There was only 2 customers in the store with basic orders. Took over 20 minutes because there was no one working the front counter. She was too busy chatting with her co worker laughing in the back to notice our food that was ready and sitting on the window for a good 5 minutes. Also paid for a bag and she didn’t give me one. Awkwardly picked up each piece of food and dips one at a time and carried it out. Pretty bad
Food was decent, but I asked for a handful of ketchup packets and got three, the Pepsi I poured myself was all club soda and no flavour, and I wasted half of my break waiting for service
The service and aura of laziness ozzes out of the staff. When they gave our cups it was just put on the counter. Legit there was nothing like “here is no your drink cups”. There was no aura of customer service in their work.
Gave this DQ one last chance…. But was heavily disappointed once again. Extremely poor management and customer service. This location refuses to put more then a few pieces in their blizzards and also refuses to accept local coupons.
Will gladly go out of my way to go somewhere else.
Every time I visit this location my food is hot and fresh. The staff is always so pleasant and the customer service makes me feel like I matter as a customer. I don’t usually care for DQ food just their treats but this place I love the chicken wraps and burgers at this location.
I would recommend this place if you wanna have some ice cream or their Blizzard. Personally, I never liked the food at DQ. Poutine, Fries and Chicken strips were just average. I'd rather go for their ice-cream than for their fried items:) I find it empty most of the time and there is enough parking.
I love Dairy Queen, but this has to be one of the worst DQs you can go to. They are so slow, and give much smaller than typical portions. You will be much happier if you take the time to go to the one in West Edmonton Mall. Service is so much better, and so is the value for your money.
The service is nice, the food is decent, but I have noticed that they only half-heartedly turn blizzards on their side, ever so slightly, rather than put them upside down, as you'd expect. I've read that the "flip or free" deal is only up to the discretion of individual DQ franchisees, so I don't know if this specific one does or not, but still, I figured it was worth noting for others who may come across this page.
Stopped in there tonight after golf and ordered a 6pc chicken basket and small blizzard. The blizzard took about 30 seconds which was great, but the chicken took a long time. I really wouldn't have cared, except I got half way home before I opened the box, and seen the chicken strips were all about the size of my pinky finger, felt half cooked, and there were only 4 of them! Might be because out of the 5 people I seen standing around, 4 of them were on their phones, and obviously much too busy to count out the full 6 that I ordered and paid for. Absolutely not worth the nearly $23 for one meal. Do yourself a favor, and go to McDonald's.
I went last minute for a cake for my daughters birthday, they we awesome help with a specific cake she wanted and had it ready by the next morning for us. Thanks for the great customer service!
