Yesterday we had a big party at our church and we got food from here and the food was really good and it looked amazing, overall thank you so much for the staff and the chefs. I definitely recommend Damascus shawarma.
Food here is fantastic. We had the mixed wrap and shawarma shami. Don’t skip the baklava. If I lived in Calgary, it would be a frequented spot! Everything was top notch and possibly the friendliest service I’ve ever experienced. A must stop!
There authentic shawarma is to die for. If you just try it, you will not regret it, the best shawarma I have ever had. This plate is from a christmas party at our church.
I overheard some out of town construction workers say that Damascus is the best shawarma ever, so I decided that I had to give it a try.
The chicken shawarma platter blew me out of the atmosphere!
Fresh ingredients, seasoned nicely, balanced professionally. I dislike giving a five star review because I don’t want it to go to their heads, but these guys are true chefs.
Thanks for the tip guys from Winnipeg if you happen to read this.
Listen like I’m not even gonna sit here and try to explain what the shami with pomegranate molasses even tastes like. I’m not even gonna describe the atmosphere or the service. Today for dinner drive down and get one. If it isn’t a transcendental experience feel free to email me and I’ll pay for it. It’s in a stratosphere of its own when it comes to any food. I’ve never been this shocked at the taste of something that I thought I was eating before. I’m Arab, I eat shawarma all the time. We invented shawarma and I still feel like before trying this I was eating fire shawarma. But no more, THIS is shawarma. It was an honour and a privilege to partake in this experience. Poetry translated into food. I’ve grown from this experience. I’m a better person. God did.
The best shawarma in town. I ordered shawarma for five people. I did not expect this quantity. It was enough for eight people. Thank you for everything, guys. Thank you, Rezan Adnan and Ahmed.
We visited this place today and their arabic chicken shawarma platter was absolutely amazing, loved the food, ambience and service. Every person their was so nice and welcoming. Will definitely visit soon again
The only place you get somewhat close to the real arabian shawarma. I have tried the lahem and shami. They were nice when I requested fries inside the shawarma wrap. Made it like a true arab shawarma. No lettuce or any other garbage they put in all the other places.
The taste comes very close to saudi shawarma wrap. I just hope and wish they provide you with pita only option going forward
