I will definitely be returning!

After waiting 25 minutes for my appointment, I received a 30 minute cut and style. The style fell out shortly after I got home, leaving my hair a scraggly mess for my engagement photos that evening. The only reason this review includes two stars and not zero is because at least the stylist was pleasant and friendly.

Called to make an appointment to get a cut and colour, I asked how much it would be and the receptionist told me $128. When I got to the salon the hair dresser told me I was only booked in for a colour and no cut, and that the cut would be an additional 68 (outrageous) so the price would have been 200 dollars for cut and colour. I got my hair cut cause it needed it desperately but I will be going somewhere else to have the colour done. I also was not told till after the appointment was made that this is not the signal hill angles but another salon in aspen landings because the angles in signal hill closed down and the staff had switched salons.

Awesome experience. If you need a great hair artist go visit Vanessa. She is fantastic! Friendly staff at the front as well. Very modern salon.

Nice service but I asked my balayage and they gave me red hair with pink highlights. I went back to get it fixed and they gave me black hair with small bits of blonde. Terrible.

The service here was exceptional and there attention to detail was amazing. It's also so refreshing to be able to ask the receptionists for help with product. When I came into the salon on Monday evening a man by the name of Anthony helped me find exactly what I needed. I will definitely be coming back.

I do not recommend this salon! Multiple woman I know have experienced getting the wrong orangey colour, streaks in hair and even a random dark blob on the side of her ombre hair! The managers here would not offer a solution to any of this issues that was a result of their work. Very unprofessional.

I had my hair done with Frazer I dyed it blonde and had a haircut. Let me just say could not have been more disappointed I read so many great reviews about this place especially about Frazer but unforunatelly my experience was a DISTASTER! My hair turned out orange and he barely even styled my hair even though I ended up paying for styling also he over processed my hair turning my once beautiful shiny hair into a dull dry and damaged one. I ended up going to another salon to fix my hair and even the stylist at the other salon was commenting how bad the work that was done on my hair. Definetly the last time!
