Absolutely terrible company. How are they still in business? Ordered cabinets they showed up with one driver. All the measurements were on the invoice however they obviously don’t read. They took everything back and refused to deliver. Now I have to wait another 3 days for delivery as they don’t work weekends. How do you agree to deliver something but don’t bring what you need.

Every time a shipment is delivered ro my work it's covered in foot prints, crushed or holes from forklifts. The dock workers have no care for the freight in their care. If I worked there if be embarrassed.

Had a replacement box for my 08 Ford F150 shipped from Ontario with Day & Ross via the Sender. I was called on a Friday afternoon to say it had arrived.

I attended their Westwinds Depot to make arrangements to sign for it & to have them deliver it to my home.

I was told they would have to clear it with the sender (Southern Metal) to get clearance. Even though I had paid for everything, including the freight and it was in my name.

So an hour of my life wasted I will never get back. I returned home to contact Southern Metal & they were at a loss as why they would not allow the release.

After 2 or 3 days dealing with Southern Metal, it became clear Day & Ross were not willing to work with me & had no real interest in delivering it to my house.

Thanks to the Awesome Team at AAA Towing, who I have used in the past, they were more than willing to accommodate my request and on the Friday, a full week later, I was finally able to retrieve my truck box.

The enclosed pictures were taken in the yard of Day & Ross, but I could not get to see the damage they did until after I had sign for it.

Bumps & Scraps are one thing, but the damage done to the front leading edge of the box is going to require about 3 hrs worth of body work, plus materials.

You can also see where the skid was actually rammed & broken by the forklift driver.

It took me several months to find an pristine, unrusted box for my restoration. Not to mention substantial money. But, in the matter of days, thanks to one company with NO pride in their work & no respect for another persons property, I am now out at least $1000. In repair, transportation costs and additional delays on my project.

Then to top it off the following Monday I received a snotty voicemail from them asking when I was picking my freight up as I said I was going to do it the previous week.

Needless to say Day & Ross is not on my Christmas list this year.

I was told the day before that my delivery would arrive the next day between 9AM - 6PM which is an entire day window! I took the day off work and waited from 8AM - 7PM but nothing came. I called Day & Ross the following day and they took zero responsibility and said it might be there the following week. It’s now two weeks late and I’m still waiting. Zero customer service.

Someone from this company left a voicemail for a delivery. I called back and because the person didn’t leave a tracking number the person who answered couldn’t or wouldn’t pull up my delivery. Chances are this is a gift for my daughter from a family member. No solution. Nothing - just hope someone calls back I was told. In this era of technology that’s absurd. Would never recommend.

Slow service. When you track your package you can see it enter a depot and then it just sits there for days if not weeks. Don’t use this company if you need something shipped in a timely manner.

Have had to deal with them 8 times. They have been late (ouside their 4 hour window) seven of the eight times. You would think that giving a customer 4 hours where they need to be available inconvénient enough but then they push it even later almost every time. It is extremely frustrating for because I need to be away from work. They really have no respect for people’s time. Trying to get information on arrival time is like banging your head against a brick wall. They won’t even reach out to the driver to get an eta. On a positive note, thé drivers I’ve had the last two times were absolutely wonderful, kind and polite.even if the front office can’t get scheduling straight.

They have ignored delivery instructions and damaged multiple shipments. Currently they have a small shipment of mine somewhere between Edmonton and Calgary. It's been in transit for 12 days. I could walk to Edmonton in 2 days. They seem to hate their jobs. Why own a shipping company if you choose to be so bad at it?

Terrible customer service, nobody answers the phones and I only get automated e-mail replies.

Delivery driver "attempted" deliver on a Sunday? They stated "I was not home", but I was there the entire day, nobody even attempted to contact me about the delivery.

Really disappointed in our experience with Day and Ross. As a salesperson I am often the first to hear of poor experiences with shippers, and I have to say Day and Ross takes the cake. We actually switched to using them after a couple bad experience's with another shipper, but have decided to go back to that shipper as it was truly never THIS bad. If you want to save your day of being frustrated, on hold, no answers, a company losing shipments and way bills, I would recommend looking elsewhere. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Very irresponsible place to go work, The female manager I worked for have zero knowledge of the what i was working on, they will always blame either drivers or people in office, manager is not enough matured to handle situations around. Especially some of the check in admins have all the unnecessary attitude. Am glad I quit their and joined a professional company.

Worst company to use shipment is in Calgary on Saturday we are 30min east call them Wednesday to be told now my shipment has been handed off to another company to deliver no idea when it will get to me so now how do I explain this to a customer whos order is already days late that they can't tell me a set day it will arrive.don't use this company.

So far my package has sat in Calgary for 4 days.my due day is in 1 day.they surely make more than 1 run down from Calgary to Lethbridge.if my package doesn't arrive before I leave town for work who knows how hard it will be to get it! Very poor service IMO

Terrible to deal with. Waiting more than a month for something that should only take days. When calling to inquire, I am told lies, with no concrete answers or solutions. Will never do business with this group again, and encourage any that reads this review to stay away.

I waited for a shipment over a month while it was on their docks down the road from me. I called literally 8-9 times and got different information each time regarding my item. Eventually it came and the driver was incredibly kind though.

They give you a quote, charge you and then charge you more once they deliver. What a joke don't use this company they lie to make extra money. Will never use again

Too bad this won't let you give 0 Stars. I've had a shipment stuck 3 hours from me for two weeks. I've called customer service the last two days in a row only to be told today that they never received it. I posed the question to them - Why would your web tracking service show a progress scan from the origin and the steps in between if you never received it? The question was answered with deer-in-the-headlights silence. At this point I am under the impression that my shipment has been stolen by an employee and this is how they deal with it. My insistence on finding my package hasn't yielded any results. Anyone considering using this company to send anything of any value to anybody should think long and hard about what they are prepared to lose doing so.

Really no words for how horrendous this company is…. A whole lot of empty promises and even more excuses…. I’ll just say O stars would be more appropriate but unfortunately you can’t give that!
They set up delivery times and never show up no call no communication no nothing…. I can’t even imagine working in the customer service area with this company I wouldn’t last 5 minutes…. Still have not received my delivery of my mobility scooter…. Waiting AGAIN for another set delivery time but this will be the last as I will request a refund of my scooter and then the GIO SCOOTERS CANADA can now deal with them!
