I’m the best quality repair on my cell phone screen looks great but the functionality and sensitivity of the screen and the colour of the pictures and the display is not that great

Just bought a refurbished IPhone 11 and realized the camera it’s not an original from an IPhone 11, worst quality than my old IPhone 7, they ripped me off.

I gave her a $20 tip. WHY? Super nice lady. I purchased an IPad. I did not realized Version Ipad 5 does not support the Apple Pencil. No question, she gave me back my cash. But she needed to cancel the passwords and return it to factory. She said It will take 5 minutes.you can get a coffee at McDonalds. When I got back, she had the cash. I left $20.00 WHY? When someone goes out of their way to help, because of my mistake, HEY! Their time is worth something too. She was very surprised. I'm sure it made her day, but you know what, it made my day that there is still people like this in world. Thank You helping me out! Richard

Wanted a new battery for my old Android. They seemed confused and then claimed they had no parts to fix it. I bought a battery kit on Amazon for $40 and installed it myself. Boo!

Arriving with my iPhone's alarm beeping and an unresponsive screen, the tech assessed the solution in seconds (replace the screen) and said to come back in an hour. With several decent places to grab a coffee or a bowl of soup steps away (or get your nails done), I returned in the hour to collect my phone, once more running smoothly. Considering my older model iPhone and timely fix with a screen cover thrown in for good measure, the $70 charge was reasonable. CydiaFix: my go-to place for repair!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not great work, and even worse customer service. I brought my surface here to get looked at. I went to use my headphones for the first time and when I put my thumb on the corner of the surface to hold it while I plugged in the headphones, I felt the screen move under my thumb and then crack in the corner.

They have a 90-day warranty and so I called, and when I explained how my screen cracked (never dropped, I baby this, they're expensive), and that it wasn't fully installed, they wouldn't help me, wouldn't let me bring it to show them. They said that they don't cover physical damage, their technicians are too skilled to make mistakes, so there's no way it's their fault. Makes you wonder why they offer any warranty if their technician are above making any mistakes.

I've been using my surface and the exact headphones together for years. This was the first time I used them since the screen was removed for the repair, and it broke.

I paid over $360 for the repair. They charge you for the price of a brand new screen incase they break it during the repair, and don't give you a discount if the screen doesn't break, but they won't automatically replace the screen during repair. They also said they don't warranty anything they didn't repair, which is convenient when you have to remove the screen to do the repair.

The main reason I brought my device is fixed, but now my corner is cracked and most importantly the sound through the headphone port is garbage. I tried the headphones on another device and they work.

Their policy is garbage, they'll just find a way to say it's not their fault. Go somewhere else.

The idea that the corner cracked the first time I used the same headphones, in the same way I had for years, days after you admittedly removed the screen is laughable. It was the original screen and had never been repaired/touched.

Built into the cost of my repair was a new screen (if necessary). You don't give people money back if the original screen doesn't break. You get to pocket the money. Of course you'd try to keep the original screen, and deny any wrong doing. It's basically free money. I was desperate to have my surface and the files on it repaired that I blew past the reg flags. That's my fault.

I just want people to know what happened to me and think wisely before they give money to a company who treats an issue with a customer like you did with me, who acts as if there's no way they could make a mistake. People need to ask themselves if they want to give their money to a company like that. Learn from others experiences.

As of now my screen is so glitchy that am back to square one finding another company to replace my screen. The phone is worse off than when I brought it in, and I am out $300 because of this company. Sadly my experience wasn’t a good one. Will not recommend or take my phone there again. I will take my phone to Apple should’ve done that in the first place. If you don't want the apple store, theres plenty of phone repair centers in the city.

The worst customer service I've ever seen. If you actually want to get something repaired, take pictures of your phone before the repair, whether its the front screen, back screen or camera. They fix my screen and then when I see that theres a pixel damage, they say they can't fix it. Stay away from this place, at least find a place that can accommodate better customer service.

They did a motherboard repair on my iPhone that another reputable company had screwed up. I can’t thank them enough for getting my phone back up and running because other shops had given up on it and just said to get a new one. This was about 2 years ago. This will definitely be my first stop if I have any future repairs.

They were very helpful, a repair on my iPhone was much cheaper than getting a new one and it works great again. They had it ready in just 30 minutes!

I put these people to the test and they passed with flying colours, went above and beyond.

The screen of my Apple Watch 5 shattered. Took to Daniel to fix, reasonable price as he told me he only uses genuine parts. Initial assessment is to just replace the shattered glass; but complication happened that some bubbles are always under the new glass. So Daniel suggested to replace the entire screen set, which is $75 more. But because I have to wait 3 weeks for the new parts to arrive, he decided to waive the $75. Got my watch back yesterday, looks almost brand new again! Good workmanship, definitely will come back again!

Ruined my device over cracked back glass!

I dropped of my phone to replace a cracked rear glass on iPhone XR (was dropped about a year ago). When I picked up phone, face id no longer working. It was working when I dropped it off, and not working when I picked it up. These crooks refused to acknowledge that they could possibly be at fault, but all I know is that I face-unlocked the phone just prior to handing it over, and it would not work when I picked it up.

Totally ruined ability to use phone as biometrics are so integrated in operation of device for passwords and such. Had to buy new phone, and am out the cost of the repair to boot!

Edit based on owner response: I tried with heat gun and thermal reader under 100 degrees C. Days later with (face id working for days after attempt), I brought my phone to CydiaFix. That is when it stopped working.

I have been going to see Daniel ever since he was doing then in his living room out of Board Walk apartments. I have brought several phones and iPads myself over the years for screen repairs ONLY. I have also referred people here for screen repairs ONLY.

A few times I got them back and the home button wasn’t working properly, I let them know and of course they said they didn’t do anything wrong, even though the home button worked perfect and had ZERO issues prior to getting the screen fixed. This has also happened to a friend of mine and I only just found out when this happened to me AGAIN in the last two weeks
(which They will now be leaving a review as well)

I have contacted Daniel, I told him that whatever happened when they changed the screen it damaged the home button. He of course argued, defended said it was my fault. So, me being me, I paid for him to fix the home button. He said, the finger print won’t work BUT we can fix it so it functions as it should and I agreed and paid him 60$- something to fix it.

Two days later the home button still sticks, won’t register, same as before. So I contacted him. I told him I wanted the whole screen replaced to insure that it works. He said, and I quote, “I changed the screen when I changed your home button and did NOT charge you or tell you, so it’s not the screen”
The day after I got the first screen replaced I scratched it, I still have the same scratch on my screen. So, if he “changed the screen” when changing the home button how could I end up with the exact same scratch in the same spot.it’s not possible.

I told him I wanted my money back for the home button “fix” and I will go elsewhere.
He called me a liar and told me that he’d rather deal with normal customers.like who even says that. Lol
I have a paper trail of all our conversations and he has been so ignorant to deal with and takes zero accountability.

I have contacted my bank and they are actually going into the transaction and reversing it so whatever I paid him for my last two visits of him only damaging my phone further, I am getting every cent back. So if you are reading this and this has happened to you, call your bank.
I have a huge paper trail so that did benefit me.

Anyways. Stay away. He’s honestly NOT that much cheaper than Apple especially for iPhone11 and up, he’s actually more.

Always great service. I have been visiting this store for almost 6 years. They have repaired at least 3 ipads and 4 phones for me. Always friendly, always patient, and always fair when it comes to price. Today I had a problem with my imessage and they fixed it in five minutes and didn't even charge me anything.

They're quick but seriously.their prices are almost double what you can find at other places, paid $500 to fix my S10+ screen, 2 days later went to a phone repair shop in Bonnie doon and basically found out it could have only cost $280. Again, great service, but prices seem questionable

Edit to reply to owner comment: Perhaps that is true, but unfortunately for you I did do my research and found almost everyone quoted me a better price for Samsung products (I asked specifically). I bumped you up a star based on the fact you even replied, which was an honorable thing to do. But I still feel your prices might be too steep compared to other places, maybe its something to consider. And I wouldn't say my screen install was perfect, there was a ton of residue all around the edges of the screen that I had to clean off myself, it didn't look that great in my opinion, so again.something to consider.

Great service, the owner is pretty nice, he helped me replacing my iPhone’s screen for a reasonable price.

Brought my phone in with a broken power button, they fixed it in under 24 hours and it works as good as new.

They are wonderful. Explained everything clearly and fixed everything in short order. Had the dreaded cracked glass on the back of my XS Max, along with a broken camera and lens. They fixed and replaced everything almost like exact brand new in half a day.

First impression was a 1 STAR, there was a miscommunication between me and the front desk person to what service need on my Ipad Pro, with in a few hours the OWNER contact me personal thru calls and text to rectify the situation, also free of charges. I was very impress, there are not many these that store like CydiaFix (willing to take a lost in services to satisfy customer needs) exist anymore, all the work were corrected in the very next day. Awesome service. Charging port wasnt working properly, but found a solution to clean instead of replacing it to save me money. Phone was ready in 10 minutes. Very professional.

Daniel repaired my screen on my Galaxy S10, he was very good on price, and it was done in a timely manner. He was able to adapt to my needs as well. I would recommend cydia fix to anyone!

Really great service! They fixed my Microsoft surface screen in one day and after a month of use, it still functions great! Their prices were the best compared to other repair companies in the city and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The older person was nice and easy to deal with, 5 stars. Second time i found this younger guy were arrogant and aggressive attitude, maybe from the bodybuilding supplement and steroids that looks like he is taking? 2 stars experience.first repair was good, 2nd didnt last long. Best to take insurance i guess.

Moderately expensive but professional and extremely competent. I've come here multiple times and each time they not only did the repair but did a quality job IMHO.

Simply put, they fixed what other shops could not. The place is not well organized however their skill compensated. Pricing was fair and I was happy with their services. I was told my iPad was unfixable by other repair shops before I brought it here.

My husband got a service it was good, but they didn't keep touch as they promised to know if the phone was ready on the day they said

My Detachable HP Laptop 2 had a cracked screen. I had taken it to various screen repair shops computer businesses to no avail. "sorry sir there is nothing you can do for this followed by a big explanation as to why they could not fix it" meanwhile as I was looking to repair my ipad at the same time I discovered CydiaFix Inc.this was on XMAS EVE DAY 2PM I wasn't expecting them to be able to do anything until the New Year. My ipad was repaired by 4pm that day.and my impossible Repairable HP Lap Top, they said let me see if i can do something, not until after new year though. Exceptional service that was very quick and perfectly completed. Very responsive to my text messages. And 100 dollars cheaper than the Apple store. Hopefully I will not need anymore repairs but if I do need them I will be coming back here. I highly recommend Cydiafix

NO ONE in EDMONTON could help me with my wife's Kobo Arc 7 e-reader/tablet charging port problem. Kobo was no help. Some tech's said buy a new one. I spent half a day going to shop after shop with no success, and luckily was finally pointed to CydiaFix. The tech there really knows tablets and fixed it the same day. Highly recommended!

Called around to get best price on a screen fix and the quoted price was $10 more when we came in. We said the phone screen we needed. No additional service was required and they offered no apology for the misquoted price. Also took 30 minutes to replace the screen and ended up having to leave the phone there as any other time we’ve had a screen replaced they did it right way so did not plan to be there for that long. Unimpressed. Will not be returning.

Just replaced the battery of my favorite iPhone 5s. The price is very good, and I got my phone in the same day. Staffs are very nice and professional.
