Was a bit disappointed in my experience tonight. Ordered 2 chicken meals, cheeseburgers, fries and gravy on the side. Received everything except for the plum sauce, which was surely needed as the chicken tenders were over cooked. Which was weird because I had to wait almost 15 minutes for my order since they were waiting on chicken. The regular fries, which is a pretty small box to start with for the cost, was literally half full, resulting in the equivalent of maybe a kid size fry, all baby fries lol. The cheeseburgers were the saving grace. Nothing’s a big deal, I can always cook at home if I don’t like it, was just disappointing. Will update my review if better next time.:)

I would like to thank Mercedes for her excellent customer service! You made one little 11 years old girl a nice birthday treat! Little disappointed on the senior staff who would not put in any effort into helping out with the free blizzard promised by Dairy Queens franchise.

This is the best DQ in the south they always add extra toppings and the blizzard was the best I have had. The staff were friendly and quick and the food was great! Can’t wait to come back again thanks for the great service!

Gone down hill. Been going to this location for 18 years and it is a shell of what it used to be. Quality, quantity and care for product and customer has plummeted. Actually, if I was owning it I would be embarrassed.

Even a coupon has no value.the product is even worse using one if that is even possible for ice cream.

One of the worst DQ locations in the city. Ordered a chicken strip basket and was going to be charged if I wanted flamethrower sauce as a dip (all baskets are advertised including a dip of your choice). I've never seen any other DQ charge extra and clearly just a cash grab. I ordered a flamethrower burger as well but it was very disappointing lacking in any flavour and on par with a cheap frozen burger from a grocery store. Safe to say we won't be back to this particular location.

Today after lunch, I want to get a treats, Then I go to Shawville DQ, I don't recommend this store because I paid $10 for an Oreo cheesecake blizzard and they gave me very small crumbled Oreo and 6pc cheesecake that's it. Well, that's not worth 10 bucks, it looks like vanilla ice cream, If I want vanilla ice cream I'll definitely go to McDonald's It’s only $1.29. There is no way to come to your store spend $10. Good luck.

This dq location is very good but usually has a weird smell of something that smells like sewage, but the people working here are very kind and accommodating and the food is always good.

Kylie tried hard on my blizzard but Jackson W made the best one I've ever had and Connor W made the best burger I've ever had.not sure if they're related but the W means absolutely winning.

Kendra a Manager you pay to treat, speak & serve customers with respect needs to take the BASS out her Voice. She is not capable of speaking to unsatisfied paying customers with respect, unable to Resolve an issue without attitude & the mistake was done on their behalf. Kendra solution is to suggest to your customers to find another location! Me personally I will just go to the grocery store.
Good Luck with Kendra (if that's her name) & her BASS! Maybe a cubicle punching paper would be a better fit for Kendra!

Dairy Queen is terrible.
Unfortunately after coming here I got a stomach ache.
The service was bad.
Teenagers need a better supervisor.
She was just running around like a headless chicken.
She didn't have things under control.
Food items were running out.
Food was overpriced and salty AF.
Overall really disappointed, won't be returning.

This place used to be great. Food looks good but the taste is not. The restrooms need to be clean, the smell is gross. May be with a little more of care and team work this can get better. The tables and the floors are clean.

If you want customer service this is NOT the DQ to come to. We will never come back to this location terrible service. I did complain to the Manager by the name of Kendra and she made it more than clear that if we are not happy we could go to a different DQ. We were charged for food that we did not receive after having to wait for ten minutes going thru the drive thru.
I suggest that you put you management team through customer service training because they have no idea how to treat customers. The management as this Shawnessey location is no more than less desirable Changes need to be made at this location.

I went for ice cream with my kids and the skinny black haired girl was extremely rude and then I heard her talking to someone about how ugly my kids were.she then aggressively gave my family their order and said “you can go now. ”, my daughter left nearly in tears and all of our orders were messed up.thanks for wasting my money.

Me and my husband were enjoying our meals at 9 o'clock when suddenly the manager, Kendra was berating and screaming at her own employee in front of customers for simply cleaning the seating area and doing her job. Would like to see a more professional management moving forward with this franchise!

So tired of ordering medium sundaes and getting less than half filled. Order cheese burger and get home to plain. Ask for tray just to have sundaes fall onto floor cause they don't fit in tray.

Edit for July 2 2022.tried again and they still got order wrong. How can you mess up almost every order?

Do not go here, go to the one on Elbow Drive and Heritage Drive. They price gouge you to an insane degree. I bought 2 1 liter vanilla softserves from them and it cost 8.20$ each. The one on Elbow and Heritage charges 5.49$ each. I could have almost bought 3 from Elbow for the price I paid. I don't know about their other items but their prices being 49% higher? I won't be back.

Food and ice cream was tasty but it was a bunch of RUDE teenagers who couldn't follow instructions at all. I asked for them to put the ice cream cone in a cup upside down (I was in the drive threw and still had to drive home wit it) and she put it cone side down in the cup.couldn't get it out of the cup (unless I would have covered my hand in ice cream) they had to eat it in the cup and the cone was a bit soggy from the small amount it melted. Not too happy with the service. Very RUDE employee's.

Just a bunch of rude teenagers and their ice cream was horrible. They give attitude when you just ask a simple question. Please train your staff better ive worked in the fast food industry and I’ve never treated costumers this way.

So have been to this location twice now, they are yet to get an order correct. First time we got a totally different order, the entire experience took 45 minutes for "fast" food. Tonight yet again our order is wrong and blizzard is more of a milkshake. WILL NOT RETURN

This location is usually pretty good, however the quality of the blizzards has recently seemed to deteriorate, especially in comparison to other locations within the city. We got a few of the new Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzards and were surprised to find these contained mostly vanilla soft serve and very little of the gummy worms and candies sprinkled throughout. These same blizzards at a different location were much more chocolate-based, loaded with gummies, and both presented and tasted much better. This DQ might be closer to home, but I'd rather drive a bit further for a better blizzard.

Worst customer service ever.
This is based on a visit 15 minutes ago where I tried to purchase a cake, and requested to write a simple word on the cake. The store was empty and all of the employees refused to write on the cake because they said it was "busy" at the drive through. One of the staff with short hair, was very rude and disrespectful and she said she could do it in 20 minutes or the next day. I was in a hurry and I informed them of that yet they still refused to write. The in store customers should be treated as equally as the drive-thru customers. This staff member lacks proper customer service skills. The customer should not have to wait that long for a simple order. The store manager should hire people who have common sense, skills, and respect for their customers.

Hello DQ managers and/or owners, today I am not proud to say my experience at this location was dreadful.
I came in today (March 27th) with my daughter in the evening and was greeted with awful service from someone who I assume to be a woman? I'm not entirely sure, it had orange hair in a bun. I am severely disappointed to say how poorly my daughter and I were treated. Firstly, it was taking ages to get our order out. I began to observe and watch it as it fiddled with some loose band for the cups FOR A WHOLE MINUTE AND A HALF. Then when it was making my blizzard it seemed as if it didn't know how the machine worked. Are the staff not being properly trained? Above this it had the nastiest attitude I have ever came into contact with at this establishment. When I came up to ask how much longer it would be since my daughter (whom is autistic) was beginning to grow impatient and would potentially have a meltdown, the orange bun thing absolutely reeked of bio odour and proceeded to SCOFF AND ROLL ITS EYES AT ME. When I sat back down I caught it glaring at me often until my order came up and after when we began to leave. I'm not sure if it was having a bad day, or maybe a rough ending of a weekend, but that is absolutely no excuse to treat customers in this manner. I debated coming up and making a stink about the attitude but concluded it was not worth the battle especially in front of my daughter. I'm sad to say my family and I will not be coming back to this location as clearly we were not made welcome. I'm afraid to tell my daughter no the next time she asks to visit here as a treat. Not at all pleased DQ, please do better so this doesn't happen to another customer.

We got a hard cooked chicken burger through the drive through. When we returned it the young man at the windows was very polite and apologized. We got a replaced chicken burger right away. For this I am very happy to the staff how they handled the situation. The sandwich we got was very good so thank you staff

Dairy Queen usually always has great blizzards but I tried the cotton candy one today and it could definitely use a little more cotton candy flavouring, I found it quite plain and maybe a little less hard candies. For a blizzard it sure required a lot of chewing and the hard candies started hurting my job after a bit.

If you want the best mixed blizzards, come here. Cannot go to any other DQ now because of how good the blizzards are from here. The staff are super friendly, great people. Love this location

The food is AWFUL/DIRTY/DISGUSTING. It's just a bunch of careless teenagers who make everything wrong, I've complained multiple times and never once got a refund or replacement. This is the worst DQ I've ever been to.

Been here twice both times their burgers were gross and extremely greasy. The first time the bun was so hard I had to throw it out and use bread from my house and used paper towel to absorb the grease. I suggest going across the street to McDonald. Never had an issue there. Like Marc said the ice cream products are fine. But for spending 26$ for a couple basic off the menu combos you would think the meal would be a bit better then what we were served.

There was just ONE customer waiting for her order but the employees there decided to have a conversation with her but I waited, when she left the 3 employees that were in front of me just left and didn't even acknowledged me. Way to go to make me feel good there DQ! Keep up the good work

I would give this place 0 stars if I had the option to. We decided to order a work lunch and dessert from this location, since the order was going to be for 19 people, I called the location to ask if we could inform them in advance of our order, so they could start preparing. I spoke to a lady on the phone, and she mentioned that any orders placed will have to be done in person; my manager and I drove to the location and placed our order of 18 blizzards and 19 baskets of chicken fingers and fries. We understood and made it evident that we were not in a rush, (but would like our order prepared at a decent time) and saw that the front line staff were more than willing to take our order; our blizzards were made quickly and efficiently. However, as soon as we told them we needed the 19 baskets, another lady stormed in and mentioned "this will take at least an hour. " An hour for 19 baskets of chicken fingers and fries didn't add up to us, but we gave them the option of us coming back and picking up the food. As we were leaving, we could see that some of our baskets were being prepared, and we asked the cashier if it was possible that we took at least 5 or 6 baskets with us then, and then come back for the rest after an hour. The same lady who had stormed in earlier mentioned that "they will all be made at once, " loud enough for us to hear at the front of the store. My manager and I went back after an hour to pick up the remaining order, realizing that we had been charged for 25 blizzards instead of 18; although we had paid on credit card, the cashier mentioned that she "cannot process a refund on a credit card and will have to give cash. " We didn't argue, but were highly frustrated at this point; we just wanted our food (which we had waited 1 hour for). As we were leaving, a younger guy came up to us and said "for future, we need you to give us 1 week notice so we can ensure there is enough chicken. " I then mentioned to him that we had tried to call in advance, and a member from the store was the one who had said that we need to place all orders in person. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, there was absolutely no thank you for the business and large order that we gave the store, and the staff seemed absolutely flustered with the lack of organization and lack of customer service. Not a single apology for the error made or the frustration this caused us. OF COURSE, the food we waited 1 hour for was COLD! WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION!
