Do not go bridesmaid dress shopping here. When booking my appointment, they had me tell them the color I was looking for. They then confirmed this via phone a couple days prior to my appointment and in person when we arrived. They pulled multiple dresses for my girls to try on before informing us that they no dresses available to order in size 12 or 14 in my preferred color and only 1 option in close but incorrect size in my back up color. I realize it is due to their change in ownership that they are limited with what they have in the warehouse but I feel like there were many points where they should have checked for what they were able to order before assuring me “yes we have up to size 30 in all colors” and having the girls try on a bunch of dresses they couldn’t actually order.

Lynn was so wonderful! My cousin found the dress of her dreams and Lynn made the experience so special for her. Highly recommend her!

I booked an appointment with the salon over a month prior to the appointment and when I got there my consultant was sweet, but she was double booked and was running around and was probably only with me about 30% of the time I was there and she was good at choosing dresses but one time she brought me the complete wrong size and wrong style of dress because it was meant for her other bride. I don’t blame her, it was chaotic to say the least. It’s sad because I did find a dress that I loved but I didn’t have a moment because crammed so close with 2 other brides on either side of me it was hard to have that fun and relaxing experience that I was able to have at smaller, well managed stores.

I went in on a spur of the moment decision. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. I was able to find a beautiful bridesmaid dress in the perfect fit! I was worried that because I am more than a size 12, there would be little to no selection for an off the rack purchase, but I had several dresses to try on and choose from! Overall, a wonderful experience.

I went into David's to begin looking for some wedding stuff, and the store was great. What made the store even better was one of the customer service reps, Jessica. She was incredibly helpful with the questions I had for her and she really made my visit even more productive.

If you go to David's, Jessica has to be the go-to.

I found my bridal dress with the help of your sweet staff Jasmeen! I was all by myself to buy a dress, it was an emotional decision for me, as getting married in COVID times is not easy. My family couldn't be with me but Jasmeen was so nice and gave me honest advice, helped me find exactly what I was looking for and stayed in budget! Loved the experience!

I had a wonderful appointment today. I’m renewing my wedding vows in a few months and Lynn was able to help me find the perfect dress. I sent her a few pictures ahead of time of what I was looking for and she was able to pull many dresses in the style wanted, as well within budget. Lynn is very knowledgeable with the styles and brands of the dresses, she had so many tips and tricks for the actual day as well. So happy with my experience at David’s Bridal. Can’t wait to say “I Do” again!

Shout out to Faith for being super easygoing and friendly! I was very nervous trying on dresses for the first time, but Faith kept things relaxed and fun, and even made me laugh a couple times. Plenty of good options, I think I definitely will be returning when it comes to bridesmaid dresses, but I fell in love with a dress elsewhere.
The store seems pretty well managed, but there just seems to be a lot going on all the time (which might just be the rush for weddings now that restrictions are lifting).

Upon arrival we were told our consultant had not started her shift yet, so to start looking at dresses and she would find us. So into the throes we went, but there were too many people in the store at the same time. Like 9+ bridesmaids all rifling through 2 racks of dresses, normally not a concern but not the best practice during the current pandemic. 2 of my bridesmaids liked this one dress out of the magazine they give you and we couldn’t find the sample. So I went to ask someone at the front, I was informed she could not help me and I needed to wait for my consultant. Eventually she showed up. At no point did the consultant introduce herself to me, in fact I realize I still don’t know her name. She said there was no sample for that dress. So sadly we skipped it. I have three bridesmaids and we were told we had rooms 1,2, and 3. Turns out someone else was using them. So then we were given 13 and 17. Not even beside each other and only 2 rooms. Finally someone reorganized so we had 12,13, and 14 so at least we were together and there was enough for all of them. The consultant was very pushy and abrupt. My one bridesmaid had on a sample that was too small and she insisted on zipping her in despite her request not too; she could barely breath. And then my other bridesmaid was tying a sash on the side to see how it looked and she immediately came over and undid it because she “was doing it wrong”. Neither myself nor my bridesmaids felt comfortable at this appointment, we left without purchasing and will not be returning. From the selection of dresses available we found the quality lacking and several incredibly uncomfortable. They need to organize their schedule in advance and make sure it lines up with the appointments they have booked. Print a blank template of the dressing rooms and assign the number needed to each consultant. Also don’t book appointments when a consultant is not yet available. Super disappointed with this outing, was really looking forward to doing something fun with my bridesmaids as we haven’t done much due to the pandemic. This experience did not deliver.

Wonderful place to shop for your special occasion, very friendly and helpful staff who listen to what your looking for and will help you find your perfect size, I didn't know mine at all and they helped alot to find my size

Most bridal shops they bring you dresses. They didnt bring us any dresses. We had to find them ourselves.they didn't clip us up or make our dresses fit better so we could actually see how they looked, it was a very poor experience. No one was helpful. I defintley will not be reccomending David's bridal to anyone I know.

The ladies at David’s bridal Edmonton are very friendly and super helpful. Shanygne was my stylist and she’s very very helpful and friendly. She made sure I feel comfortable in my bridal appointment. And surely did found my wedding dress! I can’t wait to see the final look after the alterations ️

The 2 lovely ladies helped me to find a perfect wedding dress for me that suits me perfectly, i walked out of the door with a wedding dress ready to wear for my wedding.

Disappointing. As a plus sized person I was given assurances that there would be plenty of styles to choose from. When I arrived I was sent to a back wall and told to pick stuff out even though I made an appointment with a stylist. When she did show up, we managed to find a grand total of 4 outfits to try. Two did not work because she had picked the wrong size. The other two, one was a pantsuit which I said I didn’t want and the other was a dress that clung to all the bumps I was hoping to camouflage. She said it fit and looked good. I looked like a sausage. When I asked if there was anything else, she just said no. I got dressed and left. I don’t know if she wasn’t well trained on how to fit larger people or if the store just wanted to get me to buy something, thinking I wouldn’t know better?

Absolutely wonderful dress buying experience!

I don't wear dresses often and I'm not a fan of shopping for clothes, so the prospect of finding a nice dress for an upcoming event was very daunting.

Wendy was a guardian angel from the moment she greeted us. She helped walk me through the process, asking helpful questions, listening to my concerns, and translating my words into dress designs she'd pull out from their inventory.

We efficiently narrowed down my options to a selection of five dresses for me to try on. Two of the first few were really good, and the fifth one I tried on was a perfect dress for me. Comfortable and beautiful beyond what I had thought possible. After a mere two hours and one trip to David's Bridal, my dress dilemma was solved. They have such much more than just wedding dresses. I got a dress, shoes, and accessories done in one stop. Thank you!

I was in your establishment on Aug. 16 to purchase a dress for my granddaughter's wedding in Sept. We were helped by Farsha in making the selection. She was helpful in all respects. I found she listened to what I wanted, then proceeded to bring items that might suit me. I highly recommend her for her professional approach, her sense of humor, and her ability to match the product with the customer. I am anxious to attend this event and eager to wear my new outfit.

I found my dress! I was so impressed with both David’s Bridal in General and Shanygne in particular. She gave just the right balance of attentive customer service and space to discuss among ourselves. This was Huge for me! I was Wildly impressed with Shanygne when she had my dress profile already printed out and so was able to ask very specific questions about what I was looking for. She already had a ballpark idea and was able to help me focus on exactly what I was thinking of. When I decided that this was the dress, she gave me my own “Say Yes to the Dress” moment. She told me how David’s Bridal had a 70 year tradition when a bride finds her dress. She says a prayer or makes a wish for what she wants with her future, the consultant makes a wish for the couple as well. Then she gets a bouquet of flowers to hold and a bell to ring while everyone cheers and celebrates for her.

Cairo was so amazing helping my mom and I find a formal evening gown! We had probably hundreds of dresses tried on by the end of our appointment and she was so happy and helpful through the entire experience! Wonderful store and service, would definitely recommend ️

Davids bridal is the perfect place to find a dress for any occasion! The vibe of the store was amazing and i felt confident in every dress i tried on. We had Quinn assist us to help find a dress and i left the store feeling better than when i came in. Thank you!

Disappointed with the selection of styles in mesh fabric, which I found most comfortable for bridesmaids dresses. Also disappointed that they only had one strapless/ sweetheart style dress. I found their selection of their purple colour palette was lacking - too light of purple, too dark of purple, and the rest were more red-purple. I wish they had an intermediate purple. It seemed like whenever we asked the lady helping us about certain styles, the answer was usually "this is the only one we have".

The customer service is hit and miss in this store, but I was able to get some beautiful jewelry that matched my dress very well for a decent price (sometimes they have sales at least on accessories). I'd suggest going at a quiet time, and just hope the staff will assist you well. In terms of bridesmaid dresses - we went here to try on some to get a feel for styles. Most dresses were below $200 that we tried and they do have a variety of colours to choose from. They did not have the colour I wanted (medium purple) so we bought our dresses elsewhere, but it was not a very common colour.

Lynn was extremely kind, giving us great advice for the wedding day. Would highly recommend Lynn as a wedding stylist, she was sincere and helpful in every way!

Unfortunately, it seems that my review will be similar to others I have read recently, with David's Bridal scoring less then 3/5 stars and touting poor customer service.

In sum, the quality of the dress and price point is hard to beat; however, the quality of a customer service was poor.

To expand: The store was very clean and all associates wore masks. The quality of the dresses seem high and selection was large. I was able to find a dress to suit my body type in the color that was selected by the bride.

However. The store did not have the color nor material selection on record that the bride had selected, and they did not give the 10% discount that was promised when making a booking. Our sales associate seemed aggresively disinterested, to both us, and the bride she was assisting. She often selected dresses that were up to 3 sizes higher then I am, and brought styles that had not been selected. Frankly, once she went to help another customer was I able to actually make any progress.

I cannot describe enough how our associate made this experience less then *special.

I am optimistic though that our experience would have been more positive with another associate. Some who were floating around the store actually seemed interested and enthusiastic about their jobs. I hope that they provide a better experience then the one I recieved.

Needless to say I am not overly impressed with the service at David's Bridal. I have visited the store now 4 times and each time left quite disappointed. I understand that this was through a pandemic but you would think that while they are probably a bit slower during all this that they would try to make what customers they have happy. The dresses took quite a long time from ordering to arrival, one came with a red stain on it and had to be returned - which we still don't have and we ordered at the end of January. The second time I was there to try on wedding dresses they tried to sell me on one that was too small because that was the only size they had in that particular dress - uhmmmn, no thanks. In the same visit -as we walked in - there was a new employee on the phone trying to help a customer with a return request - the floor manager was over her shoulder and treating the employee so rudely that my daughter and I almost left. The last time I was there we wasted over an hour to find out that the color we were looking for has been discontinued and there is nothing we could have done. I decided to possibly find another color and mismatch the dresses as we are rushed. We picked another color and yet again - nothing available across Canada.like what do you have?

I had a great experience at David's Bridal. Jodi did such an amazing job with picking dresses for me and listening to what I was looking for! She made me feel comfortable through out the whole process. I highly recommend going there!

My assistant, Emerald, was very helpful and didn't push the budget at all! She let my entourage take the reigns and was there to button and lace and bring a veil whenever we asked.

Very helpful from the minute we walked into the door till we left we had a 2 hour time slot booked for my graduation dress and my moms wedding dress. We also had time to find bridesmaid dresses. It was an absolutely great experience shout out to thy 10 starts for her awesome input and great sense of humour

I came alone in search of a bridal dress and Emerald was absolutely lovely. Helped with my selection, trying on dresses and even took photos for me. She made my experience so much better and more personal and I'm so thankful. She even picked a dress out for me that will probably be THE dress! Thank you Emerald <3 Everyone was absolutely lovely.

I came to look at bridesmaid dresses with my MOH.
My first impression wasn't great as the lady just told us heres the dresses have a look and I will send your stylist over.there's so many dresses I felt overwhelmed.
My stylist was Soroya and she was fantastic! She was so nice and helped with the different styles. I never thought I'd have so much fun looking for bridesmaid dresses. When I go back with my other bridesmaids I will request her. The other ladies didn't seem very nice at all.

Scarlet was a huge help and very friendly! We were able to find a bridal gown and bridesmaid dresses in the same day. Very efficient and easy.

I came in this past weekend on Saturday as part of a bridal party.
We came in excited and on time for our appointment. However our appointment did not start off great as one of the receptionists was very rude. There were two ladies at the receptionist desk who greeted us, but one of the ladies was very impolite and abrupt. We weren’t able to hear/understand her properly a couple of times while we were checking in, and she would practically yell back and acted like our presence was annoying her. The other younger lady at the desk was the opposite. She was very kind, welcoming and she took the liberty of walking us to the bridesmaid dresses. She could visibly tell the bride was upset with that interaction, and apologized for any inconvenience and told us to come to her if we had any questions. We all thought we were going to have a terrible time at this appointment based on how it started, but the customer service there on out was great! Our consultant then came and we really enjoyed our time with her! She was very understanding with what we wanted and was always open to our choices. There were also other consultants, maybe managers, who checked in on us during our time there!
It is a shame though that the rude receptionist at the beginning put a dent in our experience. I'm not sure why they'd have someone so rude as the first person in the store that brides and bridesmaids interact with.

While still unsure about wedding details due to COVID! The staff were welcoming and quick and knew just how to make things look so it would be more appealing! I didn’t buy a dress but likely will be back!

Searching for the perfect grad dress for my beautiful daughter today and found it! Big thanks to Natasha for all of your help, you are a sweetheart!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at the South Edmonton Common David's Bridal. I booked a 90 minute appointment about a month in advance, but it did not matter. I spent the first 20-30 minutes just wandering until someone was ready to help me. The staff member immediately informed me that she had two brides (meaning she couldn't pay attention to me I guess). She brought myself and my mom, aunt and two bridesmaids over to a closet to change in, and told them right away that we were "only allowed three chairs". I barely saw any more of the staff member after that. My bridesmaid was doing up the dresses for me because she wasn't there. She only showed up to bring the two most heinous dresses in the store over as her picks for me and to tell me an extremely outdated and awkward story about how I was a gift from my family to the grooms family. Even though the first ~third of my appointment was basically wasted, the staff member gave me a 10-minute warning to remind me to get out on time. David's Bridal may seem like a good idea to get a deal on a dress, but I am urging you to save your precious time and not set foot in this place. It was the first place I went to to try on wedding dresses and the experience was soured for my mom especially by the unprofessionalism and poor service.

Dress are pieces are fair, the ladies helping you are slow and never there when you need them.

I went in to David’s Bridal to try on dresses for my wedding and found the one. Wendy my consultant was amazing. Thank you for everything you did and thank you to all of the rest of the staff for the great customers service. I recommend anyone who is looking for a beautiful dress to check out David’s Bridal.

Was not impressed. Felt like they wanted to push you through as fast as they could. When trying on dresses I wanted to try on a ball gown style for fun and the stylist rolled her eyes at me when I asked. When I found a dress I liked they told me when I asked that they weren't sure how the alterations would affect the dress and if in the end it would fit properly. They then pressure me to order the dress that day. Seems all they care about is making a sale and pushing as many people through as possible.

As soon as we walked in we were not welcomed. We were standing to the side waiting to be acknowledged. She was helping some other people, finally she noticed us and asked if we were with this party. We said no she asked us to fill out a form. My daughter said we had an appointment The girl said I don’t know who with you today. Go look at some dressses. A lady came up to us and explained how to find dresses and disappeared. She finally came back we took photos of the dresses we wanted to see. My daughter had already went on line to pick out some dresses. We were told we don’t have most them. She brought us one dress and disappeared again. It was the wrong size for my daughter. She was waiting again half dressed in the changing room. The lady that was helping us was busy with another lady that came in after us. She already had 2 or 3 dresses to try on. Then we were shown a dress that was to large for my daughter. At this point my daughter got dressed and we were done. The lady came back and asked what else we wanted to see. We told her we were not happy with this experience. We were told that someone didn’t show up for work. We said that’s fine and we left the store. I will never refer your store to anyone. This was suppose to have been a great experience for my daughter and your company tarnished it.

Went shopping for grad dresses with my daughter. The service was great and was really happy with prices as everywhere else we went was much higher.the person who helped us was very nice and friendly too.

I booked our appt online 1.5 months ago for 3 of us trying on bridesmaid dresses. When we arrived this morning we were told had over booked our appt slot (I also believe they forgot about us because we stood around watching and waiting for our associate for 20mins) 3 of us had to share a change room, we were pulling our own dresses/sizes the entire appt and then were told we had to hurry up because we only had 15 mins left.and then again at 9 mins and once more at 5 mins.considering we had stood there for the first 20 it was very disappointing. We understood that it was busy but there was no reason for us to be treated the way that we were. I'm giving 2 Stars because they did have a good selection

My bridesmaids had a great time trying on dresses with the help of Christie. I have 4 in total and she co-ordinated their dresses well. Side note - we went at 7: 30pm on a Monday, and weekday nights are so great because it's less busy, or in our case, completely empty! I also tried some beautiful dresses here on another occasion and, while I did not end up purchasing my gown from DB, received great assistance then too.

Recently purchased my wedding dress from David’s Bridal. Trina listened to my concerns, and made me feel at home. Was 100 percent comfortable. Can’t thank Trina enough- her bubbly, caring nature made this experience a memorable time.

Our stylist, Triana, was amazing! From start to finish she was cheerful, helpful, dedicated and perceptive (she picked up on things that I didn't realize I liked/disliked about certain dress styles or fits). She even managed to keep my mom smiling throughout the whole session.which is no small feat! I should also mention that there was a stellar selection of dresses which I found completely overwhelming. Triana's expertise helped us navigate the sea of white gowns and she selected a beautiful (& affordable) dress - I couldn't be happier!

I brought my bridesmaids in to shop for dresses on Saturday, October 13 2018 - our appointment was for 12 pm, and they were ready to help us. Our consultant, Triana, was apologetic for how crazy the store was (there were no chairs available for myself or any of the girls with me). The store was extremely busy, and one of my bridesmaids had an anxiety attack, so we left early after two of my three girls picked their dresses

I went back later that evening with my MoH who was from out of town because she wasn't happy with the dress that was picked by the two other bridesmaids. When I called and explained the situation, the lady who answered the phone made time to squeeze us in at the end of the day, even though they had no appointments available.

We ended up with the same consultant, Triana, as we had in the morning. She was extremely sympathetic after we explained what was going on, and she worked with my MoH to find a dress that made her happy and confident, and complimented the dress the other girls picked.

My first experience looking for a wedding dress was okay, the original girl we had all of a sudden was paying more attention to another bride and we had another lady come and help us but she wasn't as attentive. However, she was very nice. We also got kicked out as soon as it was 9pm, which I can understand but I feel it could have been done in a more professional or nicer manner than it was done.

When I came in for my second and final dress appointment, it was amazing. Lynn (I think that was her name) was AMAZING! Incredibly nice, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. So glad I got to say "yes to the dress" with her helping me out!

Lastly, we came in just this Tuesday to start to look at bridesmaids dresses and the girl was extremely pushy and over bearing. Many times trying to get her leave, so that we could discuss things, she didn't get the hint and was pushing for us to buy the dress. It wasn't the best experience. However, she was attentive and helpful with getting dresses and helping zip up and things like that.

Even though the store had my dress section my dresses were not pulled before hand and was told some of them were not in the store but somehow were found later in the appointment. My stylist had two brides to serve at the same time which did not work well for me at all. The stylist was so focused on the other bride she gave me only the very minimum of service. I had to take the gowns out of the bag myself.many times I was waiting for the stylist to come back to do up my gown and if it was a corset back it was not done up fully. I had to undo any zippers myself. The stylist did not listen to what my party or I said, what we wanted to see or what was not working. One of the few times she was dealing with me when the other party asked for something and she left right away to help them. The stylist gave away one of the few gowns she pulled that was not on my list to the other bride she was helping. She was even asked if she was mixing up the two brides as she was pulling dresses that the other bride wanted to look at for me. The change rooms are small and with some dresses it was hard to even turn around in the change room. There is also no mirrors in the change room so as the bride I could not see myself before my party did and had to come out of the change room before even getting an idea of what I looked like. I was close to tears in this appointment at how poorly it was going. The only thing that saved this appointment was when my mother went to talk to the manager close to the end of my appointment and they moved me to the alterations fitting room to extend my appointment and took over as my stylist. I did not find my gown even after the manager took over my appointment unsure if it was because the gown was not right or if my view was so colored by how my appointment started I did not want to buy from them.

Went with my bridesmaids to look for bridesmaids dresses. We were pleased with the selection of dresses to choose from, not pleased at all with the service. The lady we had didnt seem to want to help with anything. I had to tell her multiple times to clamp the girls dresses when they were too big. Not happy with the service at all.

My sister and I came in here at the last minute and Sarah was able to squeeze us in and find us two beautiful bridesmaid dresses. Sarah is great because she will ask all the right questions to find exactly what you want. It was the middle of the day and there were a bazillion brides running around and Sarah literally pulled some strings for us and just casually slipped us in so we could try some dresses. She is extremely personable and friendly with great advice and very considerate of what WE wanted in our dresses. I would highly highly recommend Sarah for ANYONE as she is fabulous. Also, side note to management. GIVE DIS GIRL A RAISE SON. SHE DESERVES EVERY PENNY AND SHE IS MAKING THE NAME DAVIDS BRIDAL WAYYY MORE APPEALING JUST CAUSE SHE WORKS THERE.

The only positive thing was that I did find my dress (although they didn't have the exact size I needed so fingers crossed it fits perfectly when it arrives). The bell-ringing tradition was cool too.sales lady was nice enough but WAY too busy trying to help 2 parties at once.
Store was not overly clean (changing rooms were cramped and floors dirty!). & no mirror inside the change room! I definitely would not go back as we also went to several other "boutique" bridal stores afterwards looking for a bridesmaid dress & they had the whole "bridal experience" setting I was looking for a missed at David's Bridal.

This was my first time ever trying on bridal gowns and I honestly wasn’t expecting too much. I was pleasantly surprised. The first time I dealt with Lynn and she was very patient and thorough. I left feeling great about myself and the shopping experience. I went back a week later to retry on one of the dresses along with a few more and Trina helped me. She was amazing! She was very patient and brought me all sorts of gowns that I had no idea I would even like. Our appointment ran almost an hour past when she was finished work, but she stayed to help me find the dress. I would recommend David’s Bridal to anyone to find their perfect dress for their special day.

Overall I was very disappointed in the service I received for my bridesmaids dress appointment. When we arrived, we were greeted and told our shopping associate would be with us shortly so if we wanted to start browsing we could do so. Myself and the girls started browsing dresses, very unsure of where to even start looking because the racks were a complete mess and disorganized. I understand how the system works with the dresses being sorted by style number, but that doesn't work so well when nothing is in the right place. 5 or 10 minutes went by when I noticed a lady with a clipboard around us, and I had to speak up and ask if she was looking for us, turns out she was but didn't say anything. She asked what we needed help with. My reply was something along the lines of saying we're looking for bridesmaids dresses, in a light grey, to the floor length. Her answer was "okay". So I proceeded to ask her for some direction of if she could show me some colour swatches, or an area where we would find those styles a little quicker than looking through every rack, and she basically just said to look through all the dresses and try some on. So, thats what we did. We started pulling dresses for the girls to try on, she didn't offer any assistance in helping with sizes, or fit. She stood there and did nothing unless I asked her a question. There were no dresses offered in the traditional styles from Davids Bridal in the colour I was looking for. We realized on our own that the only colour that is close to what we were looking for was only offered in the Vera Wang collection, we began looking at those styles to see maybe if that would work for the look we were going for. We found almost all the dress styles had belts, yet pretty much all the gowns were missing the belt, which made it really difficult to see the full look of the dress, as well as once again find a proper fit. When I asked our sales associate about this, she brought me random belts that were completely the wrong color (ex.a hot pink belt for a light grey dress) for the girls to try on. Which I understand does help us with seeing the fit with the belt, but completely ruins the look of the dress when you're trying to imagine what it will look like. Maybe if the belt was even kind of close to the right colour it would've helped. Anyways, at this point we were feeling pretty frustrated and disappointed, our associate just stood there and didn't really offer any suggestions to us, so we told her "thanks but we don't really see anything thats going to work" and she just told us goodbye and sorry that we didn't find anything and walked away before we even gathered our things and left the dressing room area.

I would strongly caution against anyone going to David's for bridal or bridesmaid dresses. There are a multitude of other places where you aren't placed like sardines in a bank of change rooms with no privacy and not even enough room to sit.

It is the only place where they don't clip you in or add panels so that you can get an idea of what dresses would look like. Our consultant was also awful, it was like providing feedback to a brick wall - she couldn't find us what we wanted, held back on informing us about other dresses until we looked through the David's brand and was not friendly.

Any other bridal studio offers you a more private and special experience with samples that haven't been trampled.
