This company is awesome. Dave is a phenomenal home inspector. He is extremely thorough. He notes the minor to the major defects / issues. The in-depth final report has pictures and descriptions. The report is also color coded and has a summary page listing the minor, marginal and significant issues in same color code. Easy print off reference page (s). Dave is super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. During the inspections he even provides how to repair tips and product suggestions for the repairs. I highly recommend Dave and this company.

David was an absolute pleasure to work with! We were referred to him as a Home Inspector and when I reached out to contact David he immediately gave me his dates of availability and how the overall process worked for a home inspection as this was our first time going through this process.
In the end David has completed 2 home inspections for us and both times he was incredibly thorough, and his inspections were incredibly detailed. He allowed us an opportunity for follow up if we had questions or wanted to confirm something documented in his report and through the entire process was incredibly friendly!
We absolutely would recommend David if you're looking for an excellent home inspection as we were moving and with two small children it was important to us that whoever walked us through this process understood how important it was for us!

I hired David for my, during construction and pre-possession inspections and he was always on time, responsible and thoroughly inspected every little part of the property. I saved about $5000 during the construction because he spotted all the defects and deficiencies which builders fixed during the construction rather costing me later. He made second visit before possession and didn't charge me anything for his time even he spent 7 hours on site during the pre-possession. I would strongly recommend to hire him and he is always spot on.

We recently purchased a house in Edmonton originally built in 1948. Given that neither of us had owned a house of that age before, we had many (many!) questions and David patiently walked us through the answers for all of them:)

During the inspection itself, there was the perfect balance of explaining certain aspects as he went along with the details of the few things we needed to take into consideration at the end.

Also, David was kind enough to slot us in on a Saturday (usually one of his days off) due to some timing issues with the restrictions removal on the offer.

All in all, we've never had such an amazing experience with a home inspector in the 25+ years of buying homes in different provinces / countries. We would recommend David again in a heartbeat.

David took me through for a thorough inspection of my prospective purchase. He found a number of deficiencies, and graded them in terms of priority. Based on that, I added a few conditions to the offer. Seller did the work, I bought the house, and now I’m sitting gleefully among a pile of boxes.

David was thorough and professional, and has answered a million or so questions for me. And… he kindly went next door with his ladder to help my would-be neighbour with a blocked vent. Turns out it was a rubber ball in there! He probably saved my neighbour a couple hundred bucks. That’s just the kind of guy David is!

The report he provided was easy to understand for an average person with limited building knowledge, and made the choice to decide on the home a much easer decision. He has very experienced judgements on all levels of home construction and operations.
