Absolutely highly recommend this place! Never been to such a heart warming veterinary clinic that really take care of their patients concerns and needs. I have complete trust in Currents Veterinary Centre as I know my pup is in good hands with Dr. Chappell, Dr. Nguyen, and her amazing team. Front desk and the technicians are always superior at answering any questions and responds quick. They exceed my expectations on quality patient care. Always transparent and honest with their quotes. Extremely happy to find such a wonderful clinic, I highly recommend it.

Dr. Chappell is by far one of the nicest, patient, compassionate vets I have ever met. Our dog has a bit of stranger danger, and is anxious and shy but she warmed up to Dr. Chappell right away. Dr. Chappell made sure all our questions were answered and she didn’t make us feel rushed at all. You can tell she really cares about the animals and is very patient with the ones that are nervous. We’ve been to other vets in the city and this was by far our best experience. Highly recommend Dr. Chappell for her caring and patient demeanour and her knowledge. Thank you.

After a bad experience elsewhere, I made an appointment and brought my dog to them. The front desk staff was respectful and informative. Techs and Vet were knowledgeable and reassuring. A great team overall. I learned a lot in the process.

Fabulous, knowledgeable. Treated my daughters cat in January when in pain lost appetite we were very concerned would have to put him down. Reassuring staff and vets provided minimally invasive tests to help find an answer. Cat feeling and doing much better bill reasonable.

A very professional and caring place to bring your pets. I brought my cat here for her annual exams and any required checkups. The staff remembered me and my cat and made me feel so welcome.
In November 2022, my cat was diagnosed with cancer and they treated her with the most care. Dr. Lee kept me educated about her condition and treatment and provided me with all her options. When it was her time to pass, all the staff were so kind and gentle with both me and her. I was able to take the time I needed to be with her and never felt rushed or pressured into anything. We were in good hands with Dr. Chappell.
Once I have another cat, I will surely bring them here.

We were looking for a new vet since we moved from the north side. Our daughter told us about this place so we decided to check it out. Doctor Lee was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Didn’t rush us. Took his time with us and explained everything. Didn’t try to upsell us with unnecessary test. Clean building and friendly front staff as well. I think we found our new vet.

I want to start with saying I have not been offered anything in exchange for my rating or review.
I genuinely want to thank the team here, who I saw with my puppy for a couple health concerns. Dr. Lee was so skilled in his exam, and gave me all the possibilities that might be causing the symptoms, as well as his best guess based on experience. Dr. Lee was so compassionate and helped me feel prepared for whatever the outcome, which I’d have to wait several months for a specialist consult and diagnostics to confirm. It turned out to be exactly what he thought, a condition that should have no impact on her life, which reaffirms Dr. Lee’s expertise!
The staff here also went above and beyond in helping me get some additional documentation to my insurance company, at record speeds! Having seen several different vets with my other pets, I can confidently say I’ll be coming here for all my future vet needs!

Absolutely incredible staff and service! My gerbil needed a tumor removed, and after surgery he decided that his sutures were optional (they were not). The staff were amazing about making sure he didn't take them out! Amazing care before, during, and after the procedures. I really appreciated the check-in calls. Will definitely be returning here in the future! Both Cactus and I thank you:)

Fit us in and dealt with an emergency situation for our Guinea Pig when the emergency vet centers didn't have an exotic vet available and our regular exotic vet was already dealing with 2 emergency appointments.

It's the most caring and loving place you could ever take your pet to. Your treated like family and so is your pet. They truly care not only for your pets but your needs as well. Dr. Lee is amazing! For years I've taken my bull dog Diesel to other vets and in 1 visit he cleared up his skin issue. My boy is happy and goes for walks again and I'm happy that Diesels happy. Thanks again Dr. Lee

Where I should start. I highly recommend Dr. Lee. My kitten has a vomiting and diarrhea situation in 1 week, 3 times, horribly throwing up everything in his system. My regular vet hospital didn’t treat the situation seriously at all. A friend recommended Currents Vet. Dr. Lee took us in for an emergency appointment, he was very patient and listened the whole story, due to no medical history got transferred yet. He discussed strategies and explained test results and future plan very well. Set my kitten on prescription wet food, and followed up with anti diarrhea medicine for home care. Very thorough treatment and truly care about my kitten, I know that because Dr. Lee compared my kitten with his two-years-old at home. He loves and cares about my little kitten. Go to Currents, I highly recommend it. Dr. Lee deserves all the stars on the review.
Update, right after a small incident of my kitten chowed up and ate partial of package of the treat, I called in for a emergency appointment. Dr. Lee called me back very quickly and provided excellent solution, answered all of my questions and explained the reason behind the solution. I have to say, I love this Vet, he goes above and beyond to help you with your little animal. He is truly amazing!

Asked to see Dr.lee he was great with my pup sat on the floor with her where she was more comfortable. Even the front desk was very kind

I can’t express enough how amazing this clinic is, more specifically Dr. Chappell. Dr Chappell has really blown us away and gone way above and beyond what is expected of her to make sure our fur baby has the best care possible. She always makes herself available for any questions or concerns and always takes the time to explain and provide as many options as possible without any judgements. You can really feel the love that Dr Chappell has for her patients and we are so appreciative for all that she does and continues to do. The clinic staff are also always kind and courteous and we highly recommend this clinic to all our family and friends. I will forever be grateful for the love and compassion that Dr Chappell has shown to our fur babies over the years.

Currents has always taken great care of our cats. The vets and techs are all excellent, compassionate, and caring.

We came here after a poor experience with another clinic, and couldn't be happier. They're worth the drive halfway across town!

I had a suddenly, extremely sick hamster in need of veterinary care. I called about a dozen vets in one day to try and get help, and Currents Veterinary were the only ones willing to help and find a way to fit us into their schedule. They had no appointments available, but still allowed me to bring my hamster in to be seen the same day. Everyone I spoke to and dealt with was so incredible, compassionate, kind, and eager to help. This was my first experience with Currents Veterinary and I would absolutely recommend them, and will return for all my future veterinary care needs.

Friendly staff, super attentive and really care about the animals. I'll be going there again. I went to get my dog vaccinated and they did everything to make sure she was comfortable

My dog loves this place. As soon we get near the building he starts freaking out and when we get to the door he jumps up on the glass. That's a good sign if you ask me. Price for checkups are alittle higher than around the area though. No complaints though.

I've had an amazing experience with DR. Chappell, she saved me a $2800 surgery from my previous vet. My cat had a bladder stone and my old vet told me she would need surgery right away and didn't work with my cat to try an alternative more humane way to fix the bladder stone. My cat is 8 years old and this would have been quite stressful for her. I called Dr. Chappell and she recommended a urinary diet to see if the stone would clear on its own. A couple weeks later I boked an appointment and Dr. Chappell did a very thorough exam with my girl. She was the calmest she has ever been with a veterinarian and she made it very easy, she did an X-ray and sure enough the Stone vanished with the urinary diet that was recommended. I'm so thankful for all your help and saving my cat a surgery she didn't need.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Dr Lee and Dr Nguyen are such wonderful people and treated my cat Blue really well. They answered my millions of questions. All around, a wonderful clinic with kind hearted staff who obviously love what they do.

My dogs are my world and Dr. Nguyen is always compassionate and understanding. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Best vets in the city. Not only do they deal with both my dogs but my green tree python and 2 different types of geckos.

Amazing place.has seats that recline and make the experience amazing.even during covid they were kind to people who could wear a mask. Thank u for showing us how a movie theater should be.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences so far with this clinic. All of the staff are so sweet and caring, you can tell everyone who is there genuinely loves their job. Dr. Nguyen has been so awesome for my little chihuahua! She is very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Nguyen completely transformed my dogs teeth, I'm so grateful. Thank you to all of you for helping Chico, he is already so much happier and it has only been a couple of days since his surgery!

After many years my vet retired and I had to find a new one for my parrots which is very difficult. My small parrot fell and I suspected she had broken her foot. The vet was very helpful and professional. The staff have been kind and supportive. My little bird is recovering. Cost was reasonable for the care provided. I am relieved to have a new vet I can trust with my hard to treat pets. Thank you.

In the last month I've had to put my one dog down and today my other dog needed T. P. L. O surgery and the vet techs & vets have been nothing but caring. I feel like they truly care about animals and will continue to bring them here. Thank you for taking care of my dogs

Very friendly and professional staff. Wonderful measures were put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, while client communication was still held to a high standard. Dr. Chappell called me with a thorough overview of her findings for my guinea pigs. We had a great discussion and I could tell she was not trying to rush. I felt educated and encouraged in caring for Star and Meatball thanks for taking such good care of them!

Currents' vet's were there for us when our kitten was struck with seizures. Their friendly and knowledgable staff were quick with diagnoses and we were surprised at the volume of literature they combed through to find it. Our little baby, Hunny, was terminal. Brenna, a vet tech assisting the ever so wonderful Dr. Chappel, was with us, guiding us through the end of life decisions so compassionately, patiently, and tenderly. We were given all the time we needed and we were left in absolute peace and silence to say our "I luv yous". Dr. Chappel remains the ONLY veterinarian I trust my furry children with. Matter of fact, our newest addition to the family got spayed by Dr. Chappel 11 days ago and because of Dr. Chappel's skill and mastery we did not experience any issues or complications; Mona didnt even experience any discomfort. Now, I know I'm setting the bar high but that is what you get at Currents Veterinary and that's why I give them the full 5 stars.take care

I have been taking my French Bulldog here for over a year now and have nothing but great things to say about this vet clinic. They are have great customer service all the way from the front staff to the RVT’s to the Veterinarians. They do not make you feel like anything less than a family member at this clinic. We recently met Dr. Chappell and she is amazing.hands down our favourite vet we have met at this clinic. We had a bit of a emergency with our pup one day and she managed to fit her in, in the same day within just hours with no appointment made prior. She took the time to address all of our questions and thoroughly went through any and all concerns we had. She even followed up with a phone call to us a few day’s after we had our appointment to check in on our pup. Amazing customer service and just all around a really great clinic. We will forever be taking our Caicos to this place, it is wonderful!

We were new to Edmonton and we were looking for a new Veterinary Clinic where we could find food for our dog who is on a special diet. We came and across Currents Veterinary Center because we live in the area, and upon our first visit they were very helpful in what we needed for our dog and his needs. They have great customer service and we always look forward to stopping by.
