After 31 years of nursing, my feet have taken a beating. Thank goodness for Tim and the team here. A booked appointment, a custom experience with shoe fitting, lots of learning about what I need and how I can be accommodated, and two pairs of shoes later. I am dancing! For the first time in a very long time, my feet are not hurting. Having a team with such knowledge assist you through choosing the right product is such a gift! Thank you so much, my next shift should be a breeze (like walking on a cloud).:)

I love this place. I've been twice and I will be again. I have wide feet and I struggled to find shoes that properly fit me. Not a problem here. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help. They have a good selections of great quality footwear.

Amazing experience! Amazing customer service! I had been to a podiatrist and I was told I have plantar fasciitis, they scanned my feet and told me I could order custom insoles my whole appointment was maybe five minutes. I decided to shop around for custom orthotics and came across custom orthotics and the walk shop and I’m so glad I did! They took the time to educate me on plantar fasciitis, shoes & slippers, what to look for when shopping for shoes and so much more. 10/10 recommend this company!

I am a 63 year old with a lot of medical problems, one is my feet. I cannot express the care and concern I have received from Tim. Tim is extremely knowledgeable, Educated and has several years of experience with shoes and feet. The girls in reception are truly lovely always helpful and smiling.
If i need shoes there is no one in edmonton that can help me but custom Orthpedic always has a shoes for me.

I keep going back for new orthotics as they're very knowledgeable and professional, and product is always as promised. Plus they have a great selection of shoes and sandals!

Bad customer service all round!
They didn't give us the correct paperwork for our insurance now we have to cover the cost of orthothics $400.
According to their reception team, our 2 pairs of genuine Italian leather shoes along side 1 pair of custom orthotics have been thrown away because we didn't pick those up in time.
Never once they called or emailed us when our order was ready, yes we were late for pick up but they could have called us before throwing our stuff away! Beware of the bad service.there is no permission to be human here. They won't accept not doing their part as a business!

I am sure your readers can judge for themselves how respectful you are towards your clients. Instead of anyone calling to inform us that you have our shoes were not thrown out and they have been miraculously found, you are posting it online 3 months after my review. Stress of the Pandemic, getting stuck abroad and repeated pandemic closure, the shoes certainly were not on our priority list of pick up! I was surely upset but never did I disrespect, threaten or was abusive to your staff - PLZ STOP LYING!
Such a SHAME Instead of calling to make things right you are accusing me online! WON'T RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!

Staff were very friendly, knowledgable and personable. They have a great selection of shoes and boots (even for thirty-somethings) and my feet have never felt better! Thanks guys!

Been going to these folks for years. They really know their stuff (especially Tim!) and are patient, understanding, and do their utmost to ensure that whatever you buy works for you.

I would recommend the Walk Shoppe for anyone who has footwear problems, either Orthopedic or just need wider then normal shoes. I have purchased shoes there and the service is second to none. If they don't have what you need they will gladly help you find a competitor who has what you need.friendly knowledgeable staff, 5 stars from me.

I have had several pairs of orthotics made here and have been extremely pleased with the results. I've also had Tim select joggers that have the best features for my foot problems and they have been very comfortable right from day one.

Staff was attentive, kind, caring and knowledgeable and patient with elderly clients. Excellent experience.

Some place to go where they really know what they are talking about, and do what they say they will. They have made my custom orthotics, and sold me shoes, where other places claim they can but don'e walk the talk! VERY happy with all they have done for me.:)

My wife was searching for an orthopedic business after moving to Edmonton and we came across Custom Orthopedic. We read many reviews and gauging from the positive feedback, deemed them worthy to give them a try. At the first consult Tim was straight forward and explained the human foot and body mechanics which further helped our understanding of my wife's existing mechanical issue. His vast knowledge and experience in orthopedics was clearly apparent and we were completely at ease with him. Tim's craftsmanship is excellent and he was able to recondition my wife's 4 pairs of Birkenstock's incorporating the required lift correction along with a rocker sole. I read some reviews saying that this business is not upfront and is misleading. I can say this is complete fabrication and they will not perform any work or imprint castings without a prescription. As for the cost, this is not an off the shelf insole but custom work of your individual mold so it will be more expensive. Having said that, the staff was knowledgeable with Alberta Health coverage and works with their customers to ensure the proper entitlement is claimed. Custom Orthopedic submits the paperwork on your behalf which streamlines the process.

Bottom line I recommend this business and my wife will be a repeat customer and should I require orthotics in the future, will be contacting Tim.

I went here for the first time. I needed good walking shoes for my foot pain. The Pedorthist spent a lot of time with me explaining what type of shoes I needed, what I could do to help the pain, and additional relevant information that was extremely helpful. He was friendly with a great sense of humour. I would strongly recommend this store if you suffer with foot pain.

I learned a lot about shoes, proper shoes & fittings, materials for the type of shoe one is wearing. I liked that I could get 1/2 sizes. Great service!

The staff was extremely helpful in finding shoes that fit well and were comfortable. I often have a difficult time finding shoes that fit; Custom Orthopedic & The Walk Shoppe had a great selection and knowledgeable staff to find the right shoes for me. This will be my first stop the next time I need shoes.

I've had to have custom inserts and sturdy shoes most of my life & aquiring both used to be an arduous task. The team at Custom Orthopedic & The Walk Shoppe make both processes easier and comfortable. They're willing to listen as well as inform and educate. I ended up bringing my parents and brother here. I really can't praise Custom Orthopedic and the Walk Shoppe enough.

First time in here and every shoe I like there were no size for me, staff seem not able to help, did not want to get up from the chair I think. It was highly recommended to me but very dissatisfied.

I had an Amazing experience at the Walk Shoppe! Just got my second pair of custom orthotics from here couple of days ago!
The staff is very courteous and helpful.
My first consultation was with Tim. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I got fitted with custom orthotics and a pair of Asics for sports about 6 months ago. It was one of the best decisions i have made towards prevention of sports injuries.
I haven't had any back issues or knee pains after my first pair. So i went ahead and got another pair for everyday shoes and work shoes.

I have been very satisfied with all the staff at Custom Orthopedic and the Walk Shoppe in Edmonton, their knowledge of products and friendly way of dealing with customers is well noticed. I have been a customer there for 3 years and I have found Tim to be extremely knowledgeable about all of their products. His ability to work with customers in fitting and designing the best orthotic for their feet is always done with the customer in mind. Tim is very professional and his willingness to make necessary changes is always done in a friendly and courteous way. I have purchased all of my shoes, sandals, winter boots and running shoes at The Walk Shoppe since I first found the store. Every time I have been in the store Tim and the staff have always found time to answer any questions or concerns I may have. I have given referrals to family members and friends, they have gone to see him and are also very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I do not hesitate to give referrals. I am truly very happy that I have found a shoe store that takes time for their customers.

I have been getting custom orthotics from these folks for many years (3 or 4 pair over the last decade) and couldn't be more pleased. Their orthotics are not the cheap foam varieties sold by some disreputable dealers but are solidly built, long-lasting inserts that have been life-changing in their positive results for my foot problems and lower-back pain. Tim and his staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and they are also experts at filling out the ridiculously convoluted paperwork that Blue Cross now demands before they will cover this legitimate health expense! The store also sell a variety of top-quality walking shoes for men and women - well worth a look!
