We had the pleasure of meeting Jason and his team when he was DJ at our corporate function. We requested a DJ and photo-booth and Dance Shout helped make our evening a huge success. They came prepared with lights, and a great selection of music that kept the group dancing all evening. The lady at the Photo-booth kept us all laughing with the props they provided.
By Monday morning all photos were uploaded to me so I could continue to share them with all the participants.

One of the best DJ /AV companies I have worked with! They were on time, super fast at set up, played great music that worked with the crowd, and came with additional equipment in case any of their equipment wasn't working. Also really friendly and professional. I also loved the fact that they offer screens and lighting with their packages! I will definitely use them for my next event!

My wife and I got married in Cochrane AB recently, and we were lucky to book our DJ through Dance! Shout! Productions. Jason was fantastic in informing us on the services they provide and were consistently providing updates and checking in on the progress of our wedding planning. The website where we list the music we wanted for our ceremony and reception was incredible. DJ Brock was super chill, easy to work with, and often anticipated our needs before we made any suggestions. He kept the dance floor full and always had the perfect song for the moment cued up. Jason himself took on the responsibility of manning our photo booth, which provided endless fun for everyone at the wedding. I couldn't recommend these gentlemen or this service enough. Do yourself a favor and have Dance! Shout! Productions do the music / photo booth for your event!

Jason was perfect. The timing and music was fantastic. He did not miss a beat. Everyone thought he was great and I got so many compliments on the music selection. I just gave him a few songs and direction I wanted to go and he nailed it. Very professional and easy-going at the same time.

We had DJ Brock for our wedding at the Wainwright Hotel at Heritage Park last Saturday and our guests are raving about how good the dance party was after the dinner. We had a diverse group of older folks, kids and people in there 20s, 30s and 40s. DJ Brock played the perfect mix to make sure people of all ages were up dancing until 1am. I think my guests would of danced to 3am if they could have! I also really liked the way DJ Brock transitioned from one song to another, I felt it was very smooth. DJ Brock also helped us keep to our schedule with our first dance, parent dance. We even did a live performance for our guests part way through the night, and DJ Brock also helped us schedule a good time for that in the middle of the dance party. Even with that small break in the dance party with our live performance, DJ Brock was able to get the party going again after we had finished. He also helped us with announcements (ie.late night snacks) when no one knew the snacks had been brought out. He had a fun way of getting the crowds attention when we needed him to through out the dance party after the dinner. Both Jason and Brock also replied to my emails quickly and gave me very useful information about my venues. Jason has a lot of experience with DJing at many of the wedding venues in Calgary. I would use Dance! Shout! Productions again.

We hired Dance! Shout! Productions to DJ our wedding on May 26th of this year. We were very fortunate to have been assigned DJ Scott who did an outstanding job. From the very beginning Dance! Shout! Productions were great to work with and very responsive. DJ Scott was very professional and read the crowd at our wedding exceptionally. We hired DanceShout for our wedding in September and got to work with Jason, the owner. It was one of the BEST decisions we made with our wedding planning!  He took care of our ceremony music + mics (in the middle of a field where there was no power), our reception music / DJing, tent uplighting,  and dance floor party lighting.  One of my only regrets is not hiring the photobooth option as well.  Though the process of preparing for our wedding with him was time-consuming (filling in details on the online portal and meetings + emails to go over logistics), it was so, so, SO worth it. Jason's system is well-honed and ensured that everything related to music / sound / lighting on our wedding day went smoothly! We had nothing to worry about when it came to the sound system and the music. We fell behind schedule due to our shuttles, but Jason adapted efficiently and enthusiastically. Thanks to ill-advised TikTok advice, I had a rather complicated vision for the ceremony music, but Jason rose to the challenge and delivered! He took the time to research and understand our tastes and needs as a couple, and made sure the dancefloor reflected both our desires and the vibe of the room! This was a crazy Ukrainian Punjabi wedding, and Jason was able to source songs to suit all of our needs. We had a number of guests tell us that we had the most lit wedding dancefloor they'd ever seen. I didn't want a tacky lighting set up and literally had a powerpoint explaining my vision to Jason. Again, he rose to the challenge and really transformed the vibe of our wedding venue with his lighting equipment, even bringing a disco ball (that I was really excited for). We can't thank you enough Jason!

Jason was the DJ at our wedding in Canmore AB and he was AMAZING! I truly can not thank him enough for his attention to detail, the meeting we had leading up to the wedding was incredibly helpful. He walked me through the entire day and because of his experience he went above and beyond with all of my questions about the flow of a wedding as well as his recommendations for how things should work (based on the fact he had done tons of weddings at our venue). I truly didnt realize just how important it is to ensure your DJ understands exactly the ton of the wedding day and Jason absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. I could not recommend him and Dance! Shout! Enough!

This past weekend we had the pleasure of having Jason DJ both our wedding ceremony and reception. He did a fantastic job with both.

Jason was very easy to work with and had a great personality - he was always answering our emails promptly, helping us problem solve and really listened to what we were wanting our wedding music to sound like. He also went above and beyond to get us music that is not on your usual wedding playlist.

Jason's music variety had everyone up on the dance floor all night long - we did not have a single time when people were not on the dance floor. We had so many compliments from our guests about how good the DJ was and how good the music was. Several of our friends wives even commented that this was the first wedding they had attended where their husbands spent more time on the dance floor then them.

We are very grateful for every Jason did for us on our special day and would 100% recommend anyone to book him for any event.

DJ Brock was the DJ for our wedding. He was awesome! Great communication, punctual, flexible with song requests, a great fill in MC, and kept the party going all night long! We had DJ Brock for our 120 person wedding last weekend. We cannot express in words how much we appreciated Brock’s work. He was so open to all requests our guests made and his timing of songs was perfect. We requested a unique blend of two songs for our first dance and he had no problem creating us a perfect mix. I had stumbled upon Dance! Shout! For my wedding in September 2022 through an online search. We met with Jason after he was able to provide us quotes and descriptions of his services quickly. He was super easy to talk to and we felt instantly comfortable. We booked for DJ and up-lighting services.

DJ Brock was assigned to us and we quickly hit it off with him over a zoom call and emails back and forth. He was super prompt with emailing and was so easy going and accommodating. I did some last minute changes on my music selection and it was not an issue. I cannot say enough good things about Brock, the set up was seamless and he did everything we had asked of him and more! I had some off the wall song choices that he was able to blend and make flow through the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

A few things I did want to highlight, my Masters of Ceremonies were very nervous and they said that Brock helped out immensely to calm their nerves and help them through the process of hosting the evening. Another really cool note was that Brock was able to find/create dance music out of my special songs that were ballads (processional song, etc.) I thought that was a really nice touch and got everyone on the dance floor.

I would highly recommend Dance! Shout! To anybody looking for a super fun, high energy DJ and special props to anybody lucky enough to get Brock as their DJ!

Jason was the DJ at our wedding and he is truly the best! The planning portal made it so easy to input our special songs as well as any requests we had. The portal even provides most requested songs to give you ideas if you are struggling to select your special songs or even just for the dance. Jason planned a virtual meeting with us to walk through the planning forms to ensure all of the necessary details were included to make sure the day went seamlessly. Jason also did an amazing job on the day of the wedding, playing all the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner music as well as keeping the crowd dancing the whole night. We received so many compliments from our guests about the music as well as the sound quality. We also used the photo booth which was another crowd pleaser, Jason had everything set up and ready to go! He also designed the perfect background for both our printed and electronic photos. Jason was an amazing DJ and made our Wedding Reception so much fun. He did an excellent job reading the room's energy and kept the excitement up throughout the night. SOOO glad we went with Jason for our wedding event. We went with the digital photo booth and he even took the time to customize a special wedding template, unique to us! We all are raving about how great our DJ was! He played a great balance of variety of genres of songs for all our guests! We had a 130 guest wedding the enjoyed a variety of different songs like Top 40, kid friendly, country, hard rock, and classic rock. He did an amazing job reading the crowd! My groom requested The Last Saskatchewan Pirate to dance the Jolly Roger and he played many encores based on the energy level of our guests! It was an unforgettable moment and an epic highlight of the night!

We were so impressed at how many guests remained so late at the wedding! We hired Dance About Productions to DJ our wedding. Throughout the entire process Jason was extremely easy to work with. Prompt and direct communication, but still a very personalized service. He went way out of his way to please. He accommodated a very eclectic song list, and went above and beyond in terms of setup and lighting to bring our vision for our party to life.

He is so professional and made the day go smoothly and seamlessly. A great dance party was number one priority for us, and Jason was amazing. What I ended up appreciating most was how he took care of our hours of ceremony, cocktail, and dinner music (something I originally thought we could do ourselves, thank goodness we didn't). He kindly accommodated my many requests and then built full playlists around those with songs that matched what we were going for. Jason was also incredibly helpful leading up to the big day. He emailed me about song choices and provided me options when I wasn't sure which version I wanted. He also added the music to our slideshow and formatted it so that it worked seamlessly at our venue. This took away so much stress!

My husband and I love a good dance floor at a wedding, so it was very important to us that everyone love the music. And boy did they ever! It was perfect, he played all the songs we requested and really got a feel for the type of music that would please our guests. The dance floor was full every second until last call. Dance Shout MADE our wedding reception. If you have the opportunity, book with them. If I ever need a DJ again, I'll be calling Jason.
