My doctor used to work out of Summers Medical clinic where I went for 5 years and the front staff n my doctor was Amazing!
Skip ahead to my doctor now working out of 1356 Windermere Way Sphinx medical and all I can say after trying three times to make an appointment is WOW.
First time put on hold and after 28 mins hung up on. Second time called, put on hold. On hold 12 mins then a receptionist picked up and proceeded to insult my pronouncing of my doctors name (keep in mind I have been pronouncing it this way for 5 plus years.
The receptionist had a strong accent and was extremely rude. I did get an appointment within 2 weeks and asked to have an extension on my prescription until my appointment. Receptionist agreed and said have pharmacist fax over request.
Third call, put on hold 5 mins.asked the same receptionist why I had not been given my extension on prescription n she had no answer except that my doctor would be in Friday and hopefully have it done then.
Long story short.awful receptionist, awful hours and if it wasn’t that I loved my doctor T. Siva I would be so inclined to tell the receptionist to find a job where customer service is not required.

Very poor customer service, Could wait for hours on hold just to get someone from reception to talk. Very Disappointed.

One of the worst medical service of the town. Ladies taking calls would put on hold for hours to book an appointment. Even then they will not pick you up. Doctors get easily emotional while discussing any medical issues.poor administration. I would give them zero rating sucking tax payers money

I tried to book an appointment and I call them 3times and no answer. When finally someone pick-up the phone unfortunately after I booked the date she just put me on hold without saying anything and I waited for 24 MINUTES to be entertained again. Miss Indian Lady hopefully you do your job professionally, I know the clinic might busy that day but girl we have work to do as well.

Walked in this morning. They tried charging $136 for a “pre-op”. I told them multiple times that this is covered under Alberta Health and they refused to listen. I walked out and called another clinic that told me it’s free.

Please do not pay for physician history prior to surgery (except dental) this is a covered service and this clinic WILL try to charge you for it.

When you call for an appointment, they put you on hold forever. We are not happy to see the doctor; we are in pain.very bad front desk. I am writing this post and still waiting (30 minutes until now) for someone to answer my phone

I come here to see Dr. Hoosein, she is the best doctor I’ve ever seen - She’s a fantastic, active listener with amazing communication skills.

The office staff are great as well!

I would give it five stars, but the cleaning staff don’t stock enough paper towel which is really inconvenient.

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. We walked in at 2: 04pm on a Sunday (website states open until 3pm for walk ins) with my newborn son that eye is crusted shut. I literally did not even say a word and the receptionist says “no more walk ins. Nope, ” I said “it’s for my newbor…” cuts me completely off “nope we are taking no more walk ins, ” and starts walking away without even letting us say a word. I have NEVER experienced this poor of customer service, let alone in a medical clinic were we are supposed to trust these people with our loved ones!? !? ! Absolute joke.

The staff here are friendly and accommodating. There was a bit of a wait, but I got to see Dr. Siha, and he was very personable. He has excellent bedside manner. I will continue to use Current Medical clinic in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

COMPLETE DISGRACE TO HAVE IN WINDERMERE: I waste my time for a meet and greet then she gets fired then I go back and dude says he already has 2, ooo patients but still does walk ins? And all I need is dr note to go back to work and there is no walk in dr till feb 14. You guys are DISPICABLE AND RUDE!

Genuinely don’t bother with this place. Last summer they said they were “accepting new patients” but I had to wait 3 months to see a doctor. Then I rebook for my prescription refills and follow up on blood work and my appointment was cancelled twice by the clinic. I go to my appointment and was treated as if I had never been there before. I ended up sitting in the doctors room for 25 minutes before I ended up just leaving. So clearly they prioritized the walk ins even though the clinic had just opened. What an absolute JOKE of a clinic. Getting treated like this for an appointment that was booked in early November and having to reschedule for a third time? Come on.

Make an appointment before you came. Otherwise you will have to wait for more than 2 hours to see a doctor.

The most unprofessional receptionists, I have ever met, work at this clinic. You have to pass their face control in order to see a doctor. 1st time I walked in there last June at 9 am with my husband, greating the receptionist who opened the door for us. My husband was out in 15 minutes, I couldn't get into the waiting room until 11 am while we were both walk ins without a doctor there. I couldn't give up at that point as I was already in. 2nd time I walked in there after several months hoping that it was just a bad coincidence. But just to find out that it was not! They do play favoritism based on patients' looks, gender, and race! That's the only reason I could think of to explain why they make some walk ins wait 1-2 hours longer, and others jump in front of you. Needless to say that my husband is white and I am Asian, and we use different last names. I would strongly discourage people from visiting this clinic even if it's in your neighborhood as some receptionist there are RACISTs. At least the Phipino ones I dealt with. Its very unfortunate that we have to experience these things nowadays.

Very bad administration staff, long long long waiting time for even replying for pharmacies faxs. Very rode doctors. I switched my mom's file to another clinic.

I don’t know why doctor or manager in this place let those receptionist talks and treat patients in the rudest way like that.

They NEVER answer the phone! They cancelled my appointment on the day and I can't even reach them. My sick call for my work is just wasted.

Terrible terrible terrible! I waited over an hour in the waiting room.watched people with appts after me get called in. They kept telling me they were waiting for a room. I finally got in to the room and was waiting another 35 mins. They pick and choose who they serve. It’s very obvious. I was passed along to Dr. Charity as my original doctor transferred and I should have searched elsewhere at that point. What a shame. I won’t be coming back. All the years history with a clinic to get pushed aside as the new doctor brought her patients from another clinic with her.

Don't go here if you have hemmorhoids, they'll just say "keep doing what you're doing" even though you've spent 6+ months with no improvement. They're not bad enough for surgery so you just advise doing nothing?

Dr. Shibal is either lazy or uncaring, either way he's lousy.

Front desk that wants you to yell out your information and that do everything but work. Also 1.5hour wait. Go somewhere else.

After a very disappointing and rude experience with the receptionist at Westend Callingwood Medical Clinic, I called Current Medical Clinic to ask for walk in availability and headed over. The receptionists here were super friendly and helpful and I was in and out of the clinic in less than 15 minutes. Will start coming here more often now!

Sunday walk in is not as busy I guess. We got in quickly. The front receptionist/assistant is very accommodating and smiling, the doctor called her while we were waiting, when she got back she apologized quickly. If I get it right, her name is Arlyn. Anyway, not bad at all.

The staff at this medical clinic was very unprofessional. Their lack of consideration for patients clearly showed that they were either unhappy at they workplace or customer service wasn't their priority. My experience started with a 15 minute at the front desk where three medical office staff all working the main desk refused to acknowledge my existence. After 15 minutes When I was finally addressed by a grouchy Medical office assistant, I wasn't greeted rather asked "why I was there". Literally just like that. After my information was collected, I was told that I would have to wait for an hour. Almost 30 minutes in. Upon asking I was told the Dr just came and I'd need to wait another hour this time only increased. In totally we waited for 2 hrs. The issue isn't the wait, rather Just how it was communicated and the cold attitude of the front line staff. For any one in the Southwest.
There are other options of better service with walkin clinics.

Try the Windermere Plaza just above this facility or Parsons road Medical clinic (this clinic is a little further but the staff is welcoming and accommodating).
I only came here as its is closest to my home. I'll just say that is rather drive for 20 minutes to Parsons and get better care there. This is my first negative review I've written for any facility. Theres a reason why this place is getting 2.0 point rating. They deserve even less.

My son and I have been seeing Dr. Hoosien for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier. She takes her time to really hear you and whatever issues are happening and always get in right away!

These people are just trying to make money by forcing people to come in and see the doctor for basic information. We thought our 1 yr old might have got strep throat so we went to the clinic to get him checked. A test was done but the clinic refused to give the results. My wife just wanted to know the results of the test on the phone but they refused. They informed us that we can come to clinic and pick up the report. After confirming with them that my son does not need to come in to clinic again they refuse to give me the test result when I physically showed up as the doctor working at the time wanted to see my son again before giving me the results. Wth. We dont even think my son had strep throat as he started acting fine after we got the swabs done but these people are ridiculous.

One of the worse medical clinics in Edmonton! I get told to bring in my son to see a Dr.so he can get a referral, she will not book an appt with our family dr.but to just come in and see a different dr. (there will be no wait). I find out while I am there that my Dr.is retiring so I try and book some meet and greets with the Dr.taking over and I get told that she can not do more than 3 meet and greets in a day as it is way too many for her and she gets exhausted. WTF? If a Dr.can not handle saying hello to a couple family members then something needs to be done. I see over 50 customers a day in my line of work and I do NOT get a paid a Doctors salary nor do I complain. These Dr's are too damn lazy! We need new doctors who are eager to actually be a GOOD doctor and please get some new staff as most of them are so rude and ignorant!

The doctors are good but I had a terrible experience today. I called 4 times today trying to get a prescription filled. I went to a walk in doctor a few days ago and she put the wrong dosage on the prescription, and I needed the new dosage for my insurance to pay for it. They kept saying they would call me back and then when I tried calling again they were already closed (early). Now I have to pay out of pocket or I will have no medication for tomorrow. Absolutely ridiculous.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. I brought my 20 month old son in to get tested for strep throat since I had tested positive that morning. The doctor did the test but they didn’t have the availability of a rapid test. He told me to call the receptionist for results since “they could forget”. This was on a Thursday and he said I could call Saturday. I call Saturday and she tells me the results will be in on Monday. So I call Monday and the receptionist tells me she can’t twll me anything on the phone except that the report is in. If I would like to see the report I would have to come in. I asked her if the doctor wants to see us or no and she said she couldn’t tell us. So absolutely ridiculous - no other medical clinic deals with reports this way. I asked her if I needed to bring in my son and she said no. So I sent in my husband and after waiting an hour he finds out he needs to bring in my son because the doctor on call was different than the one who saw my son. So basically after 5 days, I still have no idea if my son has strep or no - something that is so urgent and should be treated immediately.
This clinic is just out to increase patient visits so the doctors can get paid more. And to add to that - such rude staff. The receptionist was hanging up on me when I kept asking her more questions! Worst clinic ever.

Well. I booked an appointment with a Female Doctor. Had to wait 2 months + to get in to see her. Then I get a call 2 days ago saying " Sorry, Dr, Hemrick is no longer accepting new patients" THEN WHY BOOK MY APPOINTMENT? I have been searching high and low for a doctor that is female, who understands my needs as a patient and doesn't just rush to get to the next patient and allows me to ask questions about my health. It seems as though most doctors are this way these days and I am struggling to find any doctor that will even see me as a potential patient. I'm just frustrated and wish that I could see a doctor BUT I suppose I will wait a few years until someone in this damn city gets an opening.:/

Awful place with no regard for patient care. Had an appointment with Dr Hendricks for several months, I get a call a few days before my appointment form the clinic stating that the Dr has changed her mind and is no longer accepting new patients. They made me wait for several months than cancelled with an oh well. Extremely unprofessional behavior for the health industry. Very disappointed with their dismissive non caring attitude.

Had a great experience, My son got in very quickly. Heather was so helpful and patient with him. I will go back just for her help.

Have you ever wonder why they have such a low rating? I was there for 3 hours, got in the room after 2 hours. 1 hour i was waiting in the room and I can hear the doc introduce himself at least 3 times in the room next to mine. Don't go there, their docs get their education by making a back home equivalent degree. They hold the same degree as any other doc but still operate like they dealing with people in 3rd world countries. You can take them out of their 3rd would country but you can't take the 3rd world country out of them. Fyi, I am from a 3rd world country. I moved for a reason but here I am facing the same damn issue.

I have a regular doctor, who was away when I needed to see her, so I went here for a walk in appointment. I was in and out within 30 minutes, so that was nice. The staff were professional and courteous, not over friendly, which was fine. I saw Dr. Reggie Wawrinchuk, who was very professional, asked detailed questions and explained what my symptoms were in detail.
The office is a little bit dated, which is the only negative I had on my visit.
This was my first ever walk in appointment and I was pleased with the service I received.

Came here with my son for a walk in. The walk in starts at 5 we were the 1st one here at 4: 45 and a hour and half has past and other people have been called in that arrived after us. If I was able to do half a start or 1/4 star I would as this is ridiculous. They need to be more staffed as 1 dr and 1 receptionist also the acting nurse. Never would I come here again or recommend this place

If I could give a zero I would. Seriously the slowest doctors office I've ever been to. It's been upwards of almost 2 and a half hours. And all I came in for was a prescription because the doctors office upstairs walk in doctor had left for the day and we just missed him.

Visited Current Clinic for my 3 year old Son’s check up.total experience was great with less wait time especially this peak winter.front office was very understanding and guiding not to mention Dhanya knows exactly what’s she’s doing. Thanks to her!

Thanks to the Doc was very kind and prescribed the right medications and also advised follow ups!
