This is one of Calgary's more challenging disc golf courses. It's a good walk and has some decent elevation in spots. They recent added new tee boxes which are certainly nice and it's a great place to try some longer drives. However, it's not a well designed course and the city clearly doesn't regularly maintain the area well. There are multiple spots where you're throwing directly at other people or extreme close to fences. It's pretty clear people are either going over or under quite frequently. There is tons of space so the design was poorly considered. Also, the thistles/weeds were 3 feet tall in some areas. This made it difficult to find discs while also being quite painful. I definitely wouldn't go back without pants lol. Overall, it was disappointing compared to other course in the city, especially considering how much potential it has. Hopefully they can't give it some love!
