Delivery was held up over a week in there Warehouse. Called Daily to get updates
Very poor Customer service.
Wouldn't Recommend this outfit.

Apparently it takes 3-4 days to get an item from Quebec to Alberta but it takes 6-7 days, a complaint and out-sourcing to get something delivered to an address less that 30 minutes from their offices and warehouses. Customer service was a joke! I asked "When am I to expect my order? " Their response was "yes".

The delivery truck came and left without calling our store. I went to the head office in the west end. One of the supervisors Subi was kind to help me right away and arranged the delivery the following day. If your supplier uses Day and Ross plz ask them for special instructions of calling or making an appointment before arriving

I wished I could give this crooked company zero stars for their inept 'freight' and LTL services.

I had 3 pallets shipped from AB to Ottawa, and was quoted approx. $440. However, after the shipment was delivered, I received an invoice for close to $6k for 'additional' shipping charges! I contacted their billings department, and had them acknowledge that they miscalculated the amount.

The final bill ended up being $770+, even when I was assured multiple times through the phone and email that there would be little to no additional charges for splitting the one pallet to 3 different pallets, since the weight stayed the same as initially quoted.

Furthermore, Day and Ross damaged one of the pallets, and refused to take responsibility nor offer compensation for their shoddy delivery.

Their 'claims department' refused all claims, and didn't even bother to review all the documents that were sent to them before denying the claim.

I would avoid Day and Ross Freight, and advice all businesses to stop working with the inept LTL company.

Absolutely terrible experience shipping to Ontario. They no showed me two days in a row for pick up. Charged a whole lot more than I was quoted. Refused to acknowledge their mistake and each person I spoke to face a different reason as to why. Unorganized and unprofessional

This is by far the worst fright company. My order was lost which effectively ruined my entire summer as I was awaiting parts for my boat. When they lost them I questioned what could be done and the said well file a claim it too three weeks to find the missing part. My second order came from Home Depot as they are there shipping partner and they have lost that as well and they are totally unapologetic and could careless about their inconvenience

Waiting on a shipment sent from Quebec on March 31 and was estimated to arrive in Edmonton on April 4th. I have used their tracking and it arrived in Surrey, BC April 7th. Then arrived in Saskatoon, SK April 12th. Called to find out why it has been sent to so many other locations, they said they didn't know and just guessed there were mistakes. Then asked when I might expect and they said don't know.

Absolutely the worst freight company around. Steer far clear from this organization. They have zero accountability to their customers. They will shut down their operation for the most ridiculous reason and have you miss important deadlines. They currently have “no drivers”and my shipment is stuck somewhere and they won’t release it back to me so I can have it handled by someone else. Incredibly unprofessional. Save yourself the hassle.

Don't use this company for anything. They over charged on my credit card. When I called was told will email me with updates. 7 days passed no communication. Haha paid for service and spending good amount of time to talk to customer care to refund.

Oh yeh, when delivery arrived the truck driver was saying the tail gate not hold the weight and its overweight. I paid for another 150$ for tail gate. Now I have to hire a 3rd party to off load the truck.

Haha. I know writing this reviews also a waist of my time. Thx for your excent service. I love it.

BE WAREY OF THIS COMPANY

I ordered a couch which is being delivered by Day and Ross. When I talked to their representative on the phone they told me it would be delivered to my apartment. I received a phone call to tell me it is being left on the front step because it’s “Not his job to bring it upstairs” so now I’m left at my own devices as to how I’m going to get this 200 on sofa up to my apartment by myself.

What an absolute disgrace of a company.

I have no idea why anyone has rated them higher than 1 star. This company has damaged and lost so many orders, it's wonder that they remain in business. I have tried reaching out to anyone in leadership and had no reply. The customer service line does nothing to help you. When they lose something or damage it, good luck getting any help. As someone with a lot of experience in logistics, I can appreciate that things happen. For me it is always about how you handle the situation after the ball has been dropped. Unfortunately, Day & Ross has zero follow up after, and takes no responsibility. They do not value the relationships with customers. I strongly urge you to schedule your freight elsewhere.

Not recommended Day and Ross. Estimated delivery date was on June 24, but I keep waiting for it to arrive which resulted me to miss 2 days of work. I also tried contacting customer service and they also kept pushing it to the next day with no accurate date of arrival.
Finally I received my package on June 29 but I'm not happy about it.
The delivery guy didn't contact me, not even a call, just left the box at my driveway without any notice. If my husband didn't walk out we would not have known, this item is worth $1000 and someone could have stolen it.

Load supposed to be delivered from Calgary to Edmonton. It was picked up on May 6. Today is May 26. The freight is still on its way. Customer service is horrible and worst than I've ever seen.

Very poor customer service. My shipment arrived 10 days ago and still no call to pick up. No response from customer service and have memorized the on line recording about how professional this company is. What a joke!

Shipment was over 3 days late, Day & Ross customer support was no help at all and didn’t seem to care about providing the service they were paid for.

There are 2 Erin who work at this location and they BOTH absolutely went above and beyond to get me my freight on my hands despite of the backlogs they were experiencing.
I was very pleasant dealing with them and admire their customer 1st attitude.

We called ahead to make sure everything was in order and we were told it was and that we could stop by anything. We did, then presented the necessary paperwork.and then waited for more than 30 minutes. When I inquired on the status, the comment back was. "SOON! They're really busy in the warehouse! " In the end, we received everything, but customer service was lacking. Could just be the day, or maybe that's the norm.

Very shady shipping service damages items and doesn't want to take the full responsibility for the damages also was trying to blame the center for packaging incorrectly the item prior to shipping which in this case it was not the sender it was the shipping company who is responsible for the all the damages and the damages are estimated now at $1181.36.
