The currents of windermere has a lot to offer. From grocery shopping to movie theaters. The one negative is that the traffic can get bad getting in and out of the area.
I like this area.most of the stores here are newer than the rest of the city, cleaner, better stocked and less busy! I live outside the city and this is one of the closest areas for me to come into and access a variety of common stores, restaurants, theatres, etc. It seems like a bit of a secret since they are very rarely busy and have stock of items that other locations do not have. I've never had an issue with parking either, so a good place to visit if you haven't been to this part of the city before!
We went to the Marks warehouse. We have a purchase order through work. The first representative read the purchase order several times, as if it was going to change. Then she requested another person to come read it, I felt like I was watching two monkeys trying to figure out a Rubik’s cube. They stood there scratching their heads for about 15-20 minutes wondering about a Purchase Order. We finally said “ we gotta go” and took the purchase order to another Marks warehouse that finished the transaction in 10 minutes. If you were to walk in my Mocs, I’d give this place zero feathers out of ten.
Such a lovely community in Edmonton! Windermere has really grown a lot over the past 20 years and now it's hustling and bustling with all kinds of shopping, resturants and entertainment. Would highly recommend as well because it tends to not be as busy as the large malls and south Edmonton common
It's a shopping center. It's got what you need and will frustrate you with parking and parking lot driving just the same as anywhere else. Deep breaths. Watch your door clearance and just hope for the best.
